Service: You're going to walk into this restaurant and feel like you're the most important customer they've ever had. We were greeted before we ever made it through the door by a gentleman dressed very nicely (with a bow tie!). He took us to our table and immediately took our drink order then explained the specials and answered our questions about some of the items on the menu. Service was genuine, friendly, fast and thorough. Food: first and foremost both our meals were delicious! I love the fact that they came out fast and hot. The pork chops (you get two with your order!) were amazing - juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection, the chef made a sweet potato chutney that was out of this world! The Mac and Cheese was flavorful and the ratio of noodles to cheese was perfect (I love the fact that it was baked on top!). If you select a meal that offers the sweet potatoes as a side dish, trust me, you're not going to wanna miss this opportunity for the best sweet potatoes you've ever had. Both the manager and the chef visited with us for a bit, representing the best in southern hospitality. We felt like we were eating at somebody's home as invited guests versus your typical rushed service. We'll be back on our next visit to New Orleans!

A happy hour that doesn't disappoint! Strong drinks & low prices. Tapas are also tasty. Fun music + lively ambiance, def worth a stop in when strolling Oak st.

Jalapeño chicken wings that tasted like straight vinegar.

We came here with all intentions to enjoy this location. Walked oak street and came up ready to eat and drink. The drinks on the menu out front way $8 margaritas. When the bartender/ runner was asked about the discrepancy once he said that they were $10 he said, "I don't know what they're talking about, the drinks are $10" which is fine.. we came prepared to pay $10 but why is the marketing and the bar not aligning? We then ordered BBQ and the jalapeño wings and both orders tasted like vinegar.. I was just so confused. We saw the chef use his bare hands to place the bun onto someone's slider after it slid to the side (bacon included) and then the bartender touching the fruit from someone's drink with his fingers.. it was just absolutely too much... not a place that I would revisit or recommend. We were glad to see these things take place before we further ordered anything. Plenty of spots to visit in New Orleans.. this is not it.

Food & Service was great! Shout out to the turkey necks & Crawfishka!! Will definitely come back to try more!

Came here during the Nola Miles Club food crawl and had the turkey neck pepper preserve! It was very delicious. Great music playing as well.

Wish the ventilation was a bit better and not a fan of the crawfish corn fritters. Turkey neck was solid but mostly bone

I never knew this place location existed. I wish they would turn the AC up higher. I had a few samples of the food, and it was nice.

I stopped in for Coolinary but will certainly be back (especially as their menu is seasonal and will offer different dishes across the year). Here are some highlights: The space: so warm and cozy! It feels like you're going to a dinner party at your down-to-earth Garden District friend's house. It's not a super large spot so, snag a reservation! The food: flavorful and delicious! The essence is home cooked meals with a refined aesthetic and bold flavors. My favorite of the night was hands down the curry shrimp...bursting with flavor! And truly, the price point is reasonable. The drinks: some of the most unique drink ideas I've seen! I mean, there's a cocktail that's infused with pho! I went with more classic mezcal and cognac drinks, and both were refreshing and strong. Yum! The staff: everyone was soo kind and personable! Our bartender Shannon was super skilled and cool...I highly recommend bar seating, lol. Chef Walker came over to greet us as if we were guests in his home...so cool to hear his story! Mother of Pearl is a total must-visit! But, shhhh...only tell your faves!

The Hits: The Salmon Tartare appetizer was light, fresh, and came with a delicious sweet sauce. If you go for entrees, skip the octopus and get the Birria-Style Lamb instead-my wife ordered it and it was incredible, perfectly savory and falling off the bone. The Misses: The Charred Octopus missed the mark on texture, though the accompanying roasted veggies, potato, and chorizo were seasoned well. Dessert was listed as a Basque Cheesecake, but it was actually a regular cheesecake with a mole drizzle. It was served warm and wasn't sweet at all, which was unexpected. Worth a visit for the lamb and the appetizers, but some elements fell a bit short.

We went with a group of four and wanted to try a bunch of different dishes on the menu. We tried the bao, the oysters, the Arancini, the dumplings, the salmon tartare, and the Cantonese fried rice. The oysters were good, but the sauce was quite flavorful and we couldn't really taste the oyster. The salmon tartare was amazing, and arancini was great. The Cantonese fried rice was a bit overwhelming as well with a lot of sauce. Overall, the vibes were wonderful and would be cute for a date night or friends get together.
