I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff was phenomenal. I came in with three of my girlfriends to have brunch, and one of my friends brought her dog, and our dog was treated like royalty and even got her own dish. It's super chill cool vibes. This is my second time coming here. I really had a taste of everybody's food. It was really good. I enjoyed my huevos Ranchos I would critique and say it only needs to be a little bit spicier lol but that's my personal preference other than that, it was delicious. Everything else was good. The mocha latte was so delicious. I drank it quickly. I almost wanted to order like three more lol The vibe is super chill. I like how everything is dog themed super cool spot for brunch really nice ambience small but they do well with the space. A lot of outdoor eating we ate outside wasn't too bad. Really enjoyed myself and will be coming back more often

Atmosphere/Service: The atmosphere and setting was very homey. It was my first time going there, and it felt like everyone knew one another. The waitress and waiter had a very positive attitude towards the customers. They were friendly and had conversations with everyone who walked through their doors. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. It is a dog-friendly restaurant. They even have a dog menu. I personally haven't seen that at a restaurant. Food: The food was absolutely delicious. They had plenty to choose from. I got the "Roxy's" Chicken & Waffles: it came with fried chicken tenderloins, served on top of a buttermilk waffle, with honey, bacon, and one sunny side egg. The chicken was so flavorful. It was well season and cooked right. It was crunchy and flaky. It wasn't oily either. That was a huge plus. I also had a bite of the Huevos Rancheros: it came with two fried eggs, two corn tortillas, mashed black beans, pepper jack cheese, grill jalapeño and your choice of salsa served with breakfast potatoes and we added the Carne Asada for five dollars. I also tasted the Avocado Toast: it was serve with guacamole spread sprinkled with red flakes, extra olive oil, cherry tomatoes, arcadian mix, and balsamic glazed drizzle. It was so delicious . We got a side of onion rings they were so good and crispy. Also the pancakes it was thin it looked like a crepe. It was cute came with a paw print. The cappuccino was tasty. The organic strawberries lemonade was delicious and refreshing. The latte was also delicious. Overall: I'd go back if I was in the area again. I recommend it if you are a dog lover and want to find a place to eat with your furry friend. Also they do close early Monday - Friday they are open from 8am till 2:30pm. And Saturday and Sunday from 8am till 3:00pm

We stopped here for brunch on our way north from LA, in search of a good Bloody Mary. It didn't disappoint! Great breakfast tacos (and delicious potatoes), and friendly service. They were hustling too! Definitely recommend.

GETTING HERE: Located in Camarillo off Carmen. It's in the Trader Joe's and CVS shopping center, next door to Spencer Mackenzie's. REVIEW: Cute place with a cute vibe! Lots of doggo decor, which is always a plus for this animal lover. I found myself in need of sustenance and had Braxton's bookmarked for a good while. Finally made it inside! Ordering was a breeze, and the service was awesome, friendly, and sincere. (My only caveat is they had the music PUMPING on our visit, and it was hard to hear my guests. :( We both ordered the Club and it was fantastic! I love Clubs when they are made so tall that you have to descontruct the sandwich to eat it. That's the only way a Club should be prepared, IMHO. :) The sodas were tasty, and we enjoyed the open seating area (we opted to eat inside, although there is plenty of outside seating as well). In reading the other reviews, I know I am due to return to try their other breakfast items. I definitely recommend Braxton's. Thank you!

I thought the food was great. Excellent service, good flavor, nice advice, pleasant environment, and the food comes fast. Such a wonderful option. Made waiting for my car easy. Tasty vegetarian options. I recommend coming here.

Dog friendly but not a ton of shade around noon

Apparently it's their soft opening so I have plenty of notes to share but I don't want to dock stars because I don't want a small business to fail because they might not have all their ducks in a row yet! Suggested improvements/updates; - Add more shaded seating- either put up more umbrellas or move the outdoor tables against the building itself for more shade - Update your menu to be accurate, your poor server had to correct so many things verbally that no longer come as part of a meal - Communicate to your servers what you're 86ing for the day or week

Made a stop here on our way to Morro Bay. Owner stopped by to chat, very nice Asian man who says they make all their food in-house. We tried the Cobb salad, French toast, breakfast burrito, and classic plate. My whole party was happy with their dish. Standard, no frills. Would come back.

My sister and I stopped by Braxton's Kitchen for brunch, and overall, it was a solid experience! The dog-friendly vibe was a huge plus since I brought my little old chihuahua along. She got to enjoy the Braxton & Friend's Special (small), which was such a cute touch for a pet-friendly spot. We shared a few dishes: 1.) Breakfast Burrito - Hands down my favorite. 2.) California Omelette - Alright; nothing crazy. 3.) Spicy Chimichurri Steak Sandwich - Honestly, I wasn't a fan. The steak was way too tough, which made it hard to enjoy. 4.) California Premium Burger with fries - Pretty good! Classic and done right. For drinks, we had mimosas (because brunch, duh) and tried two smoothies: 1.) Maui Madness - Not really my vibe. 2.) Peanut Butter Blitz - This one stole the show for me especially since I'm a lover of peanut butter. Braxton's is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're looking for a spot where your pup is welcome too.

I had heard good things about Braxton's Kitchen but unfortunately things fell a little flat for me. They were nice and made things nice for our little dog, but that's probably about as good as it got. The breakfast "burrito" looked nice, but the hot link didn't have the crisp I as looking for so after a bite you're left with mostly casing versus staying unified. The egg was unseasoned so it didn't add anything and almost took away from the wrap, and I think for the size for the price the value is not even close. The tater tots were okay but could've been crispier? The thing that let me down the most though was that there were two works and the owner? For 1 party inside and 3 outside, but it seemed like it took forever to get our order taken, water refilled, and the check at the end, and we tried to ask nicely but the gentleman who finally helped didn't seem happy to be there so it ended the day on a bad note. The owner was a nice guy though but I don't believe we'll be back

I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, but we always love to sit outside so that we have a really good view of the aircraft coming and going. I tried the BLT and, oh my!!! One of the best I've had, with lots of thick cut bacon, very crisp, lots of lettuce, tomato and mayo (I ordered it as-is). Half was the size of a regular sandwich so the other half went home with me! RRR ordered the triple decker club on sourdough and loved his as well. Half of his went home also. We both got the cole slaw as our side which has a little pineapple in it. I found it ok, RRR really liked it. We shared a special milkshake, pistachio, and it was heavenly, highly recommended. Service was perfect, there when needed but not overbearing. We so appreciate well-trained staff! Highly recommended.

Today we had to be out of the house due to Edison maintenance in your neighborhood. We were originally headed for Ojai, but we were hungry and didn't want to wait that long to get food. I suggested Waypoint since it was a weekday and hopefully wouldn't be that crowded. We hit them just before a lunch rush came along about 30 minutes later. it's probably been a while, but their ordering procedure has changed since the last time we were there. Now you enter, go to the host stand, and order and pay there. Then they give you a number for your order and a host takes you out to a table. It's a variation on fast casual. The idea is that they will start cooking your food as soon as you pay, and the process will flow smoothly from there. They have a lot of runners bringing out the food, and offering additional condiments or other things you might need, like more water or napkins. There are several reasons that I'm downgrading the rating from a previous visit. $18 for a plain Belgian waffle? No fruit, garnish, whipped cream, just melted butter and a very small amount of syrup. It looked more substantial because we added eggs and bacon for $3 more. The latter seems like a good deal, because the eggs were well prepared. Only two slices of bacon, though. DH and I split the plate. $21 for a plain waffle, scrambled eggs, and two pieces of bacon does seem excessive. We added a side of hash browns, which were plentiful, but were also oily. I don't remember having hash browns in another restaurant which were that greasy, so that was a fail. $9 for two cups of decaf coffee? That also seemed on the high side, especially when a tiny (and I do mean tiny!) addition of oat milk for creamer was $1.50. Really? And yet, they offered mini portions of hazelnut or French vanilla creamer for free. But we didn't know that ahead of time. A large glass of lukewarm pineapple juice was $6. I had to ask for a glass of ice cubes to be able to chill the juice down to where it tasted good. By the way, the waffle was slightly overcooked for my preference, making it more crunchy than I enjoy. Overall, it was $50 for a breakfast that DH and I split, just adding the hash browns and juice to stretch the meal. Service was good. It was the kitchen that let down the team. Also, ambiance-wise, the airport has added a large row of hangars to the northwest of the restaurant, which dramatically cuts down the view of the planes taking off and landing. That's actually another fail for the appeal of dining here. It's likely going to be a while before we return. Sad to report today's experience, but that's what it turned out to be - not the lovely little secret getaway of the past.
