I had a duck dish at charmant and it was great! I especially loved the ginger mock tail that I ordered. I liked the vibe of this place too - it was nice for dinner, but also casual enough too - I came in scubs! Food and service was both great!!

The drinks were good however everything else fell short mostly. The lamb meatballs were ok, the crawfish balls were good, the cod was ok but the smallest piece of fish, the rabbit sausage was surprisingly good. Thr crab dip was lacking crab. Overall, I probably would not return for dinner. They do offer brunch and I am not opposed to returning for that. The service was great and the ambiance was ok until it got dark. The lights were out where we were sitting in the corner and the little candles on the table didnt really do much.

I will have to update this later, as all I had was a delicious Red Sangria at the bar. Charmant is in a space previously inhabited by Mopho. Being a neighbor, I have been anticipating their soft opening. Well, I was late! They opened over a week ago, but, due to a signage delay, look very 'still in the works' from the outside...But they have really brightened up the inside with warm woods, deep blues and white! I was greeted warmly and offered the menus right away. When I expressed worry for not being dressed nicely (I was on a walk) they shushed me and made the point that they are a neighborhood establishment and I should always feel free to show on the go. It is upscaled a bit, but not formal. I think I'd go 'dressed casual' for dinner. Service was casual, kind and attentive. I will be making a reservation for Brunch or Dinner asap. They also brandished a pretty impressive Happy Hour menu with great deals. Go support this Mid-City Jewel!

Wow. Would give this place more than a 5 stars if possible. What an absolute gem-from the atmosphere, food (we ate it so quickly I couldn't get pictures), and SERVICE! You absolutely need to get the mom's crab dip-holy grail of seafood. The roasted cauliflower converted my cauli-hater friend. What really stands out was our server Lorenzo-he treated us like royalty, and really set the scene for the European experience by speaking with us in French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Russian. It's rare I can speak Franglish with someone-and it really felt like you took a jet to Europe. I'm not someone to usually write yelp reviews, but I couldn't keep my praise quiet with this one. Will be back many times!

Good, not great. My dining partner's drink fell short more than once. Food graded B. Will return to reevaluate.

Everything was wonderful. Joanna vinho verde was delicious and I can't find it anywhere. Some nods to Mopho on the menu.

When we arrived, we found plenty of outdoor seating, which was perfect for our group of six. We settled in, grabbed some drinks, and shared chicken wings and nachos while we enjoyed the atmosphere. Ordering food was easy, too. We were able to place our order outside at the kitchen, and they gave us a pager that let us know when our food was ready for pickup. There's also an indoor bar where we ordered our drinks and were able to keep everything on one tab. The beer selection was extensive, and they even have a number of cocktails available "on tap," which was a fun surprise. We were quite impressed with Wrong Iron and will definitely be back!

Once the sun went down and the temperature started dropping, they turned it on and it was perfect. It kept us warm and made the whole setup even better. There was crawfish being sold, and of course I had to get some. It was so good and definitely added to the experience. The place was packed because of the game, but the bar inside moved surprisingly fast. There were plenty of bartenders working, so I didn't have to wait long at all. The crowd here is always friendly, which makes a big difference during big events like this. I really enjoyed myself watching the game. The only thing I wish they had was a few blankets available since it does get chilly outside at night. Also, no pets were allowed because of how large the crowd was for the Super Bowl, which makes sense. I've brought my dog before on regular visits and can't wait to bring her back again. Wrong Iron always delivers a good time. I'll definitely be back.

After traveling all day, we decided to sit outside on the patio. We had a fantastic waiter who took great care of us. They have an experienced bartender and a great signature cocktail list. Highly recommend any of the martinis. The charcuterie board was delicious as were all of our entrees. Highly recommend the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp! Bread pudding was divine. ***Brown butter rosemary fries - pass on these unless good plain fries are what you're looking for. The ambiance of this place was the best part of the experience - the Vessel is located in an old church building. I loved the vibes and it felt both classy and casual at the same time. We didn't have reservations on a Saturday night, but we were able to be seated as soon as we came in! We started with the hand cut fries and I found them to be delicious and fresh. Afterwards, I had the seafood pasta and it was great - appropriate balance of the pasta and seafood. We ended with the creme brule and it was perfect - it had the right amount of crunchiness at the top and was soft as soon as you broke into it. Overall, I had a great experience here and hope to try this place out for brunch in the future!
