I went back two separate times to figure out what was wrong with my car, and they told me they do not do engine work, and I ended up going to the dealership. I was told the wrong oil; oil filter and spark plugs were put in my car. This resulted in me not having my car for almost two weeks and cost me over $2200 in repairs and other costs. Do not go here, I tried several times reaching out to get my car looked at before going to the dealership and even playing several videos on my phone with how my car sounded and they still refused to look over my car. If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would.

The little touches that made them stand out are gone. They no longer provide a complimentary car wash after service, they let go of the driver who used to take customers home, and none of the management team that was there last year is still there. The entire atmosphere of the shop has changed, and not for the better. I explained to Fernando, the general manager, that my vehicle had mostly been sitting in my garage since July and that I wanted a routine service along with an inspection of a specific issue I had asked them to evaluate. Instead, I was sent an estimate for nearly $5,700 that didn't even address the repairs I specifically brought the car in for. Several items were marked as "critical," and the estimate instructed me to call with any questions. When I called to review the estimate, Fernando immediately responded, "Didn't you get the report I sent?" I explained that I had, but I'm not a mechanic and wanted someone to explain what the findings actually meant. He told me I needed both my front and rear suspension replaced because of the control arms. However, when I pointed out that the inspection report only said the manufacturer recommended the rear suspension and didn't identify it as a problem, he suddenly backed off and said it wasn't necessary at this time. The conversation became increasingly frustrating. His tone was pushy, dismissive, and argumentative. He accused me of having the vehicle serviced somewhere else in November and implied I hadn't maintained it properly. I explained that the car had been sitting in my garage from July until March and that the only reason it was seen elsewhere was because the battery died and needed to be replaced. He then insisted that I had been driving the car extensively because it had accumulated 2,000 miles. I had to explain that those 2,000 miles were driven over an entire year, which is actually very low mileage. At that point, I realized I was arguing with the person inspecting my car about facts that he could easily verify from the service records. That was enough for me. I sent the inspection report and estimate to a trusted friend who is an experienced mechanic in another state. He immediately told me that the quoted prices were roughly double what they should be and advised me not to have the work done there. I have since found another mechanic who treated me with respect, took the time to explain what my car actually needs and quoted much more reasonable prices.

Took it back they claim it was a different gasket seal ( 3er gasket now) and the cooling line that was leaking was a little loose. got Fixed. drove home and all my power windows started going up and down nonstop. The speedometer going up and down from 20-70 and greats panel displaying automatic shifting from Park to Drive to Reverse. Didn't even make home, we just took back. Now they refuse to honor their warranty or their own diagnostic which are not free. Verily easy to schedule on phone and went in next day. Greeted by Sean as I entered Sat- and just the nicest person to visit with as he got all set for me. My appt was at noon and although al the service itself was a tad delayed, it worked out well for me. I had a really nice waiting room with coffee choices and water available to get if wanted. TV in there but not on and truly all I need is phone to get things done. When appt was complete, I was already in lobby and Sean let me know only one tire guy there due to call outs and explained why it stretched a bit. It was fine, I understand and then as checking out, we chatted and spoke about the awesome rural places we both reside. He spoke of his family and way of life and that few minutes just made it so much more pleasant to get this necessity completed. I had seen great reviews on this BrakeMax - and when needed, it is where I will continue to go because of the service and value (same price as my rural places- which is great too!) I received. JT Auto took one look and basically said, "Yeah...no." Turns out we only needed the front brakes and rotors. Saving customers money instead of inventing repairs? That's a refreshing change. Now, they weren't perfect--and that's okay. The first hiccup was with our appointment. We were told to come in the next day at 10:30 a.m. because we planned to wait while the work was done. Somewhere along the way, the wrong day got written down. It was a little frustrating, but they got us back in the same day at 1:30 p.m., so it wasn't the end of the world. The second issue was the bill. I was quoted $380 cash for the front brakes/rotor (or $580 if we did front and rear). Since only the front needed to be done, I sent my husband to pick up the car. Somehow he ended up paying $540. One phone call later, they checked it, admitted the mistake, and immediately refunded the difference. Honestly, I think it was just that, a mistake. If they were trying to nickel-and-dime us, they could have simply agreed with the first shop and sold us rear brakes we didn't even need. Instead, they were honest about what actually needed to be fixed, and when a billing error happened, they made it right without any arguments. As a Consumer it's okay for a buissnesss to Error but a true moral factor of a business when brought to attention. We sure will be using them again. Thank JT Auto!
