The service was really terrible. Both times I came here I was ignored by staff. I am vegan and allergic to dairy and they have no idea which syrups have dairy. They have no vegan options. Definitely would not recommend wasting 30+ minutes of your life standing in line here. read more

I have tried bread and butter a couple of times in the past, but have not been recently. Not a conducive space for working if you need privacy. The food was okay, muffin was very dry. I was not greeted when I walked in and was also skipped because someone came in that they knew, so no one asked if we was ready to order or if it was okay for them to go ahead of me. Food and drinks are very tasty and well made. This location is NOT CLEAN! There is dust and crumbs over the pastry cases and floors (I came here in the morning so it's not like it was a days full of customers). The girl taking my order had to ask me to spell out the three things I wanted multiple times (clearly not paying attention to what I was saying) and still managed to put down the wrong thing so she had to get a manager to fix my order. The customer in front of me reached over the case and touched the pastries while asking what they were and she didn't ask them to stop, she didn't throw the contaminated pastries away afterwards either. read more

Ventured out of the normal stomping ground and so glad I did. This coffee shop is in on the corner of the square in downtown Covington. It is extremely charming and welcoming. The selection of pastries blew me away. They had a wide variety of cake options, scones, mini cheesecakes, cookies and my favorite the cinnamon roll!! They have the best cinnamon roll I have ever had at a restaurant!! The coffee shop has a wide selection of places to sit. It is perfect for a coffee date or telecommuting. The coffee is also great. I would suggest the iced vanilla latte. read more

We love the location downtown and visit often. However, the second drive thru location on 278 leaves much to be desired. Several times now, I've asked for sugar with my coffee. They don't have sugar.. they offer me stevia, Splenda, equal and sweet n low instead. How and why does a coffee shop not offer sugar? The employee on my last visit literally laughed at me beside I kept asking for sugar as she brought me all of those "fake sugar" replacements. She finally said they have white sugar, and brings me a bright pink pack of sweet n low. How do they not know what real sugar is? It's so odd and definitely won't go back. read more

This bakery took FOREVER and for only two things. The tea blood bags were cute but tasted like plastic and cheep Starbucks through a pool floatie . The atmosphere was pretty cool, but the ordering setup made things kind of confusing. One of our orders got messed up due to 2 counters being used for orders and drink making. I went with some friends and none of us were really pleased with our beverages. The matcha latte was yucky. The smoothie was soupy. The Vampire latte was too cinnamony/spicy to enjoy. The blended latte was poorly blended, all the caramel was stuck to the bottom. The tiny cheesecake was good but very tiny. This was a really tricky one to rate. For the area, I would say this place is above average. That does not, however, translate into amazing. Since they are classified as a bakery, I feel comfortable giving them 4 stars for their breads and baked goods. Perhaps the quiche would have been the right choice, but If you are looking for lunch, this is much more of a market type experience than a deli. You basically pick prepackaged items from a refrigerated section to eat. They do not make these sandwiches or salads to order. One cool aspect of purchasing a salad is that all toppings are packaged separately, so you can decide what you want or don't want on your lettuce. However, if you want, say, a chicken salad sandwich, and all they have is an $18 chicken salad sandwich tub, they will not give you a smaller portion of the chicken salad, nor will they make you a sandwich on the spot. On a coffee note, you do get to choose your own mug from the wall of mugs if you're having coffee in. It also does seem to be a local hangout, so the atmosphere is nice. read more

First thing, this is such an open space, and I wish that something like this existed when I was still in school. I've seen this place full and empty, and it's still quiet either way. Also there's a room full of community donated books! I'm a sucker for free books, so I love that idea. Bakery: there isn't anything that I would buy everyday (read: should bc $$), but I keep coming for those eclairs because I'm weak willed and have no self-control. Coffee: if you've ever been to Octane, prices are about on par or less than theirs. Sauces are made in-house, which is a cool touch! The coffee they use is a local up-and-comer, and it's amazing. Finally, a non-chain that doesn't feel intimidating! Staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is really unique to this part of OTP. I'm ready to trade in my Sbux Gold card for better things. read more

Soooo good and friendly staff. Huge difference from Mystic Grill which I hear is owned by the same person. Had the famous slice of Canolli cake and my son had chocolate.
