Pros: Neat and clean dinning area Good service. Good desserts. Recommend the ultimate peanut butter brownie and cookies & cream brownie. Cons: Is a bit pricey but feel worth it and similar to other areas.

cute little bakery & café. for breakfast we've tried their bagels, blueberry apricot muffins & the monte christo croissant sandwich. their no bake cheesecake is one of the best! they're really all so good, made fresh out of the oven & are just perfect for breakfast before heading out to run errands. their mochas are always perfect & their strawberry lemonade is so good. they also have a tiny little corner with gift items like mugs, pens, pins, and cute locally made items. customer service is usually great, although one time we went, a lady was super grumpy when they first opened like she needed to get back to bed. that wasn't a nice experience that day, but overall it's great.

Peanut butter and chocolate brownie

I've heard so much about this cute little bakery that I wanted to try at least something from here. After having a delicious breakfast at the breakfast house my mom and I walked over to this bakery. I bought the peanut butter brownie and took it home. When I took my first bite out of it, I could not believe how delicious it was. It is the absolute best brownie I've ever had and the price is so reasonable. I will definitely visit this place again and try the many other reasonably priced items.

"Coconut Cream Pie"

Review is for Thanksgiving Coconut Cream Pie only ... while I want to give 5 stars, I can't because we received what tasted like the base of a custard, whipped cream and coconut sprinkles on the top. I actually thought my pie was mislabeled because it tastes like the custard I make for banana pudding before putting in the bananas and Nila wafers. While yummy, it wasn't a "coconut" cream pie. Everyone thought the pie was good, but wouldn't known it was coconut. Not one morsel or coconut IN the custard. One of my guest sliced up bananas to add to it! I did contact the owner seeing as it was a holiday order. Sent pics and everything. Would think she would offer to replace it for a different pie ... guess not. She was super polite though.

I really needed something sweet so I wanted to try something new. I got a cinnamon roll and it was sooooo soft and yummy. They warmed it up for me and I ate it about 20 seconds after I left. This bakery gives me feelings of a southern cafe even though I've never been to one! There's something about it that's so sweet and comforting. It's clean and well kept, there's a good size offering. The cold cases have pastries on hand but not overflowing so I wouldn't be surprised if they sell out of goods often. They have a little retail corner with take home items, premade cookies, seasonings etc. The ladies working were nice but not overly welcoming, no buttering up just straight to business. A little bit on the pricier side(no more than frosted) but for the shopping center location you can't expect otherwise. I will definitely come back for more baked goods and want to try their hot menu items as well!

This is a small coffee shop nuzzled in the corner of a few boutique shops off of Bullard and West. The coffee shop has items for sale like a boutique. There is a pastry counter, they sell sandwiches and of course hot and cold coffee drinks. I saw they had a cute flyer for a Valentine's Day dinner. This place is clean and nice for a quick cup of Joe. The barista made me a low carb almond milk laTte with sugar free caramel syrup. It was tasty!

Ask the Community - BooBoo Bean

Would this be a good place to have a baby shower? Like is there a good group gathering area?

It really only has one area, and some outside tables. Depending on the size of your party, I'm sure they'd love to try to accommodate. I recommend calling. They are very friendly.

Do you have gluten free options?

We try to offer at least one gluten free/dairy free baked good each day. However, we don't always have them available or they sell out so please call ahead to see what's in stock.

Delicious. Anything…read morethere is great, especially because it's all fresh. I'm a fan of the croissants with ham and cheese baked into them.

We were looking for a bakery to buy some cakes in Fresno area because it was the kiddo's birthday,…read moreand Yelp was able to show me this bakery. The bakery is located in a shopping plaza at Shaw and it looks like one of those high-end places in Fresno. So we found a bakery, which was at that time for people dining inside and outside because they do have brunch menu. luckily we're able to find that there's a separate line for the bakery items and the line, although ling, was quick when it was our turn. We had difficulty choosing which cakes to get but we were able to ask around what are the recommendations we were able to get their top selling cake which is a vanilla cake that has fruit compote in the middle and fruits as decoration. I think it was around $47 for this particular cake. When we got home, it kept well when we had our birthday celebration. We didn't have to put it back in the fridge. By the time we got to eating the cake. It was perfectly thawed and surprisingly delicious. It was moist and full of the fruit compote - they did not skimp on the fruit. It was lovely and highly recommended. When I come back to Fresno, I'd probably try their brunch items. Four stars for their cake.

I decided to try this restaurant while passing through Fresno, and I'm so glad I did. The reviews…read morespoke highly not only of the food, but also of the people--and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, Cindy and the entire team at The Berrock Shop welcomed us with genuine kindness and warmth. The environment was so warm, comfortable, and inviting that after a long drive, it immediately felt like a place where you could relax and enjoy yourself. It's clear they care deeply about the experience they create for every customer. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and exactly what we needed after being on the road. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. It's rare to find a place where you feel less like a customer and more like family, and that kind of experience stays with people. This is actually my very first Yelp review, which hopefully says something about how strongly I feel about this restaurant. I will gladly go out of my way to stop here again. And for those who live in Fresno, I would absolutely encourage you to support this local business. Restaurants with this kind of heart, care, and welcoming atmosphere deserve to be celebrated and supported by the community.

I had three items off their menu, the patty melt, chicken pot pie, and the shredded roast berrock…read more The patty melt was the least offensive thing I ordered, being just alright. it was a bit overcooked at the edges, so the crust had a burnt taste. Patty and onions were decent. Pot pie was edible, but not great. The whole thing was dry, and the crust is a quickbread crust instead of a pie crust, which made it worse. They try to make up for it by giving you an extra serving of gravy on the side, but if you know your food is dry you should fix it instead of putting a bandaid over it. The Berrock was the absolute worst. I bit into it and it just tasted like salt. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I got into the meat portion of it and took another bite. Pure freaking salt. It's like someone decided salt is the only necessary seasoning for their food. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat itself over the taste of salt. I ended up throwing it away after two bites. If the best this shop can do is "it's okay" then I've zero reason to come back.
