I took my family here for my mother's birthday, and it was wonderful. Ben was our waiter and he handled everything with grace. My friend made reservations and when we arrived, they were not anywhere near prepared for us but despite that little hiccup, the rest of the evening was great! The staff was very attentive to us. Within minutes of us being seated, our drink and appetizer orders were taken and came out to us quickly. Everything was on point! Drinks were delicious and the appetizers were hot and very fresh. Unfortunately, it started raining and we had to move inside but the staff got us in and re-seated fast. We had a spread of entrees from pastas to pizzas to bowls and again Everything was hot and fresh. Some dishes were slightly under seasoned but nothing major. I was there on Sunday for brunch and my server Raelene took such good care of us! She recommended their new matcha and desserts even said to "eat them with our eyes" which I thought was both clever and funny! I love when servers actually know their menu! Having been a server for years, I usually never go to a restaurant when I am on a strict time crunch and need to be out by a certain time. However, my parents wanted to check this place out and despite my better judgement we came in at 625 needing to leave by 725 to make it to the Hollywood Improv for a comedy show. We were seated immediately and given great service and more within the time frame and made the show on time! The portions are gigantic! I got the shrimp plate that comes with your choice of 3 sides. I went with sweet potato fries, mashed potato and grilled veggies. The potato could have used some sauce or something to liven them up but they were still tasty. The veggies were a little cold but mixed with the pico were a good compliment. The service was quick and I was surprised to learn this location is relatively new. There was only one server on that we could see (12/23 if the owner ever reads this) and he handled the place like a champ with the food runners. read more

Tourism is down and that hurts the Sunset Strip especially. I've been a fan since they were located on Robertson. We order takeout often, sometimes a couple times in a week and it has been so consistent. The food is flavorful, tasty and well-packaged and the portion sizes are big. Definitely worth a try. The protein selection is Super, and you can add protein to many of the bowls which have incredible grain mixes and a multitude of vegetables. Broccoli, beets, carrots, plantains .....And they offer a side of the vegetables in a variety of cooked methods: steamed, roasted, baked, etc. As for the desserts, their bakery is superb. They have a gluten-free yucca cake and if you love a moist and gooey cake, you will absolutely love this. This dude gave us cold Cabernet. Like why is it even being kept somewhere cold? The beef stroganoff which is the love of my life tasted terrible. I don't think they used any salt?! Just so bland and boring. It hurt my feelings for real. Even the mash potatoes were boring. Plantains were good I'll give them that.
