The food and drinks here are really good. I had a frozen rum runner with a floater before dinner. I recommend it. This is the second time I've been here, both times on a Sunday, not over crowded and has a casually happy atmosphere.

Like this local joint been coming here for few years. Good is always consistent and good. This last time I got a steak Cajun style and asked for it medium well when I got it and looked into it and tried it is was well done. Told our waitress that and she said that's medium well and that's what we asked for but. I have had my fair share of steaks and medium well has a slight pink middle and for sure isn't dry and tough, was kind of not happy with that that there was no solution to this plus it took for ever for the food to come out. Next time I'm sticking to my fish tacos lol

First time at Bonefish Mac's we ordered some appetizers and I ordered the lobster bisque which was very tasty. We got the fried basket of shrimp and the fried calamari. Unfortunately the calamari was rubbery and the shrimp was very greasy. Overall it was ok our waiter was very nice and attentive.

Stopped by Bonefish Mac's Sports Grille for lunch before running a few errands. The sports bar was large with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, flat screen TV's throughout the restaurant, college football banners hung, framed jerseys and other memorabilias displayed on the walls. Their menu offers a vast selection of dishes such as: * Appetizers/soups/salad bowls/desserts * Seafood/ribs/wings/burgers * Pasta/fajitas/tacos * Wraps/hotdogs/sandwiches/subs *Cold beverages/craft beer/cocktails/wine/frozen margaritas My server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu and specials when I told her it was my first time at Bonefish Mac's. After some time overlooking the menu, I decided to order a glass of white Zinfandel and some shrimp fajitas which was served with four tortillas, pico de gallo, shredded lettuce & cheese, and a side of black beans and rice. The shrimp fajitas was made nicely even though it was cooked with too much onions. After picking out the jalapenos (I don't like jalapenos) that was place on top of the beans and rice, I placed a bit of everything on the tortilla and ate my fill. I asked my server for a container to take the leftovers home. I had no room for dessert so I finished my wine and paid the check. There's a possibility that I may return to Bonefish Mac's. There are a few things on the menu that I would like to come back and try...and having happy hour all day is definitely a good incentive to stop by.

Went for the $7.99 lunch special I got the soup sandwich combo and an Angry Orchard hard cider. It was very full & icy cold must have it on tap.

    "Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla"

I don't know what happened to this place. Years ago, it was great for a quick bite with great service. Tonight's service was average, but the food was awful. The potatoes in the potato boats tasted like they were cooked a week ago. My husband ordered the bbq grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries tasted like they had been fried three times. They were inedible, as was the bacon that was so overcooked it was like beef jerky. As for the buffalo chicken quesadilla, I've probably ordered it 50 times over the years. This time, it came with previously frozen diced "chicken" with a side of separated buffalo sauce and about 3 shreds of cheese. Despite not containing the buffalo chicken I ordered, it was somehow still greasy. It was also inedible. Even the key lime pie was terrible. It was 90% crust, which had no sweet taste at all. We sat in a booth. The back of one of the benches was broken, so my husband essentially dined in a lounge chair. The booth cushions are ripped and falling apart. The staff used to be...clean? This place desperately needs an overhaul. We won't be back.

Conch fritters, St. Patty's Melt and Tropical Pecan salad were all tasty and good choices. Service was good with a pleasant atmosphere. Nicely decorated with an unexpected arcade room for young and old.

Looking forward to going back to Bonefish Mac's!! I loved the vibe at the outdoor bar area -- TVs, music, lively crowd and it felt like a tiki hut, sort of. I ordered the fried shrimp which were delicious with sides of pasta salad and baked beans. The pasta salad is tasty!! The menu is extensive Alf I look forward to trying additional items as well as the shrimp again. The bartender was warm and friendly and provided solid service. Parking lot with free parking.

We chose to sit outside to enjoy the view. It was a little warm, but definitely worth it for the scenery. We ordered the shrimp sushi roll and the fresh catch branzino. The shrimp roll was excellent and definitely our favorite. The branzino was fresh and well prepared, though it wasn't our favorite dish of the meal. Our friends ordered the burger with fries, and they absolutely loved it. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back for the views, great service, and delicious food.

We were in town a few weeks ago (yes, I'm negligent in my reviews - damn life getting in my way)…read morevisiting family and decided on dinner here, based on a positive experience of one of my dining partners. The location is lovely, overlooking the ocean. If it were cooler a patio spot would have definitely added to the experience. First, I need to be an old lady for two things: 1. The super tiny font on the menu. I could make out the menu item name but reading the fine print of the description was damned near impossible. While the ambiance-lighting may have contributed to the difficulty, I feel like they could have chosen a better, and bigger, font. 2. Noise level - it was awful. I will *never* understand why restaurant decorators fail to address a noise level. It was awful. We were with my elderly Aunt and WE were having difficulties, so I know she was. All three of us have been in the restaurant business and that was quite literally the first thing we commented on when we sat down. That aside our experience was terrific. The area where this is located is nice, shared parking nearby, and a number of places to walk by and look in or eat at (we did not do that ourselves). We did not make reservations and didn't have to wait too long for a table (it was summer, so I'd suggest reservations during the cooler months). Our waiter was Ariel and he was fantastic. I have a couple of food issues that helped me to make sure that I was able to work around. I ended out getting the Shrimp & Grits without the ham and it was super good. It was a little too much creole sauce for me, but still tasty. The portion was plentiful. One of my dining partners received a dish that I believe was also creole spiced and it was too spicey for her. Ariel helped her find something else to eat and took care of it immediately. Because of my delay, I totally forgot what my third dining partner ordered but she was pleased with her dish. (she was the repeat visitor, so I *know* she enjoys the place. Even though the noise level was dreadful during our entire visit, our visit was a good one. Thank you for reading my review.

Ahhh, the Briny - the magical place where Pompano Beach meets the Atlantic Ocean…read more Many of nights have been had here listening to local live music and dancing into the whee hours of the morning with some libations. However, on this particular day we chose subsistence for our appetites. Now, we usually go on Prime Rib Monday- when we are going there to eat. We prefer it over Bonefish Mac's Prime Rib Monday (but they are both good). Briny also has specials on Tuesday and Wednesday (one day is Mahi tacos). But, le sigh, this was a Thursday. The place was pretty packed at 5:30 pm.m. with only a couple of open tables. There were a few families and some elderly people and then your typical "salt of the earth" people. Just another day at Briny. The local staff were all present and greeted us with smiles and "Hey- how have you been(s)? They are all very friendly and work well together and know the locals. My son chose the nachos - he is not a big sea food person. They are some very good nachos and I recommend get extra sour cream next time. My husband went with "my" usual order of fish fingers (mahi in a panko breading) and fries. Can never go wrong with this order- solid choice. I went with something I have never had here before- the Mahi Reuben (blackened). I got tator tots with it. Mixing things up! It was very tasty and unique. Something a little different. Then, the guy behind us with his 3 kids (2 in a wagon- haha) and his wife stood up, looked at my husband and said- "Get the fish and chips! It's amazing!" Well, my husband had been pining over that decision because that is his usual order but he was trying something different. However, this was the Briny Pompano family man whispering to go with old faithful. It was fate! It was meant to be. The atmosphere aligned at the corner of Atlantic and A1A. Oh waitress!!! Another order! The fish and chips were amazing. Just like the fatherly Briny whisperer said - Cod in a beer batter. Light and flakey and add that malt vinegar with tarter sauce...yummo!! (IMO- Briny tarter sauce is better than Flannigans). And, don't forget to add the malt vinegar to the ketchup for the fried and extra pepper! A great feast was had by all and we all went home happy and with leftovers. Get down to the Briny for where the magic meets the sea. Get some dinner, listen to live music, get up and dance and breathe that salty air. Live a little and meet some new people! Good times had by all.

We managed to slide in just in time for happy hour, so the wife kicked things off right with a great cocktail. To keep the kids happy while we looked over the menu, we started with the mozzarella sticks and corn dog poppers. Both were total crowd-pleasers--crispy, melty, and didn't last long on the table. For the mains, the family spread was a massive success. The kids went with the classics: a juicy cheeseburger with golden fries, and crispy chicken tenders with perfectly fried tater tots. Both got total nods of approval. The wife and I went the salad route, ordering the Cobb salad and the Caesar salad, both topped with blackened chicken. Let me tell you, that blackened seasoning is the real deal here! It gave both salads a smoky, savory punch that elevated the whole meal. At the end of the day, Legends serves up **classic bar food done absolutely right**. The vibe is fun, the food is unpretentious and delicious, and the service was on point. Last time we were there was when it was Moira Grill. It is located in the strip on the south side of the street near the Briny Irish pub and just a short walk to the beach. There are inside tables and a few umbrella covered outside tables. The menu looks a bit expensive. We asked about specials and they had a lot of lunch specials -- all for about $15. The server recited the specials to us. If you are not familiar with Cuban food, or Spanish, you'd have to ask for a translation. We both ordered one of the specials. They really should print these up or at least have one written sheet with these lunches listed to look at. They'd have a much bigger number of diners. My husband had the ropa vieja. He said it was quite good with tender meat, but the little portion served in a little bowl was small. It came with white rice and plantains. I got their lunch special of a skewer. You could choose either beef or chicken and I chose chicken. The chunks of chicken were grilled yet still moist. In between the pieces were slices of onion or slices of a cut up green pepper. It came with rice and plantains. This was quite good, also, , but could have used some additional seasoning. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.
