Placed an online order for pick-up. When I arrived no one was up front working on any sandwich's or prep. A man came out to...greet me...sorta. He didn't say one word. He pointed right, then pointed left. I said I was here for a pickup order. He then pointed left and right again. He walked in the back. His first words to me were "fried chicken". That's it. With a questioning tone. So I replied back the best I could. I had to wait for them to come out and start my order, even though I pre-planned and ordered online ahead of time. My review is on par with the rest on here. If the Zeppelins weren't so tasty I would abstain from this place...yet, that is life. Two walk-up orders, that arrived AFTER me have ordered and left. I let the employee know it was my first time in and he failed to tell me it was an extra charge for each topping after 4 & an up charge for chicken which was 2.99 for a measly scoop & on top of that they give you half of a half of an avocado for $1.99 & also don't tell you that either. So after it was all said and done my salad was $15. If you want an equally as good salad for half the price go to Jason's deli or literally any other place where you can build your own. If you're looking for it to be the zeppelin then I can see the appeal otherwise I don't. Broccoli cheddar soup is super yummy I would probably come back for that if I was in the area. Hold on to your hats salad lovers because Bread zeppelin is here, and this ain't your average salad bar. This is the BEST salad/sandwhich place I think I have ever been to. You stand in front of a bar and can choose from 6 different types of lettuce and what looked to me like over 16 toppings. Do you like chicken, tofu, beans, corn, olives, nuts, dried berries? Because they have all of that to add to your salad and more...chopped into small yummy bites. You can choose to have the bread zeppelin, which means they will stuff your salad into a warm crispy bread loaf; or you may choose to have a chopped salad in a bowl. I couldn't decide between the bread zeppelin or my salad in a bowl. So for a dollar more I was able to get half and half. My salad was stuffed into the warm bread, and what was left over went into the bowl. I can't WAIT to visit this place again. read more

We went here about a month & half ago and it was horrible! Our salad wasn't chopped and our chicken was raw. My son got chicken fingers and it took 15 minutes and was basically burnt. I filed a complaint after we left and never heard back from the manager. This location was great back in 2017 but it has gone down hill since then. Go get a salad anywhere in Southlake. read more

There's a huge crack that goes around the very thin shell and I've no idea how I'm going to eat this as it will most definitely fall apart. Not impressed. Over hyped. $10 salads can't compete with $5 tacos and BBQ around the corner. In a day of low-carbs, the bread Zeppelin just doesn't fly. Our salad amounted to nearly 1/2 a head of ice burg lettuce, 1/2 and avocado and 2 ounces of chopped steak. The only redeeming elements of our family lunch was 1). Good service 2). This was my first experience with Bread Zeppelin. I came with a friend around 2pm, so not many people were in the restaurant. Food was good but service was below average. It's subway/chipotle/build your own set up. I decided to get a Zeppelin with egg, chicken, corn, and feta cheese. I waited for 15-20 mins (after I had made my bowl and picked the options) at the store and two people behind me were told to go pay (their food got made first even though they were behind me in line) before my food was even made. My friend got her Zeppelin and was forced to wait for me since they made my food so slow. Overall, food was good, and it's a really great business concept. The customer experience may keep me from coming back. I can understand a wait if the store was busy but it was not packed at all. read more

This is such a bad location. The sandwich maker didn't know what balsamic vinegar was and said they didn't have it. He said they have malt vinegar, the other girls working just stood there puzzled about the balsamic vinegar that is listed on the menu under dressings right above their heads. Unbelievable!!! In the end he really loved it and said he definitely wants to come back. We both got the zeppelin style, which in salad stuffed in the bread. We got the Southwest style with the avocado ranch. This is about the service. The sandwich-zepplin is delicious. They are very disorganized. Two of the guys were having a disagreement right in front of me and it was super awkward. Nobody looked like they wanted to be there. The same guy asked me three times what I had as if he could not remember after five seconds. Then after they mixed everything in the bowl, they just stood there. There was no communication, so I was wondering what was going on. Then they asked me again if that was mine, how was I supposed to know? There were several orders going on. Then finally the guy let me know they were waiting for the bread. They could've let me know that in the beginning instead of just watching us wait. Their items were not stocked, and things did not look like they had been wiped down in a while. No one said thank you and that is a big deal for me. I would rather order it from DoorDash because at least I don't have to talk to anyone and get rude service or not be told what is going on. read more

I have been a steady patron along with my company partners for the last year. I went tonight with my wife and sister and ran into a manager that was not customer friendly. After I saw that my salad was 2/3 full I asked the manager why the salad was not full. He told me that he was having a bad day and I responded that he should quit to which he responded with a F bomb. Thanks for the great customer service but this was my last visit to your establishment. Had to update. The owner responded right away, which is great customer service!! He assured me it is being taken care of. Look at your receipt before you leave!! The food is good, can't complain on that front. My husband really likes it, and has bought sandwiches there often for him and his colleagues. I went yesterday on my lunch break to pick up sandwiches for my husband and me. Was in a bit of a hurry, and didn't notice I was overcharged for an extra sandwich until I arrived at my husband's work in Grapevine. Had to go back to the store to get it corrected, which: 1. took a while, so I was late getting back to work. 2. The original overcharge is still showing on my bank ledger. I hoping that it gets corrected, so I don't have to go back for a 3rd time. The concept of the restaurant is great, and so is the food. The atmosphere & customer sevice, not so much. The new employees need a little more training before being left on their own. This place is a unique concept on a standard hogie and I am a fan. Basically they take a small sub and carve out the warm goodness and then pack a salad inside. Some good tips to know is you can use the menu as a base line and you can substitute out ingredients with no up-charge. For an example I did not want onions so I traded those out for a hard boil egg, I also did not want ice burg lettuces so I traded that for spinach. Another biggie tip is you have to ask for the inside of your bread otherwise they don't give it to you and that is the best part of the bread so make sure you ask or you will regret it. It is free to get the inside of your bread but they do wrap it separate and that's nice too. read more

This is my go to when i want a salad in a bread roll (yeh that does happen sometime). When the buffalo chicken is available i go with that (adding red onions) or go with my stand by, the Metropolitan Cobb with the avocado ranch dressing. Its little pricey but i go here a couple times a month and ive never had a bad salad-salad-sandwich. This place is amazing! They had great choices in lettuce/salad mix, a huge spread of fixin's, and their homemade dressings were bomb dot com. I suggest the Champagne vinaigrette. Alex mixed my salad and was super awesome and offered me samples of the dressings on pieces of the baguette innards from the zeppelin and even suggested what would taste good with the Mexican feel my salad had.
