We started coming here a couple of months ago, and I'm now totally addicted. We found this easy-to-miss spot by looking on Yelp and were so glad we did. Brava Cucina doesn't have a restaurant, but it does have a couple of tables and some chairs outside. On our first visit, my son and I ordered our food to-go and waited on the patio. The owner was so nice and brought us out some delicious soup. It was a chilly night, and the soup really hit the spot. We ordered the chicken parmigiana and a spaghetti with meat sauce on this first visit. Our entree came with a soup or salad, and we decided on the salad. Everything was great here. My husband and I both agreed the chicken parmigiana was the best we'd ever had. The garlic bread that came with our meal was amazing. The salad was fresh and delicious as well. Since then, we've ordered the barbecued chicken pizza, which I thought was wonderful. My husband said he thought there was a tad too much barbecue sauce. We also ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, and we all agreed that this was great. This is now our favorite spot to order food to-go. Pizza-only review Medium margarita is about $25- pretty pricey and uncharged $20 for ordering via Uber eats even though we picked it up. Crust is pretty doughy and flops when lifted. There's no tomato sauce so the pizza is a bit bald without it. There is a ton of cheese - gobs of it. If that's your thing then You're in luck. We found it sliding off the doughy crust and full of oil. The few shreds of basil and pale tomato didn't help it much. We've purchased numerous tasty pizzas in the past, but there seems to be changes now. Our pizza was supposed to be a thin crust sausage with light cheese, but they didn't follow directions. The pizza was loaded with cheese, much more than normal to the point that it seemed all cheese - it was quite thick. The crust was normal and certainly not a thin crust. When we said something to the new counter person, she gave us a blank stare without any notion of what to do. She weakly began to take the pizza as if to take it back to the cooks, but that would have been a worse choice. Their waits have become excessive. Since the plandemic began they've had trouble preparing the pizzas in the stated timeframe, and this last order was no exception. Several customers were also waiting, and some were clearly irritated by the wait well beyond what they were told. One customer was waiting at least 15 minutes more than the likely 60 minutes he was promised. Obviously we had no desire to have them make a new one. I'm sorry to say this has soured us on future orders, and knowing there's so many pizza choices, we won't be considering this place first. read more

This review is a few weeks belated, but necessary to share the goodness that you can only experience at Brava Cucina, especially when you want authentic Italian. We came here after a long day of doing outdoorsy stuff and had a craving for pizza - just not the ordinary pizza you generally find at other... pizza places. We ordered a 'Build Your Own' pizza in a large, with a perfect combo of mozzarella, italian sausage, pineapple and olives. The crust was perfection and is blatantly a family-recipe kind of dough, that was baked just enough to add a slight crisp along the top, but just chewy enough on the inside to get your indulgent carb fix. The garlic bread here is not run-of-the-mill, and if you're anything like me and are a fan of buttery, toasty bread that's soft in the middle... you'll appreciate at least one side of it here. Lentil soup isn't something we'd thought of when we arrived, but are so glad we tried it. There's just enough depth to the flavor that it pairs great with the garlic bread and doesn't overwhelm your tastebuds or appetite when pizza or another entree is on the way. And you won't go wrong with the Garden Salad, here. The lettuce was fresh, clean and crisp. The shredded carrots were equally as fresh and the sliced tomatoes were ripe, crisp and clean. The house vinaigrette is amazing - tangy, savory and just enough herbs to make it memorable. Price points are great here, and you could enjoy what we did for around $30-35, depending on what sizes you order. Parking isn't an issue in the shared lot. Seating is outside of the restaurant under a covered patio area. Mark, who you'll likely be greeted by, has been in the business for years and years and doesn't skimp on great service. I've never waited less than 40 minutes for food here. Tonight we decided we wanted to order at 6:24. I had to call six times to get someone on the phone. It was either busy or went to a machine. Finally someone answered and at 6:38 they said my order would take 25-30 minutes. I got there at 6:11 and they said it would still be a few minutes. Other people were also there waiting (and looking annoyed). Although, during that time a Postmates driver came in and got their order right away, so maybe the secret is Postmates. I had to wait another 13 minutes until I got my food at 6:24. 45 minutes after I placed my order and a full hour after the first time I called. I figured it was a Saturday night, they're busy, so I didn't say anything (even though this is not the first time this has happened to me here). But the worst part was, after all that time my order wasn't even right! I waited all that time and I didn't get what I wanted. The guy on the phone even repeated what I said when I called and it was still wrong. When I got home and realized what had happened, I called back and they did refund the two dishes that were wrong (after a lot of embarrassing yelling on my part), but the thing is this is not my first bad experience here. I've waited an extra 20 minutes over the estimated time on a Thursday too. TL;DR the food is fine (don't order anything beyond the basics), but it will take a long time and they will not give you an accurate estimate of the wait either. Not worth it. read more

This place exceeded the hype. Mark was really friendly and went out of his way to help out his guests. I had a BBQ chicken pizza (amazing!) and my kids ate a cheese pizza ( they loved it). Looking at other guests' meals, it looks like all the food is on point. We ordered food and killed some time at the nearby Albertsons. When we came back, Mark gave us the food for free (for taking "too long" to make the pizzas).
