If there was a spot that perfectly emulates the cheese like the pizza from the "All Dogs go to Heaven" movie it is this place. Can't remember the exact name but it had Parmesan and mozzarella cheese with black truffle. We added some pepperonis and mushrooms. So so good! Service was great and fast. I've been here twice over a one year span and its been a great experience both times. The pepperoni on the Eat My Shorts has an extra spicy kick to it. I loved the caprese skewers so that it was easier to eat without utensils. The dessert pizza of nutella, toasted marshmallows, and diced strawberry and basil is great way to finish the meal. We had pizza and beer tonight at Boombox Pizza. It's near our hotel so thought we'd give it a try. Not busy so we sat down and server was nice and offered samples of the draft beers they offer. We made a beer selection and ordered the Donatello pizza. Came out fast and was really good, thin crispy crust with nice toppings. According to the owner, the dough and pizza is frozen so they are unable to accommodate so don't ask little requests like these. Instead hop a few blocks over for some real authentic affordable pizza. Who ends Costco (school district food) . It's a great spot for adults and ok for kids too, but it's mainly a bar/pizza joint. Their soda machine was not working when we were there and they don't have sweet tea...so my kids ordered lemonade and the bartender made them lemonade! That was cool. The pizza was good, and I'd like to go back to try some of the other menu items. We ordered the OG (which is a cheese pie) and the So Fresh (like a Margherita pie). Both were good. Pizza was actually good and love the vibe of the place. Great atmosphere. Staff seemed nice but not overly friendly or inviting. Maybe opening gitters. The bar upstairs is very nice but seems to have a very rigid dress code policy. I would love to go there and chill after work but the dress code for happy hour seems unnecessary. I think this may deter happy hour drinkers. The place is worth trying. No signage outdoors do look for the Toro restaurant, it's next door. Good luck guys read more

Boombox Pizza Bar is the perfect lunch spot for a chill Tuesday afternoon. My stink and I arrived around 1 PM and had the entire retro-themed restaurant to ourselves. The vibe was fantastic! We decided to go for the "Show Me the Meats" pizza, their take on a classic meat lovers. It came out fresh, piping hot, and packed with flavor. To wash it down, we each got a Mojo Box (basically an adult Capri Sun). I chose the Boomin Mojo Box, while my stink opted for the Tropical. Both were fruity, flavorful, and had just the right balance of alcohol - not too strong, but still fun. Our Waitress was very kind, and she even helped us pick some stuff out! Our total came to around $45 before tip, which felt like a great deal for the quality and experience. If you're planning a visit, definitely eat the pizza fresh - it's best enjoyed hot out of the oven. Reheating it later didn't quite do it justice.
