the food here is ok, the mexican food is so bad it just lacks actual flavor. I went this saturday and i got there at 11:20 and we got seated pretty fast. we sat down and waited 30 minutes to get asked if we wanted drinks and only bc my dad made an annoyed gesture. most servers saw that we hadnt been asked and still didnt care. they were literally all white and when i asked for the check they got annoyed bc i was complaining like hello?? i was there for 50 minutes waiting. The place itself is ok but they seem kinda racist. every time i go they serve me last bc white ppl come and get served even when i was there first. Every-time i go i have to wait about 2 hours to even get asked if i wanted drinks water read more

I was looking at reviews for another place called farmers boys and the reviews were terrible so I kept looking and found this place. I arrived to find a line waiting outside for a table. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Our experience here was excellent from the time we walked in and checked in to the time we left. The customer service is what you would expect from a well organized restaurant. All of the servers were always busy doing something and not just standing around looking at their phones like you see at other restaurants. The food was hot, delicious and cooked to order. Have had a really great time here every time I have come and this time was no different. One of my good friends wanted to come here for an early birthday dinner which I turned into breakfast because lets face it, I can eat breakfast all day. Further reinforcing my bias is this establishment where they serve breakfast all day so yes I was in a good mood looking at the menu. I ordered strawberry/banana pancakes with hashbrowns and eggs. Typical maybe, but I like what I like. The real challenge was picking that over the french toast because their french toast looks ridiculously delicious. My biggest issue was that I didn't have the stomach capacity to order and finish several different breakfast items while we were there. Such a shame. Oh and before I forget, their coffee tastes pretty good too. Normally in my experience several places have the same tasting coffee...I actually pointed out the distinction to our server (Mari was her name, awesome server btw, I always enjoy someone with personality :)). The place is like a mom and pop family-friendly restaurant and the waitress was very friendly and helpful! If you want a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner cuisine, then this would be the place. I got the steak as medium but it was cooked a little more than medium that made the steak dry. The eggs and hash brown were cooked perfectly for my tasting. It's seasoned when served but definitely add more salt and pepper to your liking. The vegetarian skillet has a very good mixture of vegetables and cheese to top it off. Shame on you for selling chilaquiles at your establishment. Yiu guys don't make the chilaques the right way. You guys just put some store bought salsa and pour it on some chips. Here's a diner yup just like in its name. They are a chain of restaurants and I have been to most of them. Simple fresh made breakfasts weather it's bacon and eggs or Mexican Chili Verde with all the fixings. Some hot coffee to start when you sit down to warm you up. The servers are all very friendly and will even help you with your picks as they have daily specials. I ordered the country fried chicken with two sides which you pick from and I ordered hash browns 2 times. Eggs over easy which were perfectly done. My wife had blueberry pancakes and eggs and bacon. She ate it all yummy. Yes weather it's breakfast or lunch it's a great place to fill up your stomach. They have a salad bar in the corner but I haven't tried it. My family and I came in there the other day and had excellent service! I think the young lady's name was Jillian. She was the Hostess who had just finished cleaning our table and promptly seated us. Very polite, friendly, pretty and professional. I'm sorry I don't remember our server's name but they were great, too! All of us couldn't get over how much food portions we received. Definitely got our money's worth! The restaurant was busy but well kept. Everyone had smiles on their faces. We visit Riverside frequently and this was our first time at Brandon's Diner. On September 19, 2024 I stopped in to order a take-out breakfast. I saw a special on the chock board for $8.99, so I ordered it. The cashier said it would be $9.99 plus tax. I asked why the increase from what was advertised. She said it was marked wrong on the chock board. The manager arrived and said the same thing and changed the price on the board to $9.99. I asked to be charged the chock board price and he said he did not have the authority to change it. I believe the law says he has to charge me the advertised price. Soggy chilaquiles with flavorless salsa, unseasoned potatoes and hash browns, the most poorly balanced country scramble to date. And poorly flavored salsa. Food is good, but I had really bad service the other day. I went in to have an early dinner with my family. I was very disappointed when the waiter got everyone's order incorrect. I've never seen that happen, but he screwed up everyone's order and we were ALL disappointed. Then it took forever to get the food after being corrected and everyone of us ate at different times. When I asked for the manager, they said there is none. No wonder their service is lousy, no one to guide them. I will be going to other restaurants going forward, the quality of service at Brandon's's has gone way down. read more

Great experience today and for a first timer I was impressed with the fast service the quality of food and the low wait time for a Saturday I breakfast was hot the coffee was always poured so that I never felt neglected and they have vanilla creamer yay The meal I ordered was huge for the price and it arrived about 10 minutes for order and they were busy.
