Nice place to enjoy sandwiches and cafe food outside if it's nice weather. Food is delish.

But no means was the service stellar, but we found the food delicious. My husband had the strawberry crepes which were good. had a salmon egg Benedict and vanille mocha. The Benedict came with a salad instead of the hash browns mentioned on the menu. Unfortunately, the salad seemed old and wasn't crisp. Nonetheless, everything else was great.

Came here with my mom-- great because we found parking in back and came through the back door. Always bustling atmosphere and great for chai lattes :) Our waitress was very kind and service was wonderful. I had a lamb gyro yummm. It comes with chips or a salad. It's quite filling. My mom and I split a cheese danish because a treat is always nice. Quite good! The desserts are soo tempting up front... one day I shall get a cake!!! :)

Got the spinach and mushroom quiche with hot tea and a bakery treat. The quiche was extremely cheesy with a flaky crust. Definitely going to order again. The side salad wasn't needed but appreciated. The bakery treat was a tiramisu layered dessert 10/10 can't wait to try again

Stumbled upon this little cafe. Was super tempted by the pastries but decided to sit down and got the bircher muesli. Never had it before so I didn't really know what to expect but the dish is served cold which I was kinda happy about. Reminded me a little of a parfait. Tons and tons of fruit including grapes, strawberries, green apple, cantaloupe and a little bit of orange. I ordered an Americano and asked for milk on the side. Americano is a good size and pretty strong. Used up all the milk ha! Anyway, plenty of seats inside and a cute patio out front. I'd give it a try :)

Stopped for coffee and croissant. Cute outdoor seating area with table service if you want to dine in. Service was quick. Out iced coffee was really good came in cute mason jars. The croissant was just ok, I was excited since it is a pastry shop but definitely a good little coffee shop if you are in the area.

Came here because I had passed it so many times and wanted to try a new latte! The interior is huge! We decided to sit outside on their sidewalk patio that is covered because we had our dog with us. I was surprised it was a formal sit down restaurant. I had assumed it was a order-at-the-counter place. The service was super friendly. The latte was delicious!!! Exactly how I like them. Not too sweet w strong coffee flavor. The quiche was also very very good! The salad was meh. Basically just spring mix w a little bit of dressing. I do think this place is a bit overpriced, but that probably is necessary for the location and huge size of the inside. I would come back for the latte and maybe a quiche!

Solid coffee, pastry and brunch cafe. Nice variety of menu items, breakfast, salads, sandwiches and of course the pastry counter. It was difficult for me to tell what was actually made fresh in house (like if the kitchen was also a bakery), even the pastries up front in the counter. We tried the Meusli, quiche lorraine, tuna sandwich, and hot chocolate. All were pretty average, good but didn't blow me away. The quiche and sandwich came with side salads which was nice, I asked about the dressings and unfortunately all were bottled. Still good though. What was really good was the hot chocolate, the bread on the sandwich, and the fruit on the meusli. Everyone was really friendly, the atmosphere was nice (there is a nice outdoor patio) and family friendly, and the prices were decent (about $50 for three lunches and non-al drinks before tip).

Excellent coffee to go (especially loved the cream) Cherry danish looked better than it tasted. Not too much cherry flavor, but the cherries were there. Blueberry scone was soft with blueberries that were there but were more of a mildly flavored scone. Best thing about the place is the comfortable Coffee house atmosphere. Nice outside tables.

Lovely wine bar in Cleveland Park!…read more We dined in on a Friday night with a party of six. They had seated us in the front window, but the sun was really shining so they were very accommodating, and helped to move our table into a shadier spot. We started with a round of cocktails and appetizers. My husband enjoyed the apricot Manhattan and I tried the Key West daiquiri. The lavender and pea cocktail was also very refreshing. The hummus platter featured four different hummus's. The harissa was our favorite. The Burratta salad and tart flambe was nice to share. We proceeded with ordering three bottles of wine and a few entrees. The petite fillet was delicious. The spring gnocchi was flavorful and the chicken Milanese was a nice portion. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a slice of Dulce de Leche cheesecake with a candle! Service was very nice. Clean bathrooms and short walk to Cleveland Park Metro.

Little Blackbird is phenomenal!…read more I've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Great service from super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff. A large wine list that they know back to front and can recommend wines from based on your food choices and personal tastes. An elegant but not ostentatious interior. But first and foremost, incredible food. There have been a few items I was unsure of when reading the descriptions, but I have always been blown away by the thoughtfulness and balance that comes with each or their dishes. Of note, their seared scallops that came with a savory and sweet white chocolate sauce were one of my favorite dishes of 2025. Not to mention, the prices here are reasonable and not unnecessarily inflated like other places that market themselves as wine bars. I hope the success here signals a shift in the wine bar model toward unpretentious but thoughtfully designed dishes for a reasonable price. Overall, Little Blackbird is an incredible restaurant that I think deserves more recognition. I will certainly be back soon.

( This review is based on delivery via a third-service provider .... )…read more I ordered from here for Nowruz (Persian new year) -- and everything I received was very, very good! I say 'everything I received' because I didn't receive my drinks -- but the food was all great! The Chickpeas were well-cooked and flavourful, bathed in a tasty red sauce, the Buranee Bademjan eggplant was nice and soft plus super-tasty, and the salata added a nice crunch -- I ate mine along with the chickpeas, mixing some of each in my spoon, bite-by-bite. I do feel the salata was rather small for the price, and feel you -- the customer -- should know none these dishes do not come with rice or bread. It would be nice, I think, if this fact were written in the descriptions -- but apparently, those are AI-generated, or at least the one for the Chutney Sabz is, and it's definitely not what you get! The description says you get four things, but you only get one. Maybe I should've known that from the price, but I only figured it out later, after I'd gotten it. It wasn't clear to me, because I saw both names and photos of four different things and they all sounded so good! It was still rather perfect. It was nice to not have leftovers, too! It's not that I wanted the rice or bread, by the way -- I didn't -- but it's just nice to know in advance what you're getting, with clarity! I do highly recommend this place!

These were delectable! The lentils reminded me of Indian chana dal - very savory and full of flavor. The service was speedy! The restaurant gets pretty crowded, but the food comes out hot and fresh. The ambiance is beautiful - lots of mood lighting/individual lamps at each table with some cultural elements. I cannot wait to come back and try their rice dishes! Do not miss out on this wonderful spot.
