We were heading up to bring lunch and eat with our grandchildren at their elementary school. This location was on the way and they start preparing lunch items at 10:30. The grandkids love to get the "bag of burgers" when they are at our house. They don't have a Braum's location near their house, so it's a treat for them. The drive through line seemed to take a long time considering there was only one car in front of me. I ordered a bag of hamburgers, a couple of regular burgers, fries and a milkshake. Absolutely disgusting. We walked in, high hopes for some biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately we left soon after arriving. There were gnats and house flies EVERYWHERE. The workers were obviously frustrated, and were snappy when we asked for a refund after bugs were found in my drink cup. So so gross. The inside of this restaurant was utterly filled with flies. It was disgusting, and staff didn't seem concerned. The menu wall was literally covered. Flies were flying in my face. I went to get a drink, and found a fly in my cup. It was a horrible experience. I have called the health and safety department but this is absolutely unacceptable. Went first for a burger and then a cone... First time having it and I thought it was just ok. Definitely great value. Had a five pack of cheese burgers for under $8, which is a great value and then I was up for a dessert and fro-yo, so that was a great treat. The cone was Absolutely hugeamoungous! Me and my family have been coming here for years, always loved it until recently. Why my boyfriend and I were ordering the girl taking our order was visibly annoyed, rolling her eyes and at one point told her coworker " why would you get that much " when we ordered four shakes ( for the family). Once done we stepped over to order food and they forgot to ask if it was for Togo or dine in. When we asked for a bag they looked again annoyed. Over all a very bad experience. I just ordered the cheeseburger and the cheeseburger with jalapeños! There's no real difference between the two cheeseburgers, except one had the jalapeños! There was no wait and the order took about 10 mins, not too bad! They made everything fresh! The burgers were juicy and tasty! I didn't get any ice cream, it was too cold! I have ceoliac disease so, as advised on the website, i asked staff which Ice creams are gluten free. The server seemed confused by the question and lacked knowledge. When they asked the supervisor the supervisor seemed to just not want to be bothered with the request and i was told that none of the ice creams are gluten free. This seems unlikely based on the company website but I didn't want to risk it. There's definitely a lack of staff training and the lack of engagement from staff in a quiet restaurant was dissappointing. read more

We just had a bad incident at the Braum's near our neighborhood. In my husbands orange freeze were multiple food particles. When we tried to call to speak to the manager a woman was all but making fun of my husband while others were laughing in the background. We went back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager, Jose, who was obviously not the person on the phone. While he apologized and offered a refund, it is still not acceptable to have this happen. We believe this was intentional because of the way the woman who took and delivered our order behaved, along with how the phone call went with the employees. We are super sad about this because it is a place we frequent and will no longer go back. Be careful what you get there and inspect it thoroughly before consuming! read more

I am putting this place on every out-of-town visitors "must go to" spot for a cherry limeade. They take a ton of FRESH limes and squeeze them right in front of you, add seltzer (and I go light on the cherry flavoring), loads of ice too. I told my husband - that whenever we are driving anywhere and spot one, we absolutely should stop! (don't ask me, just pull right in, if you want to get some "husband points") The gal got understood my order perfectly, and I know it is horrible for the environment, but I do love those large styrofoam cups - they keep the ice solid for hours in the hot Texas sun. I re-use them for as long as they hold up, so not 1x use for me...and it makes me feels a teeny bit better about myself and my environmental footprint. ALSO this time I got the junior mixed fro-yo cone ($1.69) -- AHH , like Costco from a year ago (when they sold frozen yogurt versus ice cream at the food court). Fantastic. I did spy that they have gingerbread flavored ice cream this holiday season - I would like to try it This location looks new, and was nice and clean. The kids love coming here for ice cream treats and I have to say, Braum's is decently priced. Right now the double dip cone is $2.15 after tax and it's pretty huge! When I was a kid growing up in Plano, Braum's was a spotless place to get a delicious sandwich along with the best dairy products. Braum's has always had great burgers and fries, but the location in Frisco is filthy. Not just dirty, I mean nasty filthy. I wouldn't feed the food from this location to my dogs. We went during lunch hour and the counters were disgusting, tables were dirty, the floor needed to be swept, and the return vent on the filtration system was filled with dust. It wasn't busy and they had plenty of help standing around. My observation is that this location is very poorly managed and needs someone who can clean things up. I hope someone who can improve the cleanliness at this location sees this message and takes it as constructive to improve. But until that happens, I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. read more

Went for a late night craving (9 months pregnant) after waiting in the extremely long drive thru line for 25 minutes I ordered a brownie fudge Sunday was told they didn't have any brownies so I ordered a strawberry shortcake Sunday. It was dirty almost everywhere including the bathrooms and behind the counter. I do understand completely that it gets busy but it also takes seconds to throw a banana peal away or wipe up a spill. Sat in line for 1 hour at the Frisco Braums. You couldn't order, had to go to the window. When we got there they told us they were closed. The manager Helen Said people should know their hours. Disappointing at best. We were a bit concerned because the drive thru line was so long - but it started to move quickly and wasn't an issue - however, the girl at the second window was clearly far from happily employed, and when we got home we realized why it moved so quickly.... see exhibit A&B below. When making a malt, it's always a nice idea to actually MIX the powder into the shake - that is, unless it's a new thing to save it as a "surprise" at the bottom.
