I cannot stress enough how nice it is when you're greeted by staff that are genuinely appreciative to have your business. That's how it was for us. Door opened for us and we were welcomed and seated immediately. Service 10/10 the whole visit I'm a very picky pizza person and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza here. The crust and quality of the toppings were spot on. The vibe of the place is definitely one of what could be a "hangout" spot to have some good pizza/wings, a cold beer and just chill. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which was absolutely amazing. The pizza was very yummy and tasty. The only downside was that it wasn't as crunchy as I would have liked, but the flavor made up for it. We also had a side of buffalo wings. They only offer bone-in wings, which I thought were very good. Overall, I was really pleased with the meal and would definitely recommend Tank's Pizza for its delicious food Service wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. We went around 1pm and it wasn't as lively as it probably would've been around 5pm. We noticed they have an outside area for those who like you eat outside.

Black owned pizza restaurant located on the east side of San Antonio. Great seating located inside and outside for patrons to enjoy the meal. They have a nice open bar to order drinks. Food comes out on time, fresh and hot. Great music and vibes playing in the background. Definitely can watch all the different sports. They have TVs located inside and outside. Definitely centrally located on N. New Braunfels Ave. on the east side. Delicious pizza and great wings. You can't beat that.

Locally owned and supports our military and veterans... Lovely! Especially knowing the background - The location of the establishment is not the best nor would it attract your attention to stop. It's on the corner of a busy street and the outside looks questionable. THOUGH, don't be fooled by its appearance. The moment you walk in, you are greeted. Immediately after sitting, the server came to get our beverage order. The owner's wife came to take our order. She was courteous and professional. Our order didn't take long. The Caesar salad was delicious. Our wings crispy as requested- YUM! Pizza tasted just like you make it at home. My kids loved it. I highly recommend you give it a shot.

Came here on a Friday night after coming from Elsewhere and was heading back home for the night. This place was located right near our air bnb, so we gave it a shot. It's very much a neighborhood pizza spot.... so no frills. There were a few people seated and seemed to be celebrating a birthday. We ordered a large pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni, small fries and a full Cajon wings. The gentleman behind the register was super pilot, friendly, outgoing and courteous. Due to someone there asking for a picture, I can assume he is the owner. Our food took 15 minutes to come our and we headed home to eat. Food- nothing really special to mention. When we got the large box, it looked like a medium.sized box. When we ooened the pizza box, the slices were cut small. The pizza crust was soft and the taste was okay. I'm not from the area and used to pizza in NY and NJ so I dint know how Texas pizza compares. But from the pizza I've had, it was average. Fries were okay and not crispy. The wings seemed to be fried and then seasoned. It was too salty for our palette. Came with a ranch sauce that was good. Service was goid.

Food is always delicious! You can't go wrong with wings and pizza. The customer service is welcoming and the owner always makes us feel like family.

This establishment has a really cool vibe. As the only black owned pizza shop in San Antonio (so says their brochure) it feels like it serves as a community hub for the locals, with comedy shows put on what seems like every week. The service was casual but the employees were friendly and attentive. I got a medium pepperoni and mushroom (I wanted some leftovers) and my partner got a personal cheese which was actually a really good portion. Crust was crisp yet chewy and the cheese blend worked really well. Would recommend a visit on one of the nights with a show.

Great Food and service with Live Entertainment. What else can you ask for? Our server was great, polite, and made great suggestions for the menu items. Had the meat pizza and 2 flavors of the wings. All were really good. Surprised this place wasn't packed! My new go-to spot for Pizza and Wings! The price was decent too!! Please don't increase your prices!!

    Cheese pizza with pepperoni's.

I typically don't leave a review, but this needs it. I ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni along with mozzarella sticks. I showed up and the parking was insane as I was unaware there was a full bar and outside area. When I walked in, it was super busy. I waited in line to be attended, I was told pizza wasn't ready. I got a text saying my order was ready so I went back to the counter. The girl was attending someone else when she was done I thought she would ask how she could help, but didn't. She kept walking so I flagged her and asked about my order. She said it wasn't ready despite the text I received. Shortly after that she called my name cause the order was finally ready. I drove home, got there and opened the box and the pizza looked decent. I finally take a bite and the cheese tasted old. I took my mozzarella stick and dipped to marinara sauce and the sauce tasted old as well. This was my second time trying it and was not impressed. I was trying to support a local business, but I definitely will not be back. Wishing this business plenty success and hope they can make it better for future customers.

This pizza is good!!! Really enjoyed every bite down to the crust. We went simple and ordered the large stone cheese pizza. It's crazy how regular cheese pizza is but can taste different at different places. This cheese pizza is certainly top tier. Also what's top tier is the service, very welcoming and friendly. This is a nice local black owned spot that looks to support the community with good food and fun. Thank you for being a great asset for San Antonio!! Large stone cheese pizza Pepsi products

The first night I was greeted by a friendly host and sat at the bar, where Billy took great care of me. He recommended the Cotto e Salsiccia, and I'm so glad he did. It was easily one of the best pizzas I've had. While I was there, the cheesemaker let me try a bite of the fresh mozzarella they were making in-house. It was still warm and absolutely delicious. The next night I was feeling a little homesick after being away for work, and all I could think about was that pizza. I walked back in and the host greeted me by name. I sat at the bar again, where another bartender remembered me from the night before, and Billy came over just to say hi. It seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling alone, being welcomed back like that can completely change your evening. What really impressed me was seeing that it wasn't just me. The guy next to me ordered two pizzas to go, and when the chef brought them out he smiled and said, "Oh, Jose! I thought this order looked familiar!" You can tell they actually know their regulars and genuinely enjoy what they do. The second night I ordered the Fontina e Salsiccia, and somehow it was just as good as the first pizza. Everything is cooked in the wood-fired oven--even the wings--and you can taste the difference. The crust has that perfect char, the ingredients are fresh, and it's the kind of authentic Neapolitan pizza that keeps you thinking about it long after you've left. I've eaten at a lot of good restaurants while traveling, but very few have made me feel as welcome as Dough did. Great food is one thing. Great people are what made me come back the very next day. I'll absolutely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

I can see a child burning their hand terribly on this! What did the restaurant do? Nothing... several times we suggested something be done and not until the manager realized that yes, this is a problem did he do something remotely responsible. I couldn't enjoy the food! I was upset? Hurting and taken back by the terrible way they handled the situation. For reference, I'll show you the picture with the barrier.

Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.
