I normally drive over to Irvine to get a Zeppelin, so I was excited they were opening one here in Southlake. However, I was surprised when I opened my sandwich, the baguette was only about 3/4 full, my husbands was the same. Irvine always stuffs them completely full. If you're paying $10 for a sandwich, you expect a full sandwich! I will try them again, as I'm hoping it was just that they were new and that they will get it right soon! Update- I went for a second visit (probably my last visit) and brought friends hoping they had worked out the kinks since my last visit. Sadly this visit was worse. They seem very stingy with ingredients at this location. Both the sandwiches and salads ordered weren't chopped properly and even though we continued to ask for more dressing, they hesitated to add it and everything was dry! Anyone that loves their flavors mixed together will love this style. You select your flavors and they chop it all together. Once mixed, they stuff it into the hollowed out lightly toasted bread (I asked for mine - my favorite part of the bread too). Definitely order the bread pudding as you won't be disappointed. This is my absolute favorite salad place since the closing of Sweet Tomatoes in north Texas. They offer fresh delicious salads, you choose your toppings /dressing and they sort of chop it all up and either put it in a bowl for you or they put it inside of a baguette. I know it sounds weird but it is totally delicious they cut the baguette and half scoop out the insides (they make croutons out of the leftover bread )and they stuff your salad down in the sandwich so it's sort of like a Hot Pocket but stuffed with salad it is yummy yummy! I actually prefer to get it in the bowl tho, I feel like you get more for your money and you also get to choose more toppings with it being in the bowl. I guess it is because the bowl can actually hold more weight than the bread. Either way it goes it is all around delicious and I absolutely love this place! They need to start building them all around Dallas Fort Worth and not just in North Dallas area because we have to drive a while to get there but it is all worth it read more

Slowly but surely Bread Zeppelin is making it's way closer to Fort Worth. I really enjoyed what I had- the Tejano Caesar with chicken stuffed into a Zeppelin- they take a fresh hoagie roll, cut off the tip and pull out all the soft bread. Then they chop your salad ingredients into smithereens and proceed to stuff it into that roll. The guy who took our order was sweet- he was really upbeat and friendly and fast. This place is so good! There are a few reasons it got four stars instead of five. While the staff was friendly, NOTHING was explained to me as I stood puzzled looking at the menu. Despite my unresolved confusion with the menu, I still got a very well made Zeppelin! I got a lone star, no tomato, sub banana peppers and avocado ranch. I had never heard of this place before and it was great; it could easily be a new favorite! I am thinking the staff maybe was just new, so I imagine with more experience, they will improve. WOW is all I can say! It is going to be impossible for me to not eat this for lunch everyday! I got the Metropolitan Cobb with the dressing on the side. I also added bread on the side. So glad I did! This place is a bit overrated, in my opinion of course. It's a great atmosphere, nice decor, clean, but I was very underwhelmed by my salad. I think the Zeplin is where it's at. Food is always great, the staff are hit and miss. Came in today at 2p and one of the male staff was clearly upset about something. I have had this sandwich over 50 times. Most disappointing one I have ever had. I had about 60% of what I am accustomed to. Never going to this location again. If you have kids don't waste your time here cuz they only have soda and sweet tea for drinks. Wish it would be kid friendly since it seems like a healthy alternative to fast food, but makes it difficult to go here when my daughter has nothing she'd like. I enjoyed this salad place. It wasn't boujee like Snappy Salad's and you feel normal getting a salad. A normal price of a salad that you would get anywhere else. Ordered the Pacific Beach salad with shrimp. VERY bland. The shrimp had no flavor, and all of the other ingredients sounded fantastic, but the salad was mostly lettuce. I'm a huge salad fan, and eat salads frequently, but this was the first salad that didn't fill me up, and really tasted like being-fat-is-a-better-option.
