Having had pizza just a day or two ago I decided to scratch my itch for a Chicago dog. This one was pretty good. I am a purist for the Chicago dog, having lived in the area for a short time. This one is spot on. It's exactly everything that it should be; nothing more and nothing less. If there's a better Chicago dog in the KC Metro, I don't know about it. In my opinion, the Polish sausage with sauerkraut is not only the best deal on the menu, but it is absolutely perfect! They asked me if I wanted a spicy mustard on it and of course that is an automatic yes. The sausage itself was beefy and substantial, and the kraut was excellent and just the right amount. Plenty to taste, but not falling off. Having seen others, enjoying their pizza and Italian beef, I will absolutely return to try at least the beef. Buona in Chicago is my favorite so I look forward to seeing how this stacks up.

It's authentic NYC style pizza through and through. Expect thin slices you can fold. You can order whole pies, individual slices, drinks and salads. Seating is mixed with tables, booths and bar seating. I've seen a mix of people, including families eat here. Probably because it's wallet friendly for individuals and small groups. It kinda reminds me of a 70s/80s style pizza tavern of yore. You order up at the counter and wait for food to be delivered. The guys working are super friendly. My favorites are cheese slices and the P.H.H.P. (Pepperoni, Hot Honey and Jalapeno.) Their Caesar salad is bangin' too. If you dine in, make sure to get your utensils and water at the service station. My *only* small criticism is that I wish their crust were a bit more salted. The texture is great! I'll be back sooner rather than later!
