Chilaquiles rojos y chilaquiles verdes

Very good service but wasn't very pleased with the meat. It seems like they cooked it in pork fat. The chicken was also very dry but overall everything else was good, it was just the meats that weren't that great. The chilaquiles were good!

Restaurant

The food was amazing. Mojarra frita was just perfect and the tacos are also a great choice. The service was amazing and friendly. The place is very nice.

Saw this little place from across Thriftyland 101 and had to make a stop since I was already craving Mexican food and my father is from Sinaloa. Food was DELICIOUS. Chilaquiles were good and my friend got huevos rancheros with a lot of bell peppers, which she loves. Liked the Pedro Infante songs they were playing, too. My father is a huge fan of him. Good service. Good Mexican restaurant for the theme and taste.

Just pulled out of the oven peach cobbler

We drove from California just to come have lunch. We left home at 4 am. Great food brisket, babyback ribs, spicy sausage, potatoes salad, and of course desert peach cobbler. By the way we took 2 quarts to go

Wow, this place had a really good posole! I'm saddened that I ate the whole thing without snapping a picture! I did snap a pic of the sides. I also ordered a carnitas burrito. Originally was going to do Grub Hub but then decided to go check it out. This is when the friendly cashier shared that they carry posolr and menudo Daily!!! I have to say, super excited to hear this news. Also, my posole came with so many sides: tortilla chips, tostadas, salsa, lemon, cabbage, lemon, cilantro, oregano, cabbage and crushed pepper. I have to share about the experience. It's located in a strip mall, signage is big, with plenty of parking. Upon entering, they have a large dining area also patio seating. They noise was not bad, and plenty of folks enjoying their food. Customer service was great, the food was hot, and very reasonable prices. I recommend this place and I can't wait to go back and snap some pictures. But check out my sides

Caballitos de Mar

Bonito Sinaloa was perfect! The Caballitos de Mar is not on the physical menu but you can still order it. It includes both Green and Red aguachile divided and 3 Shrimp & Oyster shots. It makes a great starter for a couple of people but it's a lot for one person. The shrimp was delicious but what made this dish stand out for me over other restaurants is the red and green salsa were both perfectly balanced. I didn't favor one over the other because they had the same texture, acidity, spiciness, and saltiness which were all on point. The michelada came out nice and cold in a chilled mug.

Love this place, have been a customer since I was in my teenage yrs. I would come with my parents and introduced my boyfriend to this location and let just say he enjoyed their molcajete and also their filete relleno. I apologize forgot to take photo of the food and only took of their botana Sinaloa. Place is clean and has great service, Sujey has always been our server and she's a great young lady! I will always give her a 5star for her amazing service. Ohhhh btw this location has been newly renovated!

I used to work here years ago so I know how much care goes into the food & drinks. The Puesto Perfect Margarita is still my favorite margarita I've ever had. Everything is made fresh & you can absolutely taste the difference. I always order mine with a sugar rim. It's consistently refreshing, balanced & incredibly smooth. We stopped by on a Monday around 4:30 p.m. just before happy hour ended. It was nice & relaxed when we arrived. It only started getting a little busier as we were leaving. We took advantage of happy hour & ordered a few favorites. The potato taquitos have been one of my go-to menu items for years & are just as delicious as I remembered. Crispy on the outside, flavorful inside & served over a generous bed of fresh guacamole that makes every bite even better. We also tried one of the newer happy hour items the short rib mini burrito served with a green sauce. Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. The short rib was tender & the sauce added the perfect amount of brightness. I was happily snacking on the chips with the molcajete salsa. It's one of my favorite restaurant salsas. I also love the chips with Puesto Perfect guacamole. It makes it hard to stop eating. Since it was my birthday I treated myself to a Tropical Candy Shot. If you like bold flavors definitely order one. It reminded me of a Mexican street candy in shot form with a Tajín rim & a pineapple garnish. It was festive, flavorful & the perfect birthday treat. The sweetest surprise of the evening was the complimentary birthday dessert. A slice of pistachio tres leches cake. I love tres leches but I've never had a pistachio version before. It was incredibly moist & rich without being too heavy. The pistachios added the perfect crunch & nutty flavor. It was one of the highlights of the meal. One small detail I always appreciate is that they bring a pitcher of water to the table. This makes it easy to refill your glass throughout the meal without waiting. It's a thoughtful touch that makes the dining experience feel more comfortable. I'm so glad we came back after not visiting for quite a while. I love the consistently amazing margaritas, delicious happy hour menu, & warm hospitality. The thoughtful birthday surprise made it even better. It was a wonderful way to celebrate. I'll definitely be back! If you're visiting for the first time do yourself a favor & order the Puesto Perfect Margarita & potato taquitos. Also save room for the pistachio tres leches if it's available.

Doubling stacking deals was a big brain idea, I'll admit. I originally discovered Puesto through the Crazy, Wild Taco Night event I attended earlier this year, and it's nice to know that their restaurant offerings maintain their quality even outside of the competition setting. We ordered chips and salsa, esquite, non-alcoholic passion fruit margarita mocktails, filet mignon tacos, surf and turf tacos, and a grilled shrimp taco. I think I would skip the grilled shrimp taco next time, but the other two tacos were great and the 50% off price point made them even tastier. Our host and server were both very friendly, and we enjoyed the meal. Free self parking is available for two hours with validation from the restaurant.

My favorites are the enchiladas and the menudo, and the agua frescas and orange juice are always made in house and taste amazing. If you a re in the area and hungry don't hesitate to stop and try their food, you won't regret it.

The agua de melón was delicious, and the side of beans was excellent. We also ordered a plain quesadilla, and it was surprisingly really good. The menudo itself was just okay--not bad, but nothing special. The reason I'm giving 2 stars isn't because the staff were rude, but they definitely weren't friendly or welcoming. My biggest concern, however, was what I witnessed with the condiments. When you order menudo, they bring a plate with limes, onions, and chili. I watched two employees clear tables, throw away some items, but keep the unused onions and uncut lime wedges from customers' plates and take them back into the kitchen to be served again. Even if I didn't use all of the onions or limes, that doesn't mean I didn't touch them. Reusing food that has already been on a customer's table is unsanitary and unacceptable. After seeing that, it made me wonder whether other items, like leftover chips, might also be reused. Whether or not that's the case, what I witnessed was enough to make me lose confidence in their food handling practices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning

Review #1,082 Posted on 7.8.26…read more We stopped in here for a late night burrito & quesadilla on Sunday night the 5th after driving up from the Bay prior & getting checked into our room. This spot is located in a small strip mall shortly off the freeway on La Palma Ave in Anaheim. The food was really good, I was impressed with the meat portions in our burritos & quesadilla. There was a ton of meat. Both the red & green salsas were hot but still edible too. The rice & beans were quality as well. Highly recommend hitting this local spot up as they stay open late, and serve quality food.

I asked for their Birria tacos, the lady said this location doesn't have the Birria menu. Which is weird because other Yelpers posting a pic of their menu and it's their Birria menu. But alright. I proceeded to order and asked for their street tacos. She didn't tell me this is a cash only location also. So I went to go pick up/pay and when I go in to pay the man says, "cash only." I offered debit card, tap, Zelle. Nope. Cash only. Sucks they don't tell you over the phone. It's not advertised online either. I don't know what it is about this location. But imma keep my business at the Whittier location where they're friendly, offer their Birria menu, and other ways to pay.

Cool spot with some great margaritas and cocktails!…read more Love this little Mexican restaurant located on the bottom floor of the Packing House. Came in for a little date night on a Saturday evening. The whole staff was friendly and accommodating, always quick to refill drinks or clear empty plates. We started off with some delicious and spicy oysters which were topped with a shrimp! We also had to try the Chori-brussels which are flash fried Brussels sprouts with chorizo, balsamic reduction, and Oaxacan cheese. For drinks we got a Santo Dia, a whiskey based cocktail with watermelon, lime, and fizz served over ice. We also ordered the Spicy margarita which had watermelon habanero, lime, and hibiscus flavors. They were both delicious and refreshing, the spicy marg had a good kick to it. For dinner we got a caesar salad, the ribeye plate, and the Urbana burger. We both loved the dressing on the caesar, it's made in house and it shows. The ribeye was cooked perfectly with a delicious herb butter on top, a really good steak sauce on the side, and thick cut fries. The ribeye wasn't the highest quality but it tasted good, the fries were perfect. My fiancé got the burger which had chorizo, melted queso Oaxaca, and an egg on top. Not gonna lie it was absolutely delish! I want to come back just for the burger. All in all we had a great time and I would definitely come back for some other menu items, especially to try more of their margs and specialty cocktails. Thanks Urbana!
