This place told us at first that our order was taken by someone else and if we wanted to wait an additional 20 minutes they could remake our food. I then call to speak with the manager to find out they actually threw our food away because we "took too long". Then to make things worse the manager was argumentative with me and wouldn't stop speaking over me to explain why ai was upset. Very unprofessional! Do not order from here! Went here a couple of times. First with a girlfriend, and second time it was four of us, hubby and myself, and two coworkers. The food was OK, nothing I can't eat somewhere else. The price is somewhat bordering a bit too high for the quality of food. It's just a bunch of fried food with a side of fried food, and more fried food. There is so much fried food in this place it's crazy. The drinks make up for the lack of variety of foods. The first time my friend and I sat at the bar. I have to say, the bartender was very attentive, but I can't tell if it's because he liked us or because he was trying to make more money. Hehe! He did give us a couple of free shots, which we took gladly. :-) He also gave my friend his number and told her to call him for "anything" she needs. That made our evening, for sure. Made her happy, ha! The second time I was there I ordered a margarita. I have to say I was disappointed in how sweet it was. Granted, there are people who can handle eating sugar by the jar in our society, but I just can't handle that much sugar in my drinks. And I've had margaritas before that we not THAT sweet, hence the 3 stars. I actually asked hubby to get me a couple of shots of tequila to dilute the margarita. Which he appreciated later. ;-) Overall, good place to hang out. The big downside is that they close at 10 on Friday! ???? Really? Most of us who work and do not go out during the week look forward to our Friday evenings. I feel like it was cut short by all the busboys turning all the chairs upside down on the tables. C'mon! It's Friday for goodness sake. Push it to 12 am for those of us who have only Fridays off for a little bit of fun, plus it helps you extend the money making time. I do wish that they had someone serving the tables. At least for the drinks, if not with the food. Once you get your food you are done. You want extra sauce? Go get it. You want a drink? Get up and get it yourself. Anything else? Tough. Deal with no service at the tables. For the price you pay for the food, in my opinion they should be weighting tables as well. read more

I went in today with a couple of my co-workers & was not very impressed with both the food or the service. I was craving crawfish which I had ordered a medium plate. What wasn't explained to me before ordering was that they don't serve boiled crawfish during the week. I was saved a plate of fried crawfish which I did not want. The sides that I wanted were sausage and potatoes. Well, in my pictures posted...the "sausage" looks like bacon bits and cut up bits of three potatoes. I guess that's what $1.50 gets you. Was not impressed with the whole dish entirely. My co-worker was not impressed by the "friendliness" of the cashier/server. Needless to say, this will be our first and last visit here. read more

This place has really gone down. I haven't been in years. Ordered delivery the other day and got seafood gumbo, pasta jambalaya and fried shrimp. The sausage and chicken in the jambalaya were so overcooked they were too tough to eat. My "seafood" gumbo had a total of two shrimp in it and when I bit into one it was completely mushy. The only thing that was eaten out of all this mess was the shrimp and how hard is it to fry shrimp. So disappointed and such a waste of money. read more

The chicken in the jambalaya was dry and the jambalaya as a whole was room temp. Crab cakes were different, not in a bad just not what I would consider a crab cake. Shrimp fondue was okay, but it was better when there was broccoli and crawfish. Toast was not toasted, quite soft for being toast. Fish beinvelle was good, but not the best. Came in and ordered some crawfish etoufee to go . It came served over dirty rice . It was good , nothing special . Customer service was bad when I walked in the white chick working the counter was on her phone the entire time . Not acknowledging customers as they came in to order . She seemed annoyed like we were interrupting her conversation mind you she supposed to be working . I ordered the Fish Bienville and it was gross. The entire plate was texturally displeasing. Everything was soft as if it were meant for a baby without any teeth. It was so displeasing that I had to spit it out. I am usually able to stomach all foods but this was not palatable. My boyfriend got the Seafood Sampler and he said the best thing on the plate were the fries. We spent almost $50 here and I'm tempted to dispute it with my credit card company it was so bad. Google's reviews gave it 4.1 stars and I wish I would have checked Yelp and saw that it had a 3 star review. It doesn't deserve anything near 3. Save your money and time and go elsewhere. read more

We've been to several Boudreaux's over the years despite not living near one. We always like the food and atmosphere. Be aware, certain locations can become very non-family friendly on the weekends after hours. This particular night my wife wanted crawfish again and we were in the neighborhood. At the last minute she decided on a fish po-boy instead. Good thing, because the crawfish looked "tiny and hard". Not good qualities for mud bugs but it is early in the season. She loved her po-boy sandwich, however. I had the chicken strip salad which was delicious but maybe a little non-satisfying. Maybe if the dish was a little deeper or the lettuce more densely packed? We had an order of buffalo wings, also. They were good but nothing special. Certainly not spicy. We finished with the sweet potato bread pudding. My wife couldn't eat it all but she sure tried. WOW! First time here I WILL be back! I had the fish topped with crab cakes, it had fried capers that went so well with the flavor of the fish! It was a bit salty the capers helped with that as well but still delusions and I would order it again. My daughter had the grits and shrimp holly cow! I Togo boxed half my fish to eat a few bites of hers it was possibly my favorite choice of the day. The grits were cooked with smoked Gouda cheese pressed together in a triangle shape then fried. They topped that with tastes shrimp in this heaven sent gravy type sauce!!! If you only try one thing try this! I can't wait to come back! With food this good who cares about service! So I called in my order and was told it would be ready in fifteen minutes. Well that was beyond the truth if I ever hearD. Half of my order was ready and I had to wait fifteen minutes for the food I order 30 minutes ago. And then they tried to give me food that had bEen sitting out for at least 10 minutes whilE I waited. Came here for lunch last week. Excellent size building, great location. The staff is pretty young and their service skills are a little below average. They have some good ass gumbo for a restaurant! And believe me, I was born and raised in Louisiana so I know good gumbo. I tried the shrimp po-boy but the shrimp weren't really cooked fully so I couldn't finish it. If you're looking for good seafood, this is NOT the place! However, if you're looking for fried frozen fish with poop filled shrimp then this is the place! I'm a total fan of Boudreaux's and love the Woodridge location but this location is not the same. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo and a kids shrimp plate. Buzzer went off, I walked up and the guy handed me my tray. As I'm walked away, I noticed I only had 2 shrimp on my combo plate. I finished walking to my table and handed off the kids plate and walked back to the counter and asked if I supposed to have 5 shrimp. Sweet young lady says yes and took my plate from me and proceeded to walk to the back. Came back with my plate and said "the guy said he didn't expect you to walk away." I thought I myself, what were you going to do with my shrimp, eat them?!?! When I got back to the table, I noticed the kids shrimp had not been deveined and parts of that were fried too. my fried fish looked like it was frozen when they fried it. If customer service is something that matters to you do not come here. Especially if LEXI is at the register. She seems to be miserable at her job and she wants all the customers to feel the same way. At least that's the impression I got while placing our order to go. I was at the Boudreaux @Willowbrook with family and friends and I must say the food was amazing. The chicken breast W/ mash potatoes and green beans made me feel like I was back home eating my grandmother's cooking. Anthony the Bartender was on point with our order and the drinks will get you right with their $2 specials.. The Manager Felix even came out to greet everyone and made sure we were all enjoying ourselves. They really made us feel welcomed. I will definitely be back Thursday and next Monday. What I won't discuss are the parents that allowed their children to run around like rabid monkeys, because that's probably the only thing this staff didn't have control over. What I will talk about is how on Mardi Gras night, they were I'll prepared and acted like they'd rather be anywhere else than at work being professional. You'd think being a "Cajun Kitchen" in Houston, they'd have this Mardi Gras thing down. Nope. Everything I asked for on the menu they didn't have. This is disheartening since I have dietary restrictions, and most of their menu is rice, breaded and fried. Finally settled on shrimp and grits. The area to pour drinks has no straws, no lemon. We try and flag down the busser to please clean one of the tables, but because we want to sit in the bar, he refuses to help us, telling us it's the bartenders responsibility. She completely ignores us. Finally someone comes over and clears a table, to which the bartender FINALLY comes and starts cleaning other tables after we're already seated. To add insult to injury, I was the first person to order...and never received my food. People are halfway done eating, and I finally have to ask where is my meal...it was NEVER MADE. At that point, I'm irritated and asking for my money back, the cook wants to throw my food together, talking about give me a minute. No way. The manager refunds me, but still hands me this soggy goulash that was tossed together to take home...that's not even shrimp and grits! read more

Really looked forward to the meal tonight. Granted it's quarantine time so my expectations were lower than normal so here's my take on dinner tonight. I ordered the seafood platter to-go with a $6 hurricane. Sounds great until I got there to pick it up. Directions on the website as well as confirmation email specifically say to call when you get there and the order will be delivered to the car. Followed directions and was told to "Come in if I wanted my order" (rude but hey, let's give them a break, you know, quarantine and all). Waited 10 minutes past my pickup time for my order inside. Once I received the order I realize that my $6 hurricane is going home with me in a 6oz. Styrofoam cup. It was a ridiculous 6 oz. cup! I laughed about it and moved on. But look! Dinner was not tasty. So disappointing. Everything about this experience tonight was just poor. This place is all hype. There are several other really good Cajun places nearby so I will just go there in the future. Definitely will not be back. Got 2 stars because the 6oz. Hurricane was pretty good. read more

Hate that when you walk in you have to place your order then find a seat but the food was excellent. The atmosphere was very club like, lots of traffic, very noisy considering how I came with my family on a Thursday night. Customer service is practically none existent but the cashier who took my order recommended the seafood pasta and it was delicious! My kids grilled chicken and fries was delicious as well. My fiancé wouldn't share his stuffed chicken so I'm assuming it was excellent. I would definitely come back again as long as the food doesn't start slacking. read more

I talked to the manager about this, he replied rudely the other door will remain locked at all times. Make sure you are sit by the front door in case there is a fire, so you can escape safely. Wow!!! This place was unbelievably HORRIBLE!!! No customer service at all! I swear everyone in there hates there job! Rude girls that don't speak! MANAGER is clueless what drinks they are serving! This place wasn't what I was expecting when I searched for cajun food. It is more of a chain style restaurant than a cajuny place. Still on the lookout for good cajun food especially crawfish etouffe. It's hard to find the good stuff that exists in Louisana....mmmm crawfish etouffe.
