When I came here, I had no idea what to expect. Based on the name, I actually thought that this was going to be more of a sit down full service type of place. I came here based on a recommendation from a friend. The sitting and dining area is very spacious and casual. I love that their walls are covered in their logo. It is so cute. To me, the prices are a bit higher than I expected, but not terrible. Their breakfast tacos were delicious, but on the slightly salty side. I requested hashbrowns instead of the potatoes that are fried. I really appreciate the fact that they have fountain drinks that are refillable. The wait time was a little long, but that also is because there were several takeout orders that have been placed ahead of mine. I would like to come back here again, some time when I have more of an appetite. Free parking is available in their small lot. If it is full, give it a moment. Mexican-Armenian breakfast cuisine - imho nothing can go wrong with that kind of cultural combination. I ordered the basturma taco, a pairing I never thought I'd hear. Basturma is a highly seasoned, air-dried, cured Armenian beef, and it was the chef's kiss. The eggs were fluffy, the cheese was oozing, and the beef brought just the right amount of spice. This place really functions as a third space -- there's seating, parking, and it's walkable (I walked). Local contractors were coming in and out, and at one point a young person was sitting there reading a book. A book! Quirky, local, and genuinely interesting -- exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want to support. I'll be back the next time I'm hungry. Been wanting a good breakfast burrito and we found it. The ratio of egg potatoes and other ingredients was perfect, paired perfectly with the cilantro lime salsa. Also, they have juices and coffee too which we ordered coffee. You can order dine in or to go. The interesting thing I noticed about this location that they place all the orders in a bag ready to go which makes it easier to carry. You don't have to go back to cashier and ask for a bah. One of the things that caught my attention was the choice of color. Chairs and tables are yellow which is not very common for cafes/ restaurants. I think it was a great choice. Been here a few times now ever since they did a Yelp event for it and it's one of our favorite breakfast taco/burrito spot lately!! Parking lot is tiny, lots of 20 min spots so most people order theirs for take out. The last time we were here, it was packed, incredibly packed lol. We got lucky today where only two other parties were there. Tables are limited but they also have some out front along with bar seating. The service is great, the lady who has helped us every time is super nice and they are very generous with the sauces! They don't have the sauces listed on their menu for some reason but make sure to ask for their chipotle ranch because it's so good with the cilantro Creme! We typically get the tacos but this time I wanted to try their bowl. Insanely good!! Scrambled eggs, choice of meat, cheese, and even TOTS!! I added avocado in mine as well and it was perfection. I ordered a burrito with bacon, mushrooms and avocado, and it was such a stacked burrito to say the least! It had tots, egg and cheese and let's not forget about their sauces! First time trying Bread and Breakfast. Overall the burritos were good. What ruined it for me was the cheese they use. The cheese tastes like Kraft American slices, the kind that come in square plastic wraps. It reminds me of the cheese in a childhood bologna and cheese sandwich. It tastes cheap and processed. The cheese also clumps in parts of the burrito instead of spreading evenly. Some bites have too much cheese. Some bites have none. The texture and flavor throw the whole burrito off. The burrito was a good size and definitely shareable. It was also very tasty. My issue was the meat ratio. For a $16 burrito it would have been nice to taste the steak or the bacon. Not bad!! I got the sojoukh breakfast burrito and my boyfriend got the pastrami one. I will say I did not get much of a sojoukh flavor in mine, with a few small pieces. It also did not have much else going on but the cilantro crema and salsa verde that come with the burrito accompanied it well! And pricey too. I couldn't finish it; I'd rather have half the size and half the price. Second, the music was blasting too loud. Hankering for a breakfast burrito, so I drove my ass on a Sunday all the way here across 2 freeways because you know I would. And the eggs aren't just some quickly overcooked mess, but nicely scrambled and a bit fluffy. They take their time here with these bad boys. This is an excellent burrito, all the way to the last bite. Side note: I don't know about you but the best part of a breakfast burrito - or any burrito for that matter - is the very bottom, where all the juices have accumulated. Second side note - about the area: so this is Burbank, which is like the gateway to the valley and makes home to various entertainment studios, IKEA and not much of anything else. This burrito is massive (double the size of a wake and late burrito) and it comes with a spicy pepper sauce and crema on the side. Both pair so well with the burrito. I tried the Soujouk burrito and it exceeded my expectations! It's like an Armenian chorizo with a tangy, lemony flavor that balances out the heaviness of the rest of the burrito. Cannot rave about this enough!!! Our first time trying this place today - had quite a wait (~20-25 mins) for the food, but the food was soooooo amazing. We got 2 breakfast burritos- carne asada and the sausage + bacon. The burrito has potatoes, eggs, and cheese with your choice of protein. It was so hefty I could only eat half of it. Each order comes with cilantro crema sauce, and the house spicy salsa. We also ordered carne asada sliders and it comes with their tater tots (which i believe they use beef tallow to cook it) Everything was so good I cannot think of anything to say. We drove our food back home to eat (25-30mins) but everything was still warm (DID NOT GET SOGGY) and the tots were still so crispy it did not get soggy i was so impressed!
