My boyfriend and I came to this cute little cafe by chance! We actually wanted some donuts and were across the street at Donut Fantasy, but they were closed so we drove over to check out what this little plaza had. We saw that they had baked goods, which was what we were in the mood for and thought we'd give them a try. I'm so glad we did! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and asked if we needed any help. After looking at all the baked goods, we chose a few things to try because it all looked so good. We got a ham and cheese croissant, the zucchini bread, a wedding cookie, and cannoli. All of these items were very good and tasted fresh and homemade. Their prices are very reasonable as well. We spent about $10 for 4 items. The weather was actually nice enough for us to sit outdoors and enjoy the water fountain and people watch. We had a very enjoyable experience here. Came over this morning, 10/22/21 with a couple of friends and had breakfast. Had bagel breakfast sandwich with side of fruit. Fluffy eggs, cheese and bacon on FRESH bagel. Awesome! Good price too. Staff very friendly and up beat, and ready to please. Store was clean, shelves fully stocked with all sorts of baked goods. Even had pre made heat and serve meals that they change out every week. Ordered the banana bread, the cannoli, the dole whip smoothie and a mocha coconut frappe. All good! But let me tell you, this dole whip smoothie is so good! Not overwhelmingly sweet or pineapple-y; has a touch of creaminess to it, but not overwhelmingly creamy either. Perfect blend. And this banana bread is so moist and the flavor is perfect! I picked up some baked goods to-go and have only tucked into the Italian Wedding Cookie which, first off, is almost the size of my palm! First time here, my sister recommended it for their great salads. I had the Thai Salad. It was sooo good. Loved the peanut dressing. Portions are huge, enough for two people. I've been going and grabbing lunch at BooBoo Bean on average about once a week, sometimes more, and I've been slowly making my way through their menu. Jenny and her crew are friendly, personable and helpful in guiding me in deciding what to eat when I walk in clueless. My go-to is the Cobb salad with the poppyseed dressing, or the angry tri tip. I have to say the fig jam on the sweet bird is SO good, and I've heard glowing reviews for the harvest apple salad. And the sweets? Stopped by Boo Boo Bean Bakery today. Got some cupcakes and coffee cake and a sugar cookie. They only had a chocolate and vanilla cupcake. Got one of each. They were decorated for Valentine's Day. They tasted like something from a Walmart or any grocery store. Not like a fresh bakery cupcake. The cookie was good but nothing special. Coffee cake also not that great. Price was reasonable for a bakery but not worth what we received. Staff friendly but the quality of the product just not there.
