I am writing this to express my disgust with an incident I had when visiting Braman Honda's service center. I got there for a brake service at 6:45 am and was the second car in line. I was greeted when they opened at 7:00 am and promptly assisted. I was advised the brake replacement could take a couple of hours. At 9:15 am, I asked and was advised my car was almost done. At 9:45 am, my car was finally ready and I went and paid. I walked out to provide them with my receipt so they could get my car. This was about 10:00 am. They offer a free car wash to everyone, so of course, I wanted it. When I went out to wait for my car I realized there were 8 cars before mine in line for the car wash. I looked around and saw only one other person waiting with me for their car. The first car came out and the person parked it. The customer came out 10 minutes later to pick it up. The second car was the person waiting next to me and he left. The third car was also parked and then the fourth car came out and this lady, who I remember seeing sitting in the waiting room came out saying oh there is my car and got in. at that point, I turned around and looked for the manager. I found him, Alex Vizoso, and I proceeded to ask him how the line-up of course for the car wash was done. I wanted to know how a person who paid after me was already in their car leaving. As I was explaining my dissatisfaction, the manager, Alex Vizoso, repeatedly responded with, and I quote, "a-huh". No actual words were used just 8 continuous 'a-huh'. I stopped and told please stop with that and stated that was rude to a customer. This is where it got crazy. He told me that the cars were lined up in order of completion and if I didn't like it I could leave. Additionally, he proceeded to get closer to me as if it was a challenge. I told him to back off and he told me what I was going to do about it. I said 'nothing just report you to management' and his response was go right ahead. He walked away from me, but before he left he turned to me and made a derogatory comment about my mother. Are we in the playground in 5th grade? I almost lost it. This was shocking and appalling. His employees had to step in and hold him back. Literally separate him from the area. I wanted you to be aware that this is the type of environment encountered at this service center and feel this manager is dangerous and should not be working with people. I felt bullied, threatened and feared for my life. If he was willing to challenge me in that manner, I am fearful what he is capable of doing if someone would not have intervened. read more

We loved the car so he didn't really have to sell it to us. I was happy because my bank gave low interest and because I had my first ever car of the year. I have a 2015 Honda Accord that I bought at this dealership 2-1/2 years ago. I have brought it in for regular maintenance dictated by the Maintenance Minder in the car. Today, I brought it in for an oil change, tire rotation, and multipoint inspection according to the maintenance warranty. When I called to see if the car was finished earlier than originally stated, Valerie told me they had found that the serpentine belt needed to be replaced and a fuel induction service was needed. I asked what was wrong with the serpentine belt and she explained it had cracks in it and that if it failed it could affect a lot of the other systems in the car and could cause a lot of problems. I said, ok, but I want to see the belt, she said ok. The fuel induction I understood as I had noticed a little less pickup on acceleration than ususal. A couple hours later, I picked up the car. As promised the replaced belt was in the front seat and it looked almost new. It was dirty as expected but there was nothing wrong with that belt. When I asked Valerie what was wrong with it she said it was stretched out because it obviously did not have any cracks, tears or anything else visible that she had told me on the phone. I asked her to get me a new one so I could compare. I never got that and she went to talk to the service manager. She came back with a piece of paper that she tried to tell me was what the belt looked like in the car and that it had slipped off the track. Not very clear at all and then the service manager comes in. I ask him too, what is the matter with the belt. He could not find anything wrong either so he said it was replaced because of the 52000 miles on the car. So, there was no visual inspection, or maybe there was, but found it was in perfect shape. I believe this was completely unnecessary service that was pitched to me as possibly catastrophic. I will not go back again since my highly overpriced Car care maintenance warranty is just about up. Beware. Look up everything before you agree. I thought I could trust this dealership but find I am not alone after reading some of the other reviews. read more

Worst service ever. Brought in my car for bushings and Cv joint replacement with alignment. After hours of waiting I took my car home and my cars alignment pulled left. Went for a second time, waited 3 1/2 hours for a 25 mins service and they tell me that whoever did my alignment did it incorrectly but it's fixed. JUST left the dealership and my car is STILL pulling left, probably even worse than before. read more

My mother brought her car to this location to fix the air conditioner which was blowing hot. The service was prompt and they fixed the issue, so I cannot say their technicians are bad in fact I'm sure they're great. However, that is only half of the experience what makes this dealership not only fall short but flat out seem like a criminal establishment is the pricing and customer service. She was forced into buying 3 surplus parts and grossly overcharged for the labor. They essentially looked at any parts of the hvac system that sounded dangerous and told her they were in need of replacement, despite the fact that one of them was replaced the previous oil change in another Honda dealership!! They even insisted that the alarm that had been installed SINCE she bought the car was causing the problem... 50000 miles later, yeah right. When I called the next day and asked to speak with the service advisor who assisted her he replied that she had a choice on whether to do or not do specific replacements, but that's not really true when you tell a 58 year old woman who is not very experienced in mechanics that pieces of her car are causing problems ofcourse she will change them. As far as labor prices, they have an assigned time for the techs to perform a service and that's what they charge even if it's done in 1/3 of the time. So although she was in and out in 90 minutes (including wait time) she was charged for 3 and a half hours of work. Just flat out robbery. If you are getting something fixed with warranty at no cost feel free to go to this dealership, but if you care about value and just being treated fair keep driving. They really are criminals who take advantage of their customers. read more

I purchased a 2018 Honda Pilot AWD from Greenacres, Palm Beach, from Jhon Vargas , Braman Honda on March 9. I wanted to use my Vt. tag and they said no problem but there is a problem. I emailed the state of Vermont and they said they received nothing from Braman Honda to date for me. I am to leave next week, as I emailed the salesman for the last 3 weeks to make sure all was in the works. He said don't worry, all was well. I find out that this is not true. I've been calling since 9:30 am and no one at the dealership will talk to me on the phone, not the salesman, the tag and title person or the general manager or his assistant, left messages on all involved voice mails. read more

I could say with confidence that leasing at Braman Honda Coral Way has provided me with the absolute WORST car leasing experience. I am at the point right now where I am considering returning my 2016 Honda Accord LX coupe and removing all payments made from my bank account. The employees have minimal experience in both leasing and customer service. After being loyal to honda for so many years, it is truly unfortunate how they treat their returning customers. It is now over a month later and I have already had to re-sign the entire contract because of their previous errors. The contract specifically noted Honda was wavering my remaining monthly payments, however, it was some how lost in translation and I got the bill earlier this month for those payments. ON ANOTHER NOTE, when I turned in my Honda Civic for inspection, I specifically recall the man describing my Civic in "great condition." Yesterday, I received a bill enlightening me of my TOTAL BALANCE DUE for "wear and tear" for outstanding cost of $2,675!!!!! I have already contacted my attorney! read more

bought used 2016 Honda Civic EX several months ago from another dealer. Was not totally familiar with car yet, thought I needed oil change thus made appointment. On my way to the appointment my A/C felt like it wasn't working right and I thought I smelled something burning. When I got to the dealer it was very busy, Saturday morning. It took less time to be seen by service Rep even with so many people. My first positive experience was the rep stated I was not due to get oil change yet as my car system stated oil at 60%. Next positive was I left the car to get A/C inspected ( I was out of warranty). Rep stated having mechanic do eval would cost $89 if needing repair this cost would be added to total repair cost. I got a call from rep like 3 hours later stated car was ready. When I went to pick up was told they did not find any issues with A/C. I turning A/C on and no problems, it's been a week and no problems. I must have touched some control previously that turned system off. The positive is that no charge was given to on inspection, I guess they checked controls first and where honest in not putting car threw battery of tests and charging me $89. I liked there honesty, I could have been taken advantage of by another service center. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband called about returning my lease (we did not lease from them) and he stated that in the call, they explained the procedures that we had to do before returning the car. I went through the procedures and called back to make the appointment and was rudely told I could not return the car there because I did not lease it from them. I asked to speak to the person my husband spoke to, and he was also rude saying if my husband had told him that it was leased elsewhere he would have explained that he couldn't. I then stated I was standing right next to him when he said it. He proceeded to say the calls were recorded. There is a difference in not hearing it and never having said it! I can understand that they don't accept cars that weren't leased from them but I don't understand their rude and horrible customer service. I'll try to be brief. I came here in 2013 to shop for an Accord. I have already had 4. They were unable to meet my numbers. So I went with VW. I am ready to shop again and love the new Accords so I decided to give it another shot. There are many sales people sitting around chatting and eyeing me up and down :/. I finally asked to speak to a salesman so I could test drive a car. He had me walk to the first and then the second floor and couldn't find the car I wanted to test drive. Then took me back downstairs and asked me to wait while he found a car. I waited about 20 minutes he didn't return so I walked out. Frank even said to me I don't know we have all of these 6 cyl. Because no one buys them. But overall he was not Interested in selling me the car. He was indifferent and even said to me well if you want the ex-l I don't have any programs you will have to handle that with the finance manager. What a joke!! I'm on my way back to Esserman VW. they are waiting on me and I'll be sure to give them a raving review and my business once again. On June 11, 2013, I took my 2007 Ridgeline to be inspected for a hauling noise originating from the front wheel area. This noise was diagnosed as a defective brake vacuum tube which was then ordered. On July 12, 2013, when the part arrived, the vehicle was taken back to your facility to have this part installed. On July 13, 2013, when the vehicle was picked up and driven away, immediately the noise continue to radiate out of the from wheel area. I made a U turn and returned to the service area and was told then by Michael Terrau that they did know what the cause of the hauling noise was and to leave it there for further inspection. After one month and $152.17 later, was intrigued how service was being done on the vehicle on a trial and error basis. Not satisfied with this service, and realizing how your trial and error method was not solving the issue, I decided to take the vehicle elsewhere. On July 18, 2013, took the vehicles to Japanese Car Care, the Ridgeline was road tested, the noise immediately identified as a result of the vibration felt when the noise appeared as an issue with the brake pads. Having told them about the new brake vacuum installed, they disconnected this new installed part and the noise continued. New brake pads were installed and to this day, the hauling noise has not been heard or the vibration felt again. I requested a refund of the $152.17 in writing, certified delivery, and to date have not received a response. read more

I went in today with my 2007 ridgeline which I purchase 100,000 mile warranty from rick case honda. I have taken the vehicle there before to get a oil change. but I went today to get a replacement battery which was stamped November 2010 from honda with 100 month warranty. First of all as soon as I sat down the gentleman had an unfriendly attitude about my request for free replacement since the battery has in warranty. Then the supervisors called into the office and I went ahead and explained that the battery was tagged from November of 2010 which is after the warranty of the vehicle, therefore the Honda brand battery was not paid by the warranty but from me. The supervisor also, explain to me that unless I have a receipt the warranty battery or replacement paid battery would have to be paid again and cannot be replaced for free. None of these two individuals neither the young gentleman or that Spanish lady that was the supervisor even open the hood of my car nor suggested any help in order to get a replacement battery. She said I could purchase one for $130 and that I will be able to replace it anywhere because I have a hundred month warranty the same as my old replace battery already. by this point I was extremely disappointed. The Spanish lady supervisor has to have the worst attitude and be the least prepare supervisor with customer service I have ever encountered. On my last visit to Rick Case Honda all of them were super nice and look for alternatives which is the key word in order to get my problem solved. It is unbelievable to me that Honda dealership will not try to satisfy the warranty under product. I will send a letter to the main Honda representative of United States to complain about Braman Honda. I will never go to Braman Honda not even for an oil change they have lost me as a customer this review should steer people away from them I hope someone takes notice there and explain to the customer reps that they're supposed to help customers find solutions to people's issues and not be so stubborn without even looking under the hood of a vehicle. I forgot their names but you can't miss the supervisor. since I thought we were not going anywhere with the supervisor lady I suggested to her to get someone else and very cocky she said she was the last resource to my issue so I grab my car and left. I went to Walmart out of all places got a replacement battery for under $100 and the lady explain to me that without a receipt they will definitely change it in the first three years. If this had no stars i would give it 0. I dont know if Braman Honda is a bad dealer in general but In my opinion my experience here the service was not the best at all. First lets start with the unprofessionalism that the have here. I only went there because it was really close to my house but I am so glad i didn't buy/lease my car here. I went with my boyfriend and we are both in our twenties so my only guess is that the guy thought we were young and stupid, but what he didn't know is that we had done our research. Basically after we negotiated a selling price for a 2015 Civic and we thought it was a good and fair price according to what the fair market price is for the car, we told him that we wanted to make a deal and we wanted to lease. At that moment the guy backed out, he was like this is price is only if you buy if you lease you have to take the price on the website. Well, my boyfriend got really agitated and started going back and forth with the guy. He pretty much told us that the selling price for a car when you lease is not negotiable. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. Do not let any dealer tell you that the price is not negotiable. First of all you don't even have to tell them if u are buying or leasing. After this terrible afternoon at this dealer we left and told him that we were gonna "think" about it, because i didn't want to be rude. But what I should have said was how unhappy and have a waste of time that was. The next day I went to South Motors Honda on US 1 and drove a little further but here their really took us seriously and they did lower the price of the car. I ended up leasing the Civic 2015 how I had originally planned. If you go to Braman please be careful with who you talk to. Not only are their sales person unprofessional, but not trust worthy. I went there on the 3rd of July and was told a price out the door but they stated I had to buy "NOW". I didn't want to feel pressured so I said I would go and look at other dealers "something I had planned on doing prior to my visit" and would come/call back if interested. Well I called the next day and the sales individual "wont name any names" told me that the price I was told yesterday was "yesterday's price". Hiked it up by 1500 hundred dollars with no remarks or care in the world for the client. I ended up calling the manager "Carlos" (had too name drop) and he stated this is how they do business and he felt sorry he wasn't able to help me. I replied back stating that I did not call back to get the discount I was promised, I called back to tell him that doing business as such is unprofessional and bad business practice. but hey, if you prefer to be hustled like you are buying a product in the streets, then go right in and shop at Banman Honda.
