Cappuccino (after a few sips - it looked great when we got it)

The place is very cute, with plenty of seating. We went on a Saturday and there were a good amount if people there. The food selection is somewhat limited. Staff needs some training to move faster and efficiently, especially given the area competition and volume of customers. This place has great potential. Coffee quality is commercial. It has great potential with a few tweaks.

Service was great - friendly and welcoming. Prices for the quality of food is thumbs all the way down. Grilled Chicken sandwich was embarrassing. Barely grilled and I felt like the chicken was still alive. The key like cake was $7 plus tax and it was smaller than my Areolas. Coffee as okay. Never again.

Pastries are the reason to come here - we got various croissants and they were so delicious. Food was quite lackluster and lacking flavor, my shakshuka wasn't quite shakshuka but rather poached eggs in tomato sauce with sliced bread. Pita and za'atar seasoning would have made a big difference. Definitely missed the mark, but the coffee and pastries made up for it.

    Coffee and cinnamon roll.

Super awesome food and service. Nice little cafe, coffee and pastries were delicious

Went to Branche Cafe for coffee on a Friday. It's a cute cafe with some seating indoor and outdoor. They are apparently a French bakery, and I have had many of their different flavors of croissants. They are all good. Their coffee is just as good as their pastries. I've had the cortado and the cold brew. I like that they use frozen coffee as ice for their cold brew. Definitely worth going for the good coffee.

Good coffee, pleasant staff, and outdoor seating in front. This cafe is walking distance from me and convenient for me to swing by when I want good coffee. My friend and I tried their drip iced coffee and it was great! I've tried some of their pastries too. They have some cakes and other sweet treats available for purchase. They have a food menu for breakfast/brunch/lunch but haven't tried their dishes yet.

Nice are parking on street and a lot. Food was really good! Service was good! The iced Americano was good and the dessert selection was amazing! I tried two so far and both were tasty. Almond French toast with fresh fruit is delicious and the whipped cream is on point. The vanilla anglaise is so damn good! Clean spacious bathroom too! I cant wait to go back to try some new food options and desserts.

    Worth a try!

Tried the other two pastries mentioned in my previous review. The triangular one ended up being an apple turnover. It was enjoyable, with an interesting twist of using what seemed to be apple puree for the filling! The puree wasn't sickeningly sweet or slimy, so I think it was house made. I believe the round pastry was a cinnamon swirl. It was very light (too light for me), and was unfortunately crumbly dry. As Meatloaf said in one of his songs, "Two outta three ain't bad."! I'll be visiting again

Friendly service and cute interior! The food was good, but nothing special. Solid brunch spot! Parking is meter parking so be prepared to pay.

Love love love this quaint cafe with breakfast and brunch options. Cute outdoor seating too. Wish it were open longer. Drip coffee 5/5 Pain au Chocolat 5/5 crispy buttery and chocolaty Street parking in front.

I love Branche. Their specialty drinks are really good and their staff is just the best. This is one of my comfort cafes in Fort Lee, 10/10!

Terribly dry and burned loaf of $10 bread.

Very stale dry old bread. For $10 you'd figure fresh loaf. Never going again. Save your money. There are so many other cafes around.

What a treat it is to finally get a decent brunch restaurant in part of town in Fort Lee! Woot woot!! After visiting about three times, decided that this establishment deserves a review. This review is based on their SOFT OPENING. Tried several items on the menu starting from dripped coffee, freshly squeezed OJ, green tea latte, omlettes, benedicts, smoked salmon on baguette bread, arugula salad, squash soup, almond pastries, and few more things. Firstly, love the fact that all the ingredients are fresh. You can taste the freshness! Secondly, staff are super friendly and attentive. And of course, the location is great with a parking space and even more street parking. Even the little tables on the sidewalk is a perfect to sit, and relax with some coffee with the tranquil view of greenfield of community center. Truly looking forward to how the establishment will settle after the upcoming grand opening. Truly excited and looking forward to it!

I would say Service is pretty nonexistent as you order on the counter and you see yourself with no waitressing. The cashier lady was also pretty rude and not accomodating to my request (make my drinks less sweet) so they lose a store for that. Atmosphere is cute and vibes are great, definitely has modern and traditional Korean vibes. However, I would not say that this is like a traditional tea house? Having been to A LOT of tea houses in Korea, their menu and concept is definitely far from what a traditional teahouse is like. For instance, a traditional teahouse would have assorted rice, cakes and traditional, Korean desserts, however, I feel like this place used modern French pastries, and put a Korean twist on them, which I would say is not very Korean in reality. Baked goods were OK. It tasted stale. Losing a star for that as well.

Hey, if the boss is recommending it I'm all for it. My son got the ube and coconut. OMG, both drinks were so darn yummy. I am not an ube fan whatsoever, but my son insisted I take a sip. I have to say it was the best ube drink I have ever tried. The coconut mixed with the strawberry and matcha is a game changer. The teddy bear made of ice was so cute and makes for a cool IG pic. The owner was sweet enough to ask if we liked it. I gave her the thumbs up and said they were excellent and that we will be back. Oddly they also serve pho here, it's not a restaurant per se. The teddy bear ice was as cute as advertised but my drink left a lot to be desired. I got a Teddy Strawberry Matcha and my girlfriend got a Teddy Mango Matcha w/ Oat Milk. My drink was very 'meh'. I got regular milk and it feels like the whole drink was overpowered by the milk flavor. I got just hints of matcha and hints of strawberry. And for $7.50 for the drink it was a let down. On the other hand my girlfriend's mango matcha with oat milk was excellent. Each flavor was well represented and none of them were overpowering. I really enjoyed the taste I got of her drink and my girlfriend really liked it too. The service was friendly and they also serve pastries. I'd try them again.

Imagine our delight when we found this place on Yelp. This is huge for coffee lovers. Most of their beans are single-origin, and while some may be a little nervous that it's next to a gas station, rest assured, it will be one of the best coffees you will ever enjoy. Bold statement, but a true statement. Seating is very limited. One side has four seats at a long bench table, while the other side offers two seats. There was also a table with a few chairs outside. This place has espresso drinks, coffee, a limited tea selection (tea bags, not loose leaf), banana bread, croissants, and other various baked items. We had a buttery croissant and banana bread -- both were heated up and outstanding!! The coffee beans are roasted in-house, and they also offer coffee on tap. It turns out they have several locations, and they all roast their own beans on-site. You can also purchase beans to grind at home, should you choose. Parking is tight but free. They do have a bathroom if you need to use it, and the baristas who work there are all experts at making coffee. They are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and are great to chat with about their beans when the place is at a rare slow time. They are dedicated to their craft. Anytime we are nearby, this will be the only place we will be stopping for a supreme cup of java. My biggest regret: not purchasing a bag to take home. The Roast'd Legender is calling out to me.

It's smack in the middle of Fort Lee's Main Street, adjacent to the new Fort Lee Commons Park so easily walkable and central to everything. 2. Well, it's kinda glam inside. It's a coffee shop with green velvet booths (can't even remember if I ever visited a coffee shop with actual booths) and pretty gold-embedded wallpaper and trim all around. Kinda like a Dubai chocolate bar that came to life. And that's kind of where it ends for me. I gave this spot two tries. On the first visit. I ordered a mocha and could barely taste any mocha, so I brought it back to the counter to ask if they can pour more. They did. Gave it a good stir. Still couldn't taste it. On the second try, I ordered a potato Turkish bagel and asked for smoked salmon with it (which I saw they used in one of their sandwiches). What I got was a Turkish potato bagel (for which the potato part is invisible) and a whole other smoked salmon sandwich. No wonder my bill came out to $29?! The cashier understood I wanted a smoked salmon sandwich AND a bagel. So, lesson learned: a Turkish bagel is served and eaten differently than a traditional bagel, which would've come with the smoked salmon in the inside like a sandwich. Also ordered a biscotti latte. Biscotti taste is (very) subtle but I think it was there?? Best part about my second visit is the manager, Mo, came over to check on us and offer us refresher drink samples. Very nice guy (thanks again, Mo!) If you're an artisan coffee head who seeks a deep enriched tasteful coffee, I'd go elsewhere. If you're looking for velvet booths, instagrammable background, and pretty-looking pastry display, check it out. It's all looks and no depth.

I noticed that Mavi's has installed wall mounted televisions, which scroll menu items, specials, and upcoming events. This was my first time ordering from their brunch menu and it was outstanding. My Western Omelette (ham, onion, mushroom, pepper, egg, potato, arugula, almond slices) was an excellent choice. Every ingredient was fresh, the eggs were fluffy, and it was accompanied by a side salad and two large slices of multigrain bread. The other items were the artistically presented Avocado Salad (Avocado, tomato, onion crisp, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, arugula mixed salad, almond slices with balsamic glaze and sesame dressing) and the Toowoomba Shrimp Donkatsu (crispy, golden-fried cutlet smothered in a rich, creamy, and spicy Cajun Toowoomba sauce with shrimp, onions, and mushrooms, served alongside a half-portion of pasta). I was excited to finally order dinner after hearing good things, but my husband and I were unfortunately disappointed with the experience. We ordered takeout for dinner: Toowoomba Shrimp Pasta with Tonkatsu and the Spicy Original Tteokbokki (rice cakes) with Fried Kim-ma-ri (fried seaweed rolls). The shrimp pasta had good flavor but the portion was way too tiny. After only three or four bites, it was gone. There were about 4 pieces of shrimp in the entire dish and they could've added more pasta, given that it's not an expensive ingredient. The tonkatsu was also underwhelming. It was a small piece served in a large container that made the portion size look even more skimpy. I was also disappointed in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce with no egg and only a few pieces of fish cake, again served in a container that was far too large for the amount of food provided. The kim-ma-ri pieces were fine but also very small. Overall, the meal was underwhelming. For a total cost of nearly $50, the quantities were just way too small. We were left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry.
