You guys! I love bakeries and pastries. I knew that spending a weekend in St. George I had to go try this place! We arrived around 9:30 am Saturday morning and there was a steady stream of people. There was a long line but it went fairly quickly. By the time we left the line had easily doubled. My spouse had a breakfast croissant that was delicious. I tried a Kouing Amann and it was a top notch version of it. Very buttery and gooey. It's a heavy dessert but so decadent. We tried some cookies that were crispy and tasty. The Guava pastry was fantastic. Honestly I am bummed I can't stop by on a regular basis. read more

This place is THE Bakery in St. George. We went there 3 times while in St. George for vaca, but aborted the 3rd trip before ordering because the line on a Saturday morning was nuts. We had been on 2 previous visits here earlier in the week, we arrived pretty early (like 7:30 or 8am) to pick up breakfast before hikes. On the first day we got a Breakfast sandwich (croissant) which we had heated and cut in half to split. It was pretty rich. Also a coffee and a Chai. I LOVED the barista, he was a doll! The 2nd trip we got a Kougin Aman and a maple bar (breakfast) - I found the Kougin Aman to be a bit drier than I am used to, but I still ate every bite. For our lunch hike, we ordered a Caprese sandwich to split. We did also ask for the sandwich to be cut in half and wrapped up to take on our hike. They put it in a paper bag, which ultimately was pretty greasy by the time we unpacked it. All in all a pretty good place, but I live in SF and I have 3 fantastic french bakeries with Michelin stared chefs within 8 blocks of my apartment, so I am a tough critic. For a small town like St. George, I totally understand the hype here. read more

Alright, get here early because this place just fills up and gets packed. The line moves quickly, but even at 10 AM, they were starting to run out of some things. So if you're wanting a savory croissant, it will not be there long. Everything I got was insanely delicious and soooo well done. The waiter gave me a lot of recommendations and he did not lead me astray. Told me to get the purple cake, orange zest donut and raspberry croissant. Purple cake was not my favorite, but only because out of the mix, it is the least flavorful. But it's a perfect pound cake. Orange zest donut was my personal favorite, it was absolutely divine and so flavorful. Every single thing was incredible. Kouignn amann is airier than I'm used to, but had a thick thick layer of caramel on the bottom that was just so gorgeous. Zero flops in the box. I'm planning on going back tomorrow. read more

Everyone said I needed to visit Farmstead for baked goods. Everyone was right. This bakery/eatery is legit. Fresh pastries, sammies and treats galore! I enjoyed the seasonal lemonade (mint and vanilla) paired with a few croissants-one plain, one chocolate and one stuffed with chicken salad. All were really good. Although the line was pretty long, it moved fast and the staff behind the counter were all working hard to get people in and out as quickly as possible. This will become a new frequent stop when we are in town. read more

If a billboard in NV says this place is the best bakery in Utah, is it necessary to check it out? YES!!!! Do not miss it! Even though I had just eaten lunch, I just had to see what the hype was all about. So glad I did. Service was excellent! They had tables for enjoying breakfast or lunch here. Parking was difficult to find even on a Thursday after lunch rush. In pictures you'll see what I ordered and cost. Though a little expensive, all were delicious fresh and even reheated several days later. It's definitely worth the effort to get here! read more

Living in Vegas and wondering what to do with a long weekend? Drive to Utah, of course. We only came into St. George for a day trip, but Farmstead was our first stop. I saw their beautiful treats on social media and bookmarked them months ago, and finally got to give them a try. We went in on a weekday, between breakfast and lunch, and they were still steadily busy with a line that wrapped around the shop - don't worry, it moved pretty quick. Their sweet and savory treats looked SO good I almost went back on our way out of town. We ended up getting four treats from the bakery case along with a slice of pizza to share, and a large latte for me - and I was so impressed with everything! The pizza and chocolate kouign aman were standouts, and everyone we interacted with was SO nice. I will have to grab one of their giant sandwiches next time I swing through town! Location is easy to find, right across from a park for an impromptu picnic if the weather is nice. The one thing I would suggest is for them to add a diaper changing station in the bathroom - Utah is always so family friendly that it was a shocker not to see one, and having to change my daughter on the floor is not my idea of a fun time. It seems like they might be affiliated with The Local wine bar in Vegas, so here's hoping they eventually bring us a location of this beautiful bakery, I really think they would do well. read more

The pastries might be life changing....I'm not joking. Their soooo good!! We sampled a bit of everything because we couldn't decide! We got the cinnamon roll, caramel apple fritter, pistachio cronut, cheese danish, key lime tart, and blueberry lemon bread. The cinnamon roll is almost like a croissant mixed with a cinnamon roll and is SO GOOD! Highly recommend getting a lemonade with cold foam on top. Fun and delicious. Farmstead is a great vibe and a perfect place to grab some gorgeous food to take with you into one of the parks. We did not sit in the cafe, but it had a cool layout and design with white tiles and light, airy ceilings. The food was great! We got two croissant sandwiches which were light and fresh, with a good size and well chosen fillings. We returned for a sweet treat and found these to also be delicious. The staff behind the counter were super friendly and took an interest in us. We felt welcome and left the place feeling like we'd supported a kind local business. read more

I don't typically review but I visited this place on a trip to St. George and it was a lot of expensive flour and water with out substance. We purchased a dozen of different pastries and they were all a big meh! They do very good with the optics of the store and presentation of the goods but once you drop $$$ and walk out of the store you will be disappointed. read more

We just happened to stumble on Farmstead while passing through St. George and I can't say enough good things about it. The croissant breakfast sandwich was amazing! The doughnuts were super good also, only thing I would like to have had different is the plain croissants, they were cold, that changed the taste and texture that was very pleasant. If they were warm I'm sure they would be amazing. One thing we also had was the cold brew with vanilla cold foam which was also very good. It's definitely a place you have to try if you're passing through or a local. We will definitely be back! read more

Bonrue Bakery has a fresh ambiance, simple but cute. The most time that you spend is trying to decide what you should get because it all looks delicious. The service is friendly and welcoming. I have not yet tried their cold sandwiches but I have tried their Ham and Cheese Croissant which was fantastic. My favorite baked good is their Kouign Amann and my favorite tart is their Key Lime. There's still so much more for me to try but I have enjoyed them every time I go! read more

So just to start this review the food is pretty decent kind of expensive but worth it, what's not worth it was the blatant racism of the customers that come in. Me and my wife went it today to grab some sweets and sandwiches after a trip in Zion park and I was lawfully carrying in Utah, it's open carry fully allowed. My Day was going ok then while in the restaurant unfortunately there was two black gentleman in there who once saw my firearm decided to start making hateful racist comments and threatening me because I was carrying a firearm assuming because I'm white that I'm "just a cracker who can't fight" and during these choice words thrown about none of the employees said anything or even apologized for what I had to deal with, which I'm sure it's because they don't want to cause trouble it's not fair to me to be berated just for being white and exercising my rights, and due to this will NEVER be going back nor would I recommend anyone to go if I were to be threatened just because I'm exercising my rights. read more

We got a bunch of different pastries and every single one was unique, clean, and sooooo good. Sometimes pastries can feel greasy or heavy, but not these! Randomly stopped in town while going up the 15 and what an awesome find this was. We ordered the croque monsieur and St George croissant to start our day-- both spectacular. We ordered a coffee cake, the peanut butter cookie, and a sea salt caramel donut for snacks during our drive. I loved the cookie and donut (my diet did not love it so much though, lol). Amazing pastries, sandwiches, breakfast bites (quiche + egg croissant sandwich), and perfect coffee options! Random bonus - soda fountain machine if you're not a coffee person. I hear the almond croissant was amazing. I also hear the cinnamon almond latte was very good. Fruit tart was great, but not exactly the filling I was expecting. It's not eggy at all, which is good, and it's more of a... uh, vanilla pudding? as opposed to a vanilla custard? I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly, but either way, it was good. I came in last fall following an event at Town Center. I ordered some pastries, not many choices when I came in because it was in the late afternoon. I need to arrive in the morning for a bigger selection! I can't remember what I had, but they were Y U M M Y and left me desiring more. The cashier / server was nice and I gave her a good laugh when commenting on a rather rude customer who had just left. The eaterie was as clean as could be, considering the crowd.
