Honestly I don't have much of a problem coming here. But for some reason I try to order online and the website wouldn't take my card. So I come up to the store to order and the prices are HIGHER ! I don't know why but I was pis

I was a repeat customer over 4 years ago and this place was always a hit. I moved away to DFW and finally found my way back to Houston, but I was scared to come back to try it since there were a few reviews where people complained about the quality of the wings and price increases. Thankfully, it did not disappoint. The wings were a good size and everything tasted great, they also didn't skimp on the fries portion which I appreciate since potatoes aren't that expensive. I also added cheese to the boudain balls and they complimented the meal very well. I loved every bite. The inside of the restaurant has a fair selection of seating and was clean. They expanded since my last visit, looks nicer now. Finding a parking spot was not an issue during a Friday around dinner time. The service was also very attentive, my partner went to ask for a to-go box and before the person in the front could find one, someone popped up from the back (I guess they overheard) and handed one to her. I'll be coming back whenever I'm around the area and am in the mood for some delicious wings.

Bonfire used to be really good but I feel like they have changed their recipes. I visited this past weekend and the Bonfire Fried were okay but the Garlic Parmesan were really good. We also had the Original Hot which I don't eat but my friends had mixed reviews about them. The boudin balls and pina coladas are really good as well.

Came here because I saw an advertisement at the Galena Park HS Football game. Ordered the Bonfire Special; lemon pepper, spicy creole, and upgraded boudin balls with cheese. Lemon pepper was amazing! The spicy creole tasted very plain. The boudin balls were good just disappointed with lack of cheese. But still great flavor. Service was friendly, food speed not so fast. Ambiance, was decent, I wish they would have had the local football games on (North Shore, I came to Bonfire in a Friday).

The wings are amazing close second to Pluckers. These types of wings are cajun style! I typically order the cajun mojito (used to be called mojo) and it is impressively tasty and the right kind of spicy. Fries are very good and they use Heinz ketchup! Love the traditional boudin balls with ranch. Service is super fast. The place was remodeled a few years back and it is much nicer ambience. They have the modern coke machines too. Don't forget to get the loyalty points as well with your meal. I've been going to this place for 15 years and have never been disappointed. A must stop for wing lovers.

Bonfire special: Garlic Parmesan wings, substitute for the boudin balls with cheese and order an extra ranch. Delicious.

I don't even remember what I ordered the food was great. Wings went in crazy 10/10 recommend. The service was maybe a 8/10 because the lady couldnt really tell me what she would recommend because she didn't know what I was asking for sone reason.. overall the ambiance of this wing spot was great.. good food that made me happy and go back the next day.. great job

Feels good when an establishment takes pride in their customer's feedback and puts a plan into action. Honestly, part of me was hoping that last time was just a fluke or an off day. This time around, everything from the service to the food was great. We had a 12:30 Sunday reservation for two and opted to sit inside this time. We ordered the cast-iron cornbread, chargrilled oysters, and a cup of gumbo each to start. For entrées, I had the Gulf Fish, while my husband went with the crawfish Florentine. Everything came out beautifully timed, almost like a perfectly paced three-course meal, which obviously made the whole experience feel elevated and relaxed. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. I also tried the prickly pear aid (non-alcoholic), and it was super refreshing, definitely worth ordering if you like a little tartness to cleanse your palate. Overall, this visit felt like a completely different experience than last time. It delivered the elevated experience a place like Eunice promises and what I was used to originally. Looking forward to celebrating my birthday here in June!

Unfortunately, the overall dining experience was disappointing due to both the service and the food quality. Our server was very slow throughout the evening. After ordering cocktails, it took approximately 20 minutes for them to arrive. We then ordered our meals... I had the burger and fries, while my girlfriend ordered the shrimp and grits. Both dishes were noticeably over salted. After finishing our meals, we waited an additional 15-20 minutes just to receive a dessert menu. Eventually, we decided not to wait any longer and went to Dessert Gallery down the street instead. While the atmosphere and appearance of the restaurant were excellent, the slow service and food issues negatively impacted the experience. Based on this visit, I would likely not return.

We started by sharing a couple of appetizers - the smoked redfish dip and the biscuits. I'm weird about smells and aftertastes - and was hesitant to try the smoked redfish dip. The dip was flavorful and very smoky - the crackers it is served with were amazing. The aftertaste was tolerable, but a little fishy for me. The biscuits - I could write poems about them. I'd go back to eat baskets of just those biscuits. Highly recommend. My husband ordered the fried catfish platter - it was amazing. The catfish nuggets were crunchy and HOT (temperature), the fries were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppy was a crunch heard around the globe. Sadly, the shrimp and grits arrived to the table at room temp. The flavor was really good, but I was worried to mention the temp issue and have the kitchen nuke them in the microwave. The red beans and rice were similarly room temp and congealed. The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, the service was solid, and on a Tuesday evening we could have walked in and been seated quickly. Overall, it was a nice evening with our friends. Sometimes the company makes up for small disappointments.

The hush puppies are really good and I also liked the tartar sauce. When the seafood gumbo came out and it was sat on the table, I smelled a foul odor. It smelled spoiled. I told my man and he said he thought it was the crab, The crab smelt funky. He did tell the server and she told the manager and they removed it from our check. Inside it's a nice restaurant with an upscale feel to it. I ordered a house salad for $9 to start and the Pasta Rosa entree for another $28. The salad arrived first with a generous amount of romaine lettuce with diced tomatoes, cucumber, shredded carrots and chopped eggs on top. With my chosen ranch dressing it was a good tasting salad. The Pasta Rosa dish had sliced Parmesan strips on top of penne with shrimp, crawfish and sausage for the protein with mushrooms and a tomato cream sauce. This meal initially tricked me. My first impression was that while there was plenty of protein the taste of the tomato cream sauce was lacking some flavor. I expected more. However as I kept eating and getting beyond the top layer of the food the flavor increased significantly. I think that the proteins caused the sauce in the lower half of the dish to create more punch. This dish got better and better and I changed my mind. It turned out to be a very good tasting and filling meal. Finally the table service was very good too. P.S. I also tried part of another appetizer which was the bar b q shrimp for $16. They were tasty. I like Rouxpour and would return. My only negative is that their prices are a little on the high side in my opinion.
