I stopped into Boulevard for brunch and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. The standout of the meal was definitely the breakfast potatoes. Honestly some of the most delicious I've ever had. Perfectly crispy, well-seasoned, and absolutely addictive. I ordered the Eggs Sardou and was hoping for a bit more. The dish itself was fine, but the "creamed spinach" lacked flavor and didn't add much to the overall plate. The bottomless mimosas were on the slower side to arrive, but still a fun and necessary touch for a vacation brunch. Despite a couple of misses, Boulevard delivered some truly memorable bites, and I'd come back for those potatoes alone.

I love a good bottomless brunch & Boulevard didn't disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is beautiful and service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the lemon blueberry pancakes and traditional breakfast. Mimosas or bloody Mary's are $17 unlimited with purchase of an entree.

Came here on a Thursday for lunch and there were some other people dining there. The service was sooo slow. The power lunch special is $22.50 and includes a salad, sandwich, and side. Is it worth it? Maybe. It was good but nothing really stood out. I'd come back but wouldn't be something I particularly craved. The quantity of food was filling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience: not too noisy. Was able to hold conversations without yelling[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Parking: paid street parking [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bathroom was clean and has the nice cloth-like paper towel[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by inviting interior lighting and a bar and grill positioned at the center of the floor plan.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is delicious, and the small bites are even better. I forgot to take a photo of my main course, but I highly recommend the short ribs. Street parking is available outside. Service is A-1.

I came here and caught the tail end of happy hour which was great! I got the tuna nachos, lemon drop and espresso martini. Everything was great. For my entree I wanted the Hawaiian steak with a baked potato but I was told they didn't get any potatoes in their order so no baked or mashed potatoes were available. I didn't end up getting anything except another cocktail which was made very well lol. I'll be back and hopefully I can try the entree

Love love love this new Boulevard location. I went for the first for a lunch meeting and they did not disappoint. When you want solid American Bistro style meals, this is your spot. As in all locations, the front door greeting was excellent, we were sat immediately and had drinks within minutes. The waiter was fun, polite and professional as was all the staff. We split the club salad and a burger. Both were delicious. The tempura style fried chicken on the salad was so crispy and flavorful. The burger was cooked to medium perfection and the fries were crispy and hot. Of course we share the spinach dip, always a favorite. I enjoyed the atmosphere. It's comfortable, private enough for a good work or personal conversation but lively enough to feel casual and fun. Will be back to this one!

Coming here on Christmas Day, we weren't sure what to expect, but Boulevard did not disappoint! We had the margarita martini, barbecue gulf shrimp, and vegetable platter, and ended the night with the Kahlua walnut brownie with ice cream. The drink was great but I'm going to focus on the food because that was the highlight of this dinner: - Barbecue gulf shrimp: 5/5; I will be dreaming about the grilled shrimp and toast for a while! The barbecue sauce was phenomenal and the shrimp was perfectly grilled. - Vegetarian platter: 5/5; this was a sampler of peanut-kale salad, rice and black beans, and purple cabbage. All were flavorful and filling! - Walnut and Kahlua brownie with ice cream: 2/5; the brownie wasn't warm and felt slightly underbaked. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavors and didn't feel it was sweet enough. I think the brownie would pair better with a vanilla bean or stronger vanilla ice cream because the ice cream lacked flavor. Overall, this was one of my favorite meals while visiting NOLA and I would recommend it to anyone. Would come back!

I've never been to this boulevard location, but I follow them on Instagram. I saw this event and decided to go with my cousins. It started for 6 and I believe we arrived around 7:15. The restaurant was pretty packed for a Thursday but this event was held in a side room with a bar. There were some Christmas decorations, a Photo Booth, and a dj. It was pretty packed in that room as well and there were only 3 bartenders. It took about 15 mins before we were able to put in our drink and food orders. We ordered 2 lemon drops and a snow cap. Also ordered the Caesar salad with chicken and the fried oysters that come on creamed spinach. When our drinks arrived, we were disappointed as they did not come in a martini glass. They gave it to us in a plastic cup which threw me off. There were other people who ordered lemon drops and received it in a Christmas ornament with a martini glass so I'm not sure why our drinks were different. I've attached a pic of what the snow cap was supposed to look like vs the drink I received. There were only 3 bartenders and I believe a 4th person was needed. There was another lady who would bring the food and try to pick up the dirty dishes, but there were some dishes that sat on the counter for 15 minutes +. Our food was took 35 minutes to come out and it was just an appetizer and a salad, not even an entree. Then when it came out my oysters were cold. I've had them at other locations before and enjoyed it so I was disappointed. My cousins said the Caesar salad was fine. I think with another bartender/ server and someone washing/collecting the martini glasses (so the drinks won't come in a plastic cup) this event could be a 4/5 or even a 5/5 as the dj played good music and it was fun to take pics at the Photo Booth.

Visited on Valentine's Day so I saved my appetite for dinner. We chose the BBQ shrimp as an appetizer. The shrimp were huge but sometimes, to me, shrimp have a gummy/rubbery texture & I'm not a fan of them. I was kind of let down when I received my entree which was the stuffed redfish with cauliflower as my side. When the server brung my plate I could instantly smell a strong fishy smell. At first I thought it could have been the cauliflower but I kept getting a wiff of this unpleasant smell. I asked my partner to see if I was mistaking or not but he agreed that something smelled off. So once I told the waiter, he offered me to exchange of something with no problem. I chose the crabcake and kale salad which was very delicious. The dressing on the salad was good also. I was a little upset because my appetite was a little ruined so I took my food to go and ate it the next day. On the other hand, my partner ordered the sealed pasta with a crispy crabcake on top & it was very yummy. And of course I had two lemon drops & they were great as always.

I grew up, going to the location on veterans, now that they've opened up one in the city, I've been coming here about once a month or so with friends or family. Love the oysters, spinach, artichoke dip, and I haven't tried all the new additions, but I see they have changed the menu and added some new things at this location, not sure if they have those options at the other locations or if they are just at this one, but They do look pretty tasty. I really love the veggie burger here, it's probably one of my favorites in the city, it's a bean and rice patty, but I really enjoy the texture as opposed to places that serve things like the beyond burger. The desserts are to die for, I have tried them all, and loved them all, one new thing they added at this location was the beat and goat cheese salad, that is one of the new additions that I have tried, and it is incredible! It has candied, walnuts, tomatoes, mixed greens, beets, and goat cheese, and avocado at the bottom, and I think it has the herb vinaigrette dressing that comes with it. But I don't quite remember as it's been a few months since I've had it. Food quality is usually pretty good for me, but I mainly order the vegetarian options. When I've come with friends, it's usually good, but sometimes can be hit or miss when it comes to the meat quality/cook of certain dishes they like to order. Service is usually pretty good, but given it's a new restaurant, sometimes you make it a relatively new server who is still figuring things out. Really hope this place makes it, as it's in a really convenient location!

Rich, layered, and well-balanced with fresh elements that worked together on the plate. For entrées, we had a variety of cuts, including the Australian Wagyu, ribeye, butcher's cut, and lamb chops. The Wagyu stood out immediately. High quality, great sear, and finished tableside, which added to the overall experience without taking away from the food itself. Each steak was cooked precisely to temperature and full of flavor. The lamb chops paired with carrots and brussels were well executed and balanced. The sides complemented the meal well and did not feel like afterthoughts. You can also see their in-house dry aging setup, which speaks to the level of detail they put into their steak program. It shows in the final product. The drinks were solid across the board. The Old Fashioned and bourbon selections paired well with the meal and matched the food's quality. Service by Noelle was attentive and responsive throughout the night. Everything flowed well, and we were taken care of without feeling rushed or hovered over. Overall, the experience was average and did not fully meet those expectations. The charcuterie and cheese board, priced at $68, was underwhelming in both portion size and value. It included only six thin slices of cured meat and a small selection of cheeses. Unfortunately, one of the cheeses had an unpleasant flavor that made it inedible for our table. The bread service was a highlight, offering a nice variety of breads and accompaniments. The ribeye was cooked well and enjoyable, but it did not stand out from what I've experienced at other upscale steakhouses. The five-cheese couscous was the biggest disappointment, as it lacked the rich, flavorful profile its description suggested. While the service and presentation were appreciated, the overall dining experience did not justify the high expectations or the price point.

There are security cameras all over the bar so this location can remain sex-positive and safe for guests. After ordering myself a drink, I chose to relax in their bright pink room with the large bean bag and teddy bear. This was my favorite spot for its light-hearted and playful atmosphere, although the room next to it was pretty exciting as well--with its black-and-white paintings of kinky exhibitionists. It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.

The host was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our server and helpers were over quickly to drop off waters and greet us. I ended up ordered the salmon. With it being so early and only one or 2 other tables besides my friend and me, the food did take longer to come out than I expected it to. Both of us did thoroughly enjoy what we got. The salmon was crispy on the outside with a nice sauce over it. We thought we'd have time to get dessert so we ordered a couple but that too took a very long time. We finally waved down our server to cancel and get the check since we had to be somewhere and he apologized and said their WiFi was going in and out so it could be that it was registering on the kitchen side. That may have explained why our entrees took too long. If it wasn't for the service and the food being great - I would not be thrilled about timing. We got there around 5:30p and had to leave by 7:15p so an almost 2 hours experience that probably could have been 1 hour.

We started with the bottomless mimosas, which were only $25 and absolutely worth it. For appetizers, we ordered the corn and crawfish bisque and the Louisiana crawfish beignets. Those beignets were so good--OMG! I would honestly go back just for them. They were packed with flavorful crawfish and cooked perfectly. For my entrée, I had the steak and eggs and substituted the sunny-side-up eggs for scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious, and the steak was cooked just right. The atmosphere was fantastic as well. The music kept the vibes going the entire time, and they definitely know how to do brunch. Even the bathroom was stunning! Between the food, drinks, ambiance, and service, we had an amazing experience and will definitely be back.

Looking around, the place was so pretty and green, with a lot of natural lighting due to there being many windows and open doors. Once we sat our waiter came and once he heard it was our first time there, he instantly offered recommendations to us and gave us plenty of time to order. I ordered the Cubano sandwhich, crawfish beignets, and regular beignets. Everything was so good! The sandwhich came with fries as part of the order and they were crispy to perfection. The crawfish beignets are more like hush puppies though so keep that in mind! The regular beignets had a good flasky crust to them and were so pillowy. I would definitely come back to try their dinner menu!
