Po'boy
Rohini G.

Tried the soft shell crab sandwich. Thought it was a good portion, batter was well seasoned, and the brioche bun plus fix-ins plus sauce paired well. The po'boy sandwich also tasted good. Fries were nice and crispy as well! All-in-all great spot to stop in and grab fresh seafood!

Scallops with white bean ragu and Swiss chard
Terri T.

This is out go to place for seafood in Cutchogue. They closed during Covid and reopened with a more upscale menu under a new name Brauns Kitchen. Under the appetizers we had the tacos which consisted of 4 tacos with grilled white fish with guacamole and veggies. This was a generous serving which is enough for a meal! I tried the scallops with white bean ragu and Swiss chard. The scallops and the white bean ragu was delicious but the chard was a little under cooked for my taste. Another great option is the grilled Mahi sandwich with perfectly cooked fries.

Fish and chips

The perfect place to go for lunch while you are out in North Fork! They offer outdoor dinning under a tent with picnic tables. Definitely get the fish and chips...the portion was generous. Peel n' eat shrimps was nicely flavored and you can literally just eat the shells. lastly, if you are looking for an healthier option, their offer grilled fish, where you can drizzle it with lemon buttery sauce...the best way to enjoy fish!

Blacken fish???!!! Should change on the menu to burnt fish. If you want CANCER, order this.

Rarely got misled by Yelp. This is one of them:(. Ordered three dishes and threw two away:((( ouch! Blacken fish is rather badly BURNT than blacken. Eel is tasteless. The only eatable one is fries n a small piece of fish. Amen! I would give one star. Two star for the outdoor sitting.

Huge lobster roll

Nothing to write home about, unfortunately. It's just OK. Not fantastic. Huge menu. We had: fish & chips- ordered flounder- received mystery fish that was fatty, chowder- hearty & nice flavor but lots o potatoes, fried bay scallops- they were ultra sweet & fresh but the breaded coating overpowered the seafood, cod cakes- decent but lacked punch, fries & slaw were limp & flavorless. Zero ambiance. TV but no music. Tiny inside seating for like 15. Service is ok. Bathrooms required attention.

Fresh as can be seafood. Perfect lunch between wine tastings. A few small tables to eat in. Great prices and delicious food.

Had the Manhattan clam chowder and lobster roll. Clam chowder was greasy and clams chewy. Lobster roll mediocre and bun was cold

This place is not opened for take out.. Yelp should be sure to report that?

They were. Maybe the time you went it wasn't. But, I took out 3 filet sandwiches and fries plus drinks and we sat in the park and ate them. Give them another try.

My wife and I came here to get some food to go on our way to the Cross Sound Ferry at Orient Point…read more When I found out the kitchen was being cleaned for the dinner shift and they would need 20 mins before they could make my food, I told them I didn't know what to do since I have my dogs in the car. They said we can have them with us on the patio (which is covered from the rain)! So we sat down and split the delicious burger and fries while the doggies laid at my feet. The staff even brought a pie plate with water for them. Highly recommend.

There is a very very calming comfortanble-warm atmosphere here. Just was just a lovely place to sit and spend some time. Again, This was a perfect spot to meet, catchup and do a slide of pie. Our very nice server asked what we wanted and to just fill time before dinner, we went with a coffee and some sweets. We definitely sat for a while whle catching up. We never felt like we needed to order more or we were here too long. I like the vibe here which is why you hear so many people speaking about this place.
