Everyone was so nice, the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. It's the perfect family atmosphere to come hang out, watch games, eat and drink! They have a ton of space. A lot of awesome outdoor areas to enjoy the Texas weather. They have a outside bar top with a fire pit. So many tvs. You will not have a problem watching a game! The employees were all so nice. We started with a few appetizers and the kitchen's timing with getting appetizers out with the meal shortly beyond was awesome. Arrived around 6pm on a Tuesday. Hostess was nice and escorted me to the back wall in the center of the building, offered me standard table or booth and let me know the menus were online due to covid. Said my server would be Steven. Waited a few minutes and a young man approached asking if I'd been helped yet. He explained he would find my server and bring me a beverage which he seemed to do. Steven approached, stood uncomfortably close to me and wrote everything down clearly in his book on the table verbally telling me he writes every word down. I asked for a loaded cheese fry and told him what kind of beverage his coworker had brought for me. That was at 6:07pm. My sister arrived to join me shortly after. At 6:38 a waitress stopped by asking if she would like a drink and if anyone had been back by. Shortly after, a manager approached, apologized and offered the fries on the house telling us they were not put into the computer. I hadn't seen Steven since. We got the fries and they were tasty. The third member of our party showed up and didnt receive a visit or drink upon arrival. The same female server stopped by again asking if he had been helped and we said no. She said she would find out what's going on. We waited and waited. No one. My sister went off to find someone to give her a to go box for the fries and we decided not to bother ordering our entrees or to go orders. I needed to order about $100+ worth of food to go and I really wanted to try the desserts. Took my business elsewhere because I had to get home. It was like the twilight zone. While the staff was friendly, there was something odd happening here. This was my first visit and sadly, it will be my last. Very weird. I thought maybe it's a covid thing but their patio and bar seemed to be bustling and functional. Perhaps this is mostly just a place for drinking. There's a lot of TVs. We ordered online and picked it up. When we got home we realized that not only did they give us the wrong burgers but all of the burgers were raw. Also, the quesadillas were so dry they didn't stay together and the chicken fingers were fried bread, almost no meat in them. We called to get the orders remade. When we arrived we checked the orders to see they were wrong again. You would think if you serve someone raw food they would make sure to fix their mistake. This place is a mess. We ordered 3 separate times to-go. Every time the order has been wrong. You go into the restaurant and no one is taking precautions for the current pandemic. Masks are work below the nose by those working there at best. The food was not only wrong but the soup was not good, the burger was not good, the fries were hard. Came in with the family. The food was ok, nothing special. There's TVs everywhere so this would be a good place for sports watching. The drink specials were great, I loved the variety will definitely return for a drink. I was bothered by the fact there was several servers in the restroom making it hard to enter (it would also explain the unbelievably slow service). My husband and I have been here a couple times since this new location opened in Fairview. The service is EXCELLENT, food is great and the atmosphere and prices are great too. Happy hour all's day? I'll take it. Today we had $3 Sol bottles. The bartender, Ethan, actually acted like he was happy to see us and greeted us right when we came in even though the bar was packed. We usually only get that at bars we go to regularly. It feels good to be waited on attentively. I feel like so many new places we go to have struggling or unacknowledging bartenders so it was nice to feel like we had someone paying attention to our needs. Decided to try this place after driving by it a few times. It kind of left me underwhelmed. It's a pretty standard sports oriented bar and grill. They had a lot of taps but none of the beers can reasonably be considered craft. Just the basic big brewery stuff. Lots of TVs showing games of the day and the ubiquitous Chive TV. The food was ok. It was hopeful for the Nashville chicken sandwich and while it tasted ok it was a complete mess to eat. It was an entire chicken breast on a regular hamburger bun which means most of the chicken which was soaked in sauce hung out of the bun. This meant getting both hands completely covered and a complete mess. If I'd wanted to get my hands soaked I'd have ordered the wings. Either use 1/2 a chicken breast or serve it open faced. As for the service it was a little odd. It didn't seem to be especially busy. We were seated right a way and there were some open tables but it seemed to take quite a while for the food to arrive. And the waiter. Too much cologne. Way too much. And while he was trying to be polite he was way, way to fast. Two or three time I couldn't get his attention because he was just not paying attention. I know this can happen sometimes when it's busy but NOT when he's standing right there. It's like "I'm here to give you the the check and thats all I'm going to do on this visit". Maybe new. I love this place and the happy hour! Tonight we went to sit on the patio after a long week. One of the servers on the patio had brought her dog to work (or maybe had someone else drop it off?) and was allowing it to roam freely amongst tables. The normally chilly atmosphere that we are used to was interrupted by constant shouts from this server directed at her semi-trained dog. I honestly felt bad for the pup that seemed overwhelmed and unsure of how to act in the environment. I understand that this is a dog friendly restaurant and I love that, but a half-watched, ill-trained dog is different from a customers animal. I question #1 how sanitary it is to be petting your animal while serving tables and #2 how this was allowed to continue for over an hour by management? read more

First time that I have been there. Was seated by the kitchen door, by the emotionless hostess. Which can be understandable. The only trouble with that is that I stared at the wall and had no real angle to the "wall to wall" TVs. We ordered, and my wife asked to make an adjustment to her dish. The waitress said "absolutely ", but then when it came it wasn't what she asked for. When that was seen the response was something like "they didn't adjust it did they?" Literally that was it and no attempt to rectify it. My wife received no refill of her water and I received one refill of my tea (after a long while if it being empty). When the waitress brought the check she almost walked past us and literally said "I almost walk past y'all". We've been anticipating visiting Boomer Jacks and yesterday was our first visit since they opened. Numerous friends have said it was a very good establishment so here you go. We arrived around 4:00 on MLK Holiday and were greeted by a very nice hostess and was seated immediately. Our Server was Taylor and again she realized it was our first visit and spent extra time explaining their menu and gave us some really Good recommendations. For appetizers we ordered the Fried Pickles, we asked for extra crispy and when they arrived they were cooked perfectly. (Probably best we've ever had). For our entree's, I ordered the Hand Battered Chicken Tenders with Fries and my Wife ordered the Pesto Chicken melt sandwich with Fries. I was very pleased with the HUGE number of tenders that came with the order. The Hand cut Fries were a pleasant surprise as well. The Tenders and the Fries were both Cooked perfectly. Both were some of the best I've ever eaten. My Wife's Pesto Chicken melt was very good and was one of the best variations of a Sandwich she's had in a long time. The service we received from Taylor was outstanding! We will definitely ask for her area on our next visit! The Restaurants Manager, Jeff stopped by to check on us and made us feel very welcome and appreciated. Boomer Jacks is Definitely worth your visit.
