Hello, I was just the Brandon's diner in Riverside on Magnolia with my husband and father in law. Our waitress was so awesome! I spoke to the manager about my husband's food taking too long to be ready and if there was something he could do on our bill for us to compensate for what happened. Rather than doing that, he found it easier to yell at our waitress for what happened. I told him it was not her! I left a note on our bill stating that what happened was not the fault of the waitress. She even asked the kitchen twice if the food were ready. If someone could please speak to the manager and teach him how to speak to his employees about how he should speak to them in a respectful manner, I would greatly appreciate it. It's mot right that our waitress should feel distraught and scared about hearing about it later being that what took place was in no way her fault. My father in law also told the manager that he shouldn't speak to his employees that way. Thank You, read more

Staff was very rude. One of our party ran to the store since we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. After being sat at the 15 minute mark, the server told us she would not take our order because we were sat before our party was whole. read more

I don't recommend the beef fajitas. They have so much gristle, and they do not season them they have no taste and hard to chew. The stuffed potato is still quite hard inside and again stuffed with the beef fajitas as well. Not recommended. However atmosphere and the lady who Served is seems to be quite lovely just not some food. Hit and miss. read more

This spot just open last week, they are still training their staff but overall today was a great. Was seated right away, Menu was big so we took a while to look over. I notice they have impossible meat, and veggie options as well as turkey sausage, seems like a great place where everyone can eat. They also have a lot of desserts and the coffee was hot and delicious, host kept my cup full! I had the patty melt and the burger patty was thick, you are able to request it cook at different temperatures. Restroom are clean and price was is average compared to other restaurants. Great spot for the family. They have a lot of dinner options so will be back to try those. read more

I give up! Been going to Brandon's since the days of only having one restaurant in Riverside. Back then I remember it always being delicious, but not anymore. Now, they almost ALWAYS overcook the eggs, so I started asking for a lite scramble and they would come out really good. So, today I ordered a breakfast burrito with a lite scramble on the eggs. Eggs looked great, but since I didn't want overcooked eggs the cook decided I must want burnt hash browns. When your hash browns are dark brown and black, it is clearly no mistake. The cook knew they burnt the hash browns and put them in the burrito anyway because they didn't care. It's too bad the quality had to suffer when they opened more locations. read more

this place is alright but they have very un attentive waitresses. It's a Monday so it was dead but they never came to check on us. We had to go inside to ask for cups of water. We asked for more coffee and they brought us another mug?? Lol. Also they seem to just hang around by the register all of them in a group instead of checking on people. read more

We went here thinking it was going to be good first customers of the day and they messed up my friends order she placed she ordered a veggie omelet they gave her the kitchen sink omelet I ordered the two pork chops and eggs biscuits and gravy was hard and the eggs where overcooked bad and I couldn't eat the pork chops they where very chewy and very overcooked . This place used to be good. We were the first customers and I got a veggie omelet and she brought me a meat omelet. I don't eat meat. My friends food was not cooked right and the biscuits were hard. This place is HORRIBLE!! If you ask for any adjustments to your order they get mad at you and ruin your food on purpose. I asked for cheese on my eggs and asked to pay extra for it and they put cream cheese on my pancakes. Not just a little bit but like COVERED them in cream cheese. Then the day before I asked for cheese on my eggs and to pay more and they gave me hash browns instead of country potatoes. When I asked the lady how they added 10 layers of cream cheese when I didn't even ask for cream cheese she was like "I'm not sure how that happened. I do see that you didn't order them like that." On Grubhub I ordered under lunch specials Hot roast beef sandwich served with mashed potatoes and gravy. So says the menu. Required is picking one side. Chose fruit. Order arrived with no mashed potatoes. Called restaurant. Said I chose fruit so no potatoes. I said that was not an avail. Option to choose. But said included so why would I order twice? Told I could come in and they guess they would give me mashed potatoes. I ordered delivery for a reason. If I could have picked up I would not have paid for delivery! Not happy. Read your own menu before you tell me i'm wrong and then basically shrug your shoulders and say contact Grubhub if not happy. This time unhappy with restaurant not Grubhub. Food good. Our new favorite breakfast spot!! Usually our go-tos are Corky's or Black Bear Diner, but we finally decided to give this place a shot after years of seeing it and driving by. The chicken and waffle I got was delicious and super filling, and he got the country fried steak which was also very good. Most places over-bread their country fried steak so it was odd to see this one so thin but it was perfect! Nearly clean plates from both of us but I definitely needed a to-go box..but trust me I wanted to finish it lol. The servers are also very nice and attentive! This is a great place for breakfast lunch or dinner. All the servers are friendly and attentive. I usually ask if Miriam is working and sit in her area as she is friendly and lady on the spot! As I said though all are great Try the crunchy French toast OOooOooOoo yummy as ar chilequiles with chorizo, can't go wrong with their steaks I was a skeptic but yup true Brandon nature very good (thanks Miriam for the recommendation)! My husband and I walked into this restaurant after fasting all morning. Me being a breakfast person was delighted when I saw they had all day breakfast. We had our waitress bring our drinks and take our order, she was super friendly and attentive. The food was also really good. We found a great place for our whole family to enjoy. Went in about 10 am 5 other parties ahead of us I was told 20 minute wait. I noticed 7 tables available 2 servers working 2 parties left. 3 parties came in and left still 7 tables available. We were finally sat waited 10 minutes before our drink order was taken. Another server showed up finally people waiting were being sat, the guy server took our order for drinks. Still took awhile to get our drinks. My husband asked for our drinks and the female server brought out drinks and asks if we had ordered yet, told her no we have been waiting. Gave her our order and a few things were missing. Never got the chips and salsa had to ask for ice water again. Check your bill we were charged for items we never ordered the guy did that to 2 other tables. Today was a nightmare food was ok, service was bad spent 1 hour and 20 minutes sadly this younger generation is worthless everyone wants more money well do your job. Those that walked out or came up and saw the wait were smart to leave, next time we won't wait. Probably won't go back if the guy is there he needs to learn how to do his job. Walking around looking like you know what you are doing was a big joke. You probably also lost customers because of the guy. So check your bills being over charged and than expecting a tip on top of that doesn't go well. read more

This spot has good food and the serving sizes can be big enough to even split with someone else but the service can be better unfortunately we were only checked on about once or twice and had to get the wait staffs attention every time unfortunately one of our orders was also incorrect when it was brought out. I wish I could say it was busy and I would have understood unfortunately it wasn't and seemed overall as if there simply wasn't coordination amongst themselves. Food was delicious and hot, service was fast and our waitress, Sol was awesome. Plus as an added bonus, which we didn't know when we came in meals are buy one get one for free after 3pm! I went to Brandon's Diner in Magnolia and there were 6 waitresses and not one greeted me and my friend. Then finally a waitress said you can sit where ever you like. We sat there for 5 mins and no waitress came to help us. They all were just talking. I waved my hand and they ignored us. Three police officers walked in and were immediately helped. I talked to the manager and she said I did not see you. I work in customer service and I will never be back to this restaurant. It's sad to still be treated like this in this day and age.
