Queen Anne is a great spot in Seattle. There was construction going on next door which was a little loud and distracting, but that isn't the restaurant's fault. We ordered some coffee drinks, their ginger wellness shot (recommend) and then for brunch my husband got their breakfast sandwich with avocado, I got their veggie scramble and then we split the apple pancakes. All was so delicious! They have enough vegetarian options to appease all diets and you can add various sides as well. It is a little expensive for what you get, but you're in Seattle so that's to be expected. Parking is a bit tough in that area, but we found street parking in a neighboring street. read more

WOW this place is amazing!! Came in for the first time on a Monday evening and was greeted by the sweetest girls Tara and Megan. They helped me find the perfect bowl for my dinner which was the braised beef bowl, with a swapped dressing due to my allergy. Good things first: this restaurant was cute and had some really healthy options. The food was really pretty but it was relatively unimpressive. The juice was my favorite thing I ordered! Really yummy and it was refreshing. The food was very *healthy* tasting. The rice was unseasoned with beans so it ended up just tasting like gritty beans. The chicken tasted like if I just added salsa to a skillet when cooking it at home. It tasted like a meal I could have cooked at home, and I could have made it better with more seasoning. I expect more if I'm spending $29 on food, excluding the tip. The vanilla cinnamon coffee didn't really have any of those flavors present. I was still hungry afterwards and I ended up going to another restaurant afterwards for a more filling snack. I have never had a dining experience that was my experience, let alone with a $16 entree. Later I found the bowl too small and my appetite too big, so I added one poached egg ($2). My total for this light brunch summed to be $29.73 after tax (with no tip included). If you read to now, you probably get my point. This place is very overpriced, given their portion. Now let's talk about the food. The beef bowl was pretty good: several pieces of flavorful braised beef, with rice underneath and mixed veggies on the top. But as I stated before, the portion is small, considering it's price. And tbh, it's delicious, but nothing particularly stood out. My friend's salad was plain cooked chicken with mixed veggies, half grapes, and walnuts (she asked for dressing on the side). Good combination of veggies, fruits and nuts. However, we both hated the dressing - weird taste. I'm glad she didn't get the dressing mixed in. That would have ruined the entire salad. I've been here three times. Twice for lunch, once for breakfast. You walk in and order at the counter, they give you a number which you take to your table and wait for them to deliver it. Most seating are single tables, but they have one long, large table which always seems to be people of different parties sitting at it, sort of German beer house style. They have great salads/bowls with a variety of proteins, including some vegan and vegetarian and cocktails, both alcoholic and non, served with breakfast or lunch. The recent breakfast included an order of really yum pancakes, which happened to be gluten-free. They came with sauteed and spice apples with golden raisins and butter with some maples syrup and cinnamon whipped into it, as well as a tiny pitcher of pure maple syrup. They were really good, and four large pancakes come with an order so it was easy to split with my dining friend. We also split a plate of a scramble, which came with rustic toast, and we were both very satisfied afterward...the alcoholic beverages are very minimally sweet, and I would say low alcohol as well. read more
