Would & HAVE recommended Brake Shop to many friends and clients of mine already. The owner & his staff were very HONEST, kind & straightforward. I went in for squeaky brakes that I thought needed to be replaced before a road trip. He assured me my brakes had tons of life left & that my car was safe to drive as is but I could replace them if the squeaking bothered me. I didn't have the money to frivolously spend on brakes that didn't need replacing & he told me not to worry & just to come back when I needed them. He didn't charge me anything for the day. Requested for a diagnosis for my ABS light, he called me back in a few hours later and told me to go in. Once I made it in he gave me three piece of papers and said it might be my lines to the ECU, I asked him if he could fix it and he said it won't be a guarantee fix. I asked what happens then, he said he will have to rerun another diagnosis and it will cost me another $125. He won't guarantee me anything but happily took my hard earned cash of $125 and he said he would happily diagnosis again for another $125. I suggest going somewhere else, dude is a rip off and couldn't fix or do anything. If you don't mind giving away free money then this guy loves free money. If you had the same issue, please like so everyone else will know this guy is a fluke. read more

I did my own brakes but i wasn't confident in result as i ran into a couple issues. Guide pin snapped and had to extract, another pin was just not torquing down but i had to go to work next day. I made it to work but noticed an oddly amount of smoke coming from my wheels. I was concerned as my driver is 30 min. Found this so close by my workplace and decided to call and give them shot. They were able to take my car and check the brakes system and since it was close to work, i didn't have to take time off. He called me back in an hour and told they found the problem and fixed the issues. Fixed the driver side and rethreaded the pins and found that one pin on the passenger side wasn't grabbing to tighten down. They also did a brake fluid flush as well. Total bill $245. I asked for an estimate to do a brake job on my vehicle and they gave me $350 which is very reasonable considering other shops i received quotes from around $420-480 and for some, that wasn't including labor. He provides the kind of quality customer service that is now so rare to find. He's sincere, reliable, and does great work. In July 2022 he fixed the front and rear brakes on my 2007 Yaris (213,500 miles) and he even resolved my air conditioner problem (a different shop didn't use the right belt!). Plus, the total ended up being less than I expected! His shop is simple, but that also translates to lower overhead, which may help him keep his prices more reasonable. I took my mom's 4-Runner in for a brake job. The traction-skid control light was also on because of another mechanic messing with the OBD 2 sensor. Sako and his team did an awesome job! I was having an issue with a nasty grinding sound coming from my rear brakes. I called for an estimate and they told me to come down. I literally rolled right into the garage and had an estimate within 5-10 minutes. I needed brake work done on all four areas of my Jeep. This shop went out of their way to explain the issues, reasons for the work, and ways I could save money if I didn't want to do all the work today. Can I just say first?....Do you know what it means to have hundreds of reviews and maintain an overall 5-star rating? Sako at the Brake Shop attributes it to some good luck. No my friend, you're too modest. It means you make your customer happy EVERY time. Even when it's bad news. I found this business on Yelp (as maybe you have). I brought my 2012 Honda Accord in because of a scraping sound when braking (never a good sign). I waited in their nice little customer lounge, working on my laptop (on their wifi-thank you). Within a few minutes he had confirmed that the front brakes were shot and showed me the pads - that was a nice touch. He gave me a quote to do them, which was very reasonable for new rotors and pads, but said the back brakes were nearly gone. It was up to me, he didn't want to sell me on it, but I said go ahead. While I was waiting he came in again to show me the back pads, there was about a hair's worth of pad left, so I felt even better about the call to do front and back. I also had him replace the brake fluid as a total brake replacement is a good time to do it. 2 hours or so later he was done. He even gives a 3-year guarantee! Who does that? Overall a really low key and pleasurable experience, highly recommend them. read more

Sako is the man. I've had my Honda Odyssey's braking system worked on directly by Honda in 66,000 miles to no avail. The rotors kept fracturing and repairs didn't last long. I was tired of giving Honda my money and from my first conversation with Sako I knew I had found the right guy. He was realistic, knowledgeable and, unlike Honda, stands behind his work. He resurfaced two rotors and put on 4 high quality ceramic brake pads. It feels drastically different than any repair Honda ever did and I'm confident this time it is finally fixed! We needed some work done on our Accord and Pilot. Both needed brakes and we had gone to a few repair shops in our area and were given ridiculous quotes. Telling us we HAD to replace rotors and all that. I read the reviews here for Sako's shop and I am SO glad we did. Sako is the only HONEST repair shop I have ever found. The work is top notch, they are all super cool to work with, the price is great too. He is honest and will do whatever he can to not cost you more than necessary. Our Accord needed new brakes all around and my Pilot needed the rotors turned and new pads. He did some visual inspecting on my Pilot as it is getting older and suggested work that I had previously declined at the dealer due to cost.
