Hands down our favorite restaurant in the Berkshires. To be honest, it is one of our favorite restaurants ANYWHERE. It has a great vibe, the staff are all very friendly, and the wine/beer list is unbelievable. Oh, and the food. It's all tapas style and each dish is more delicious than the next. We love the pizzas, the meatballs, pretty much everything. But the patatas bravas...that dish is seriously one of my top five dishes of all time. They are seriously delicious...and addicting! We got there at 4:30ish to stand in line, which was good because the line got LONG before 5 (on a summer Saturday evening). Every single dish was amazing, though the thing I'm still dreaming of is the chard with black garlic and pine nuts. I'm now obsessed with black garlic. I could have happily ordered 2-3 plates of just the chard and not shared it :) We got sangria, but the beer and wine lists were incredible. Hope to go back someday. read more

We were a group of 10 who came in for a drink (mind you we were 3/4 of the patrons in the bar at 11:30 pm) and were told we were "interrupting people's dinner" (at 11:30? ). As a long established restaurant in Lenox, MA, one would assume that Brava's staff would be competent in judging the wait for a table, even on a holiday weekend. Tonight, I was told 40 minutes for a table, texted 45 minutes five minutes later. After an hour and a half, we were told we were third in succession. I'm in love with this place. It's cozy and casual with excellent food and wine/beer selection. I could come to Brava every night, eat and drink something different every time, and still find it amazing every time. My friend choose from one of the wine flights a thoughtful selection of three wines from a region (Spain, France, ect.). I chose a delicious spanish red. She had the tomato soup but the star was my steamed mussels in garlic/wine? broth. I should note that both dishes were a bit on the spicy side, in a complimentary not overwhelming way. For desert chocolate mouse with 'ruby' port, really not something you can get just anywhere. I late night hours, the cozy feel, the kindness of the staff, I will make a special trip to Brava as often as I can and you should too. read more

Brava was AMAZING! They have the largest selection of beer I have ever seen. Servers were great and the food was to die for. The place is small and intimate and comfortable. If you're in Lenox I highly recommend Brava. I do wish they were open for lunch- the restaurant opens at 5 but they are open until 1am. Not exactly the place you would take a baby but they were very accommodating and we definitely appreciated it. My Riesling really hit the spot and my husbands beer, the Mo, was lovely. Loved this place. We dropped in for a quite date night while in the Berkshires and we were very happy with the food ,the service and the pace. No rush, very friendly and knowledgeable and even though our waiter lost us about 1/2 way through the other waitress/owner(?) on staff took over seamlessly. The food was delicate and uncomplicated but well thought out and beautifully seasoned and the wine and beer list was among the most varied and eclectic i've seen. Used yelp to select and I and my family were not disappointed. This felt like a real local and we were made to feel very welcome. I had some questions about the very extensive beer menu and the sample kept coming before I settled in a nice dark beer. Likewise my wife was offered wine tasting before selecting her wine. We ended up having two pizza and they were perfect. Overall great staff , great beer and wine and great food. How can you beat that. read more

Each tapas we ordered was better than the last. They had a great rare type of red wine on the list that I have been looking for since returning from Montevideo last year - tannat. Good, but not great food with some items well priced but some very overpriced account for my rating. We enjoyed our meal at this pleasant, tiny place that also had very good service. Our foursome ordered a nice variety of plates and rate them on a broad scale. Arugula salad was small with a sparse offering of the almonds, apricots (just about four slivers), and a few tiny cubes of manchego. At $12, this was annoyingly overpriced. Lamb chops were delicious and nicely grilled. Meatballs were spicy and delicious, but the tomato sauce was sweet and one note. Same sauce on the pizza was rather heavy and made crust wet and soft. Liked the calimari and fried chickpeas, but $5 for the tiny portion of chickpeas seemed excessive. Wines ok, cheeses we ordered were fine. Desserts were chocolate-centric, and the one non- chocolate choice bread pudding with berries was dry and a bit sweet. Don't know if we'd go back. Have had better meals for same price. read more

If you like your ingredients fresh, your manchego aged and your salads served with a spoon (?), this is the place for you. Hot and cold tapas are super tasty. The tomato and basil soup was delicious while seemingly relying only on tomato, basil infused oil and salt. The sautéed Swiss chard is heavenly velvety texture and sweet taste. The bruschettas (aka miniature toasts) are pure, balanced perfection. The salads are underdressed -- is current fad -- and I get it, no one likes a lettuce leaf dripping in oil, but still... BEWARE: this place is tiny and fills up quickly. Come early! read more

We stumbled upon Brava when we arrived late Thursday night, and sat outside under the heaters. One of the largest drink menus I've ever seen! Truly have anything and everything you could want. We ended up going back Saturday night. They open right at 5 and there was a line forming around 4:50, and they don't take reservations, FYI! Wonderful service and drinks. Can't go wrong with tapas. We had a build your own cheese and charcuterie board, meatballs, calamari, arugula pizza and tomato basil soup. All were delicious, but our favorite was the calamari and being able to choose our own meats and cheese. 13/10 would recommend! read more

Very happy with dinner here. Food was excellent ....we split the bruschetta with goat cheese, walnuts & fig jam, the meatballs and patatas bravas, after starting with an excellent charcuterie plate. Fantastic selection of beer & wine. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed the entire experience so much except we got lucky and scored the private little counter seating area in the front window. The tables are tiny, crammed together, packed & LOUD. The bar was packed and LOUD - there were two young couple behind us at the bar and they were just ridiculously loud, the men were practically bellowing. Such a relief when they left. read more

Our go to place when we are in the Berkshires! Best chicken wings ever, and the small plates make sharing with a group great fun. Wine list is terrific and the draft beers are on a rotation with a lot of thought given to variety. Open late at night when the town has "shut down", but getting a seat can be tough on Tanglewood concert nights, especially since many BSO musicians are there after performing. This review is for summer 2017 Bravo indeed. First off, it was packed and the wait was about 90 minutes. I actually like this, it means that the restaurant is succeeding and you don't need a review to tell you that. In fact I didn't even see Brava as an option when I was looking online for dinner. The food was good but not great. I thought the flatbreads specifically weren't especially good. The wine was excellent however and the overall experience was great. What I really loved was the waiter, he was a commanding individual who was running the whole restaurant. It was spectacular to watch how he ran a razor thin margin between peoples expectations and what they got. The food just always seemed to be flowing and since it is kind of tapas style you are always about to get something. We ordered a bunch off the menu and really it was only the flatbread we regretted. We did get it last though so we could have just been full. Also, and I swear it could just be how much fun everyone was having and how relaxed the atmosphere was but the table next to us offered their flatbread to us in the middle of the meal. We didn't take them up on that but I think it shows the atmosphere. read more

This was our favorite restaurant in Lenox. It is small but that works for it instead of against it. Brava managed to be comfortable and intimate at the same time.The beer and wine list is very extensive and and the menu has lots to offer. The shrimp and scallops were our favorites and the pizzas are great too. The food is flavored perfectly and is sized just right for Tapas. Nice place, but a few missteps prevent me from giving 5 stars. First, I was excited to see an Alsatian style pizza on the menu with carmelized onion, bacon and creme fraiche. Unfortunately the onions on the pizza were simply sweated, not carmelized. One other small misstep was the man who greeted us was a bit rude, I was about to ask a question and he cut me off with "Do you want to be on the (waiting) list?"
