Saw this place on instagram and they did not disappoint. This place was located in a nice dining hall with a few other restaurants. You order through a kiosk so your interaction with a person is limited. I ordered the Bmore Sando which comes with a Sando (chicken), dill pickles, old bay (didn't taste) and Bmore sauce. It took about 10 minutes but it was worth the wait. The chicken came out PIPING HOT and was huge as you can see in the picture. The bun was delicious as well. I'll definitely be back if I'm craving a chicken sandwich while I'm in Baltimore.
The chicken lab was closed, so I decided to try BRD. Unfortunately, the chicken is a 2.3 out of five stars. The fries? Literally garbage! Y'all really need to consider selling homemade Ocean City french fries with these chicken sandwiches! The french fries are cooked too long, they're too thin, and they're just like almost eating, potato sticks. Which literally are not good at all. Get rid of those frozen shoestring, french fries, and get some real french fries inside of this place! It would elevate your STORE beyond belief! I don't care what anybody else says, especially when it comes to their reviews. I know food, and those french fries are absolute trash. Ocean City fries would totally boost up your chicken sandwiches well beyond what they currently are. Also? Offer up just simple, lettuce and tomato with mayonnaise. That too, would make your sandwich an absolute winner, totally would be a 4.5 out of five stars with just lettuce tomatoes mayonnaise. Until then,/the changes are made? Definitely my first, and last time eating there. Definitely would not recommend until those changes are made!
A tad disappointed I was anticipating the same quality of food that I received in the rhouse location but this was old and cold .... Different batter. If I ate this first I'd never return but I'll give half the blame to maybe doordash being slow? Idk I wasn't pleased with my food at all.

Service is quick and staff are friendly enough. There are several different sandwiches to choose from and the ones I've tried have all been good. This last time I got their Sweet Chili BRD sandwich which was really tasty. It's a casual place to grab a quick but good bite at times.

My sister and I both ordered the brd box, which comes with chicken tenders, garlic bread, fries, pickles, and 2 dipping sauces. I got the buffalo sauce, and my sister got honey mustard and bbq. The garlic bread is made with hamburger buns, which was unexpected. It was soggy and not what either of us wanted. If you're gonna serve garlic bread, at least serve it right! (On Texas toast) The fries were okay, but nothing spectacular. And the tenders weren't that good. Neither of us liked them. They were just okay. We didn't get the hype at all. The employee who rang us up was very nice. He raved about the food too and wanted to hear our opinion on the food. We'd told him that we were visiting and only came in because some locals told us we should. Sadly, we didn't make it back in, but if we had, we would have probably asked for a refund!! Lol
I happened to be in Federal Hill and decided to grab a sandwich from BRD. They are currently only doing takeout so I got my food to go. I ordered the BMORE BRD which came with pickles and some sort of sauce that had old bay in it. They put the sauce on side in a separate cup which was great because it prevented your sandwich from getting more soggy. The sandwich was a great size but they use dark meat which isn't my favorite. *insert shameless shrug* Overall, the sandwich and service was okay. Next time, I'll try the wings.

Each time, including this one, the sandwich is quality and noteworthy. I tried the Jamaican jerk BBQ sando this time, and I think it's my new fav. Not normally a cole slaw fan, but this time it balanced the Jamaican jerk sauce perfectly. The seasoned fries were delish too!! Looking forward to the next time!
Recently I had a friend mention that they wanted something greasy for dinner, and BRD jumped right to the front of my mind. It isn't inherently a bad thing, but you should be aware of what you are getting into - the bun will be completely saturated. The portion size is incredible (gotta get the double) and fairly priced for the amount of food you get. The chicken itself is delicious, always hits the spot, and the spicy sauce and pickles really round it all out. This isn't food that I would or even could eat every day, but when I am in the mood for it damn does it hit the spot!
I'm very satisfied with the meals I've had from BRD. I've had their Bmore sando a few times. While the best fried chicken sandwich is awarded to another restaurant in Baltimore, this one is still pretty darn good. If the fried chicken was thigh instead of white meat I would like it even more. Consistent quality, I love the sauce and the pickles! Orders placed on Uber eats get made quickly. I just tried the Buffalo wings for the first time today. They're not super authentic Buffalo wings if that's what you're looking for but it doesn't really matter because they are delicious!
The super BRD experience. While I have enjoyed BRD at R House, I always felt rushed to order due to lines, And the menu board was just lettering on black background, making it hard to read, so I never stretched myself and always got the regular BRD sandwich. Don't get me wrong, it is amazing, but I never gave attention to the fact that they had too many other options. Well, my life has changed. The Thai chili wings were pretty good, but not as crispy as I'd like...but the meat was tender and juicy so that was worth it. My partner got a sweet tea and the BBQ sandwich and liked that. The sweet tea was apparently really good on its own, too. The staff was friendly and the wait time wasn't very long. Really a good experience.
BRD has been on my radar for awhile now, and just for the chicken Caesar wrap! While I love fried chicken and chicken in general, there's never a Caesar wrap I won't try! Ordering was easy, even on the self-ordering kiosk and the wrap was prepared in a timely manner. The wrapped traveled well, as I got it to go. It was reasonably priced, too. Above all, the wrapped was delicious! It had a great balance of lettuce and chicken and the dressing was delicious. I personally do not think I would eat in the restaurant, however it was clean and had tons of tables. read more

Finally gotten around to going to this place. I had the chicken Caesar wrap and bbq wings. The wings were okay but the wrap is one of the best Caesar I have ever had. It is a staple of when I'm deciding what to order for the day. Service is a little slow so would recommend ordering ahead. There is seating as well. read more

Somehow I've never had BRD before, but I am so glad they are open for carry-out so I could try it! Our order was ready in under 10 minutes for dinner. I got the original Bmore BRD and split an order of fries. The piece of chicken was HUGE, spilling over all sides of the bun. It was juicy, well fried, not too oily, and very tender. The BRD sauce was sort of like sriracha aioli and was perfectly smothered on the sandwich. There were at least 7 pickle slices, far more than I would've expected. I love pickles so this was a nice surprise. The bun itself was reminiscent of a Chick-fil-A bun, just a potato bun, which was fine, as it was essentially just keeping my hands off of the chicken. Overall, it was one of my favorite chicken sandwiches in Baltimore and could certainly rival some in Nashville. The fries were thin and crispy, and came with their own side of the BRD sauce. They were seasoned similarly to Arby's fries, which paired nicely with the sandwich. Overall, from speed of service to the quality of the food, I loved every part of BRD. I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches!! read more

I've been seeing the spot on Instagram for quite a while so I knew I had to stop by. We went on a game day so they were out of wings but they still had a lot of chicken sandwich options and everything looked scrumptious. I tried the Carolina BBQ bird. They do give you two options for every sandwich, you can ask for regular or spicy. I tried the spicy and it was perfect. I did not see an option to make it a meal so I started off with just my sandwich and figured I would get fries later on if I had space. The sandwich was very filling on its own and I ended up not getting fries. My friend got a milkshake and said the milkshake made the meal that much more enjoyable. I will probably be back to try other chicken options on the menu as well! read more
Part of me was highly disappointed at the overall taste of the chicken sandwich. I couldn't believe There was a strange aftertaste . Those who know me well understands I live by "Every chef has a bad day". I'm not sure if and when I would give this restaurant another try but there is definitely room for improvements. I did enjoy the way all the condiments etc were packaged and the fries. No interaction with the staff since there was only 1-2 employees working at the time. read more

Came to BRD with a group of girl friends after our little day trip to the zoo. We were starving for food and agreed chicken sandwiches were the move. BRD is a part of R house which seems like the perfect place for groups because there are so many different options that everyone will definitely be happy. I ordered the Bmore BRD and was NOT disappointed!!! The sandwich had two fat juicy pieces of chicken and pickles in between the buttery bun. I couldn't take a bite without cutting it because it was so huge!!! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Baltimore. I can't wait to go again and try their other sandwiches read more

I've always been a big fan of BRD and think their food for the most part is great! Not pictured but i tried a bite of their street corn corn for the first time this weekend and was not a huge fan. I'm not sure what it was about it but the taste was just off. I also feel that every time I go there the wait is very long (I am totally understanding of restaurants having staffing issues during COVID but this was an issue pre-COVID as well). They were also quite rude when we asked about how much longer it would take. Besides that my sandwich and fries were delicious as usual! read more
The debate is over! Sorry Popeye's and Chick-fil-A, but step aside. BRD has the hunkiest chicken sandwich out there. It was falling out of the bun (in the good kind of way)! There was a perfect balance of juiciness on the inside and crispness on the outside. The bun was beautifully buttery. I'm obsessed with Old Bay, so I obviously got the Bmore BRD, and it was fantastic. I cannot wait to go back. I can't pick out a single thing I would have changed. And their fries were a great addition. Of the 5 people in our group that got a sandwich, there wasn't even a crumb left. Ordering online was very easy. And the cost was very fair; just look at how big that sandwich is. BRD! Keep up the good work! read more

I'm ecstatic to see BYRD's new location in Fed Hill, conveniently located right across from Cross Street Market. All of the great things you've heard about their food at R.House are just as true for this location! The chicken sandwiches are HUGE -- crispy on the outside, so so juicy and tender on the inside. There's tons of flavors to choose from, but my favorites were the Bmore Brd (who doesn't love old bay?), Katsu (sweet and spicy) and the Hanoi Hen (great Viet twist, but I do wish their daikon slaw was a little stronger). The buns are potato bread which is an extra plus!! All of the sandwiches have a nice kick to them so if you can't handle a lil spice this may not be for you. The fries are so crispy to the point that the texture is insane and DEFINITELY GET THE BRD SAUCE ON THE SIDE. No clue what's in it but it's bomb!! The cookies and cream shake was also good! The restaurant isn't that small, but during the opening week it filled up quickly. Wait time was about 5-10 minutes! Note: they are completely cashless read more

I wanted to give this place a 5 so bad but keep reading and I'll let you know why it's not and y'all are going to think I'm crazy for even giving 4. This was a place amazing. The chicken was made once we ordered so it was hot and fresh when we got it! The chili Thai wings were to die for as well as the French fries. I had the BMore Sandwich which was of course as wonderful as it looks in the pics. Until the end I found a small black hair on top. I just left it alone and threw it off and ate around (I was pretty much done anyway) I was moving around the pickles for maybe one more bite and found another black hair in IT. Sams size same looking hair. I didn't say anything because I hate being the bitching customer right after finishing my full meal. My only request take better precautions in the kitchen. The kitchen was ran by 4-5 women with long hair. Only 2 had their hair pulled back. Other than that food was wonderful read more

It was me first time at this spot! This sandwich was called the BMORE BRD. I give this a 0.5/5stars. It was that bad... I am not sure how or why everything fell apart as soon as I tried taking a bite.... it was like the breading slipped from the chicken thigh meat: I prefer it being white meat.... I also got wings and fries... which were both warm. I can't say I'll be back. I had high hopes for this restaurant based off their Instagram posts. I feel like my moment was wasted. They also refused to give me a refund / discount coupon for my entire order of sandwich, fries, and chicken wings. I will NEVER come back here. read more
A high chicken to bun ratio, and even higher breading to chicken ratio. I often enjoy this (especially in onion rings), but I think I now prefer a thicker chicken patty (is this a transition to adulthood?). I love the variety of chicken sandwich options. I do wish they were open a little later on Thursday nights, so that they could be a good option for post-out food, they close a bit too early. I still like Ekiben better, but the late night timing gives BRD an edge for sure, and the fries are also a plus. read more
