You will know when you walk through the door, that this isn't just any jewelry store. The people who work here are very helpful and knowledgeable and really want you to find a special piece. This is not a chain store where you never see the same salespeople twice. I have had pieces redesigned and repaired, in addition to buying new designs. Mike is a salesperson that has been extremely helpful over the years. He has a sense of just what I'm looking for in terms of design and budget. Their goldsmith is very talented, too. It was a little before close, so I was expecting to have to leave my band there for them to work on it, but they were able to work their magic in the time we were there and get the ring to finally fit my finger comfortably. Tricia helped me find my ring and I bought it the first day I entered that building. I needed the custom ring within 10 days and Tricia got it completed and ready in six. I picked it up and it looked absolutely beautiful. Update: ended up needing it resized. I left Tricia a voicemail and she got me in the next day to drop it off and they had it ready in five days. After about two year, the center stone fell out and I was told by another jeweler that TWO prongs would have had to fail for this to happen. TDC would not honor this because it. had been 7 months since I had my ring checked. The ring was just a few years old and I worked in an office. I was not hard on my jewelry. I had to purchase another stone (why did I buy it again from them???) to fix. I know things can happen but when you build a ring and I pay for the stones, the least you can do is not have it fall apart. And if it does - stand behind it and make it right. I had to make a claim on my homeowners who nearly dropped us for such a large claim. I sent a letter to the owner and naturally received zero response. Decided to never go back and we took all our spending elsewhere. We moved our business from TDC to Goodman's where we purchased many new pieces over the years. Now we live closer to Oconomowoc and go to a local shop where the jeweler is on site and they do stand behind their work.

I went in initially to talk to him about purchasing a ring, Bill told me that I could also have work done on existing pieces. I put off making a decision for quite awhile. He never pressured me, he let me take my time, I decided to have my rings remade. They were yellow gold and had been beat up after 25 years. I had a diamond sitting in my jewelry box that I traded in also. What He did was change all three rings to white gold, put all new sapphires in the wedding ring, I traded my diamond in for a larger one and much more beautiful in color and sparkle. He then made the band much more substantial then the original which will last the rest of my life, and beyond. When I came to pick up the set, I was moved to tears of joy, it was the most beautiful set, I was not prepared for how beautiful it was going to be. Rhonda is a pleasure to work with. Bill is so knowledgable about gems and design. I recommend highly.

I went in to spend my credit a few days ago and was informed that they are only willing to me $56 in credit for it. I have no proof that I am being cheated as they didn't give me any paperwork back. I have noticed lately that they are extremely tight fisted about returns so this didn't surprise me, but I have just had it. This is not the same business that I have given tons of business to over the years and sent many people to in my work as a Reiki Master Teacher and a Crystal Healer. I won't be giving them anymore of my business and I definitely won't ever recommend them to anyone again. BUYER BEWARE! Also, I bought a pair of earrings there earlier this year and the workmanship was very shoddy. The wires fell off within a few days and I had to replace them (one their in-house sets).
