Had a pretty meh experience today. Sign on the door says order on-line or over the phone only. So, I download the not very user friendly app and place the order. Submitted at 5:17 PM. For the next 20 minutes, I'm just hitting refresh on the app waiting for it to say the food is done. It just keeps saying "preparing." So, finally after over 20 minutes of this, I call to ask if the order is ready. Girl on the phone says order was never received. What?!? I paid for it through the app and everything! Then she says "oh! It just came in right now." Sure it did. So we wait 19 more minutes and go in and get it. Then we get home and the sandwich has no avocado which I added. Also, there are these tooth breakingly hard pieces. I think they were the candied pecans. So, I had to dump everything in a bowl and pick them all out. They were inedible. Hard as a rock. Unacceptable. Bad experience. $37 for 2 sandwiches that were really disappointing. read more

This is one of my favorite places to eat! But it's poorly managed. I have yet to see a manager here. The poor staff is running around like crazy because it's understaffed. I blame management. Either they are too lazy to work or trying to save a dime by not staffing adequately. There is a line if 14 people- literally out the door on a Sunday at 2:30. There is 3 guys running ragged. I firmly believe the B rating they got from health department is because they are running around like crazy and cannot keep up with the cleaning and trying to keep the customers happy. Nice lunch spot. The honey and I were cruising around on a Saturday as usual and we ended up here for a quick bite. I had the Cajun zeppelin with shrimp and avocado. I didn't eat all the bread because I "try" to watch the carbs. But I liked it and I hope that they add more options. read more

This is one of those "Salad bar, but we make the salad for you" kind of places. You tell the workers behind the counter what kind of lettuce and toppings you want, along with premium add-ons, like grilled chicken, fresh avocado, etc. They have all sorts of fresh veggies, and they have a bunch of home made salad dressings. They have pre-designed ideas with toppings that go together, or you can make your own. (My one complaint is if you add on too many toppings they start to charge extra per each single veggie, instead of being like a sandwich place model of "all the basic veggies are free." Ok, so far so good, if it was just great salads I would give the place 4 stars. But they do something really creative; they make French bread bageuttes, and hollow them out, and then they STUFF the salad INTO the hollowed out bread...Zeppelin. And it is seriously some of the best French bread ever; if this was a sandwich place, I would probably love it just as much, because the bread at most chain sandwich places is really wimpy. This is a really crusty French bread, and the inside is really soft. They use the part of bread they hollow out to make croutons, so nothing is wasted. I usually get the Southwest, which has avocado, tomato, corn, black beans, and some kind of Mexican cheese. (And then I add fresh jalapenos to give it some kick.) Came in during the end of lunch today to grab a salad to go. There were several people there already eating but no one in line, so I walked right up to the counter. The first guy I talked to was friendly. I told him it was my first time and he immediately jumped into an explanation of the difference between the bread and bowl - pretty simple. I chose the Atlantis which is their version of a greek salad. When I told him no tomatoes, he asked if I wanted to sub something in for them - recommending the red peppers. Took him up on it - good choice. The next guy who chopped the salad was also quite friendly, asking me about my weekend and taking interest in the activities that I brought up. The salad was great and the ingredients were very fresh. The service was excellent and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I will definitely be back. read more

I really loved this place! I had never been or heard of Bread Zeppelins before so i was really walking in completely unbiased. I loved all the different salad options to choose from and the ability to build your own if you're feeling adventurous. The ingredients were fresh, crisp and tasted amazing! I ordered the Pacific Beach with Cucumber Dill Dressing. Delicious! Not to mention everyone behind the counter had smile on their face. It goes a long way. I will definitely be back! read more

8/12/20 at 1:30. I had been talking to my best friend about this place for weeks but after we ate I quickly took my referral back. We were both disgusted with the customer service; the two girls working were rolling their eyes the whole time when we asked for extra dressing on the side and they were obviously not very happy to go the extra mile. I mean hey, you took the job! Also, I was concerned when I noticed that both of them weren't even wearing their masks correctly. It defeats the purpose of the mask when it's well below your nose. She also stiffed me. Half of my salad she put into the Zepplin and the rest was thrown out. I got a total of four pieces of lettuce the rest condiments, not even a full salad. As you might have guessed, I would not recommend this place again. The food itself was okay but my entire experice was soured due to the lack of customer service. I'm not a Karen, I'm actually 18 and was hoping for a fun lunch with my friend that was unfortunately ruined. read more

The food is yummy and they get everything right when you order in store because it's right in front of you but don't try online ordering! They mess it up every time. Twice now I didn't get the extras I paid for (chicken, avocado) and my husband's had a bunch of random stuff in his he didn't order(artichoke and tomato) I'm not sure why they can't get it right because they literally have a printed out list of the ingredients you order. Good lord. Bread Zeppelin is normally way too slow, but this location seems to take it to a new level. We ordered online (wishing to avoid the normal snail's pace food prep and long line), arrived 30 minutes later, and the order STILL was not made. It's a shame because the bread zeppelin concept has great food, but they need some serious help with workflow management. First time here. Clean restaurant with good smells right inside. The signature salads are filling and delicious. Took out a salad to go and got two zeppelins to eat here. The bread is fresh and has a great texture and does make it be closer to a sandwich. I went with the suggested dressings since they have a huge selection of fresh dressings. Ordered bread pudding to try like a dessert as well and it's awesome. They make the bread pudding and croutons from the pulled bread out of the zeppelins. I imagine this place like a Freebirds of the salad industry. Everything is chopped up and blended well so you don't end up just eating lettuce in a bite. Fresh lettuce mixes make me happy cause it's more than just romaine and iceberg which you see in most other places. The unsweet peach mango tea is really good too. I really have no complaints at all. There's even a reward system in place that's free to sign up for frequent visitors. I signed up cause I want to come back as much as I can. Absolutely love this for a fresher healthier lunch and dinner than having to fill up on unhealthier choices. Their chip selection is good too but didn't want any this time around. This location is right next to Nebraska Furniture Mart so if you shop there, skip Subway from inside there and enjoy a better salad/sandwich here. You won't regret it. read more

Came here for lunch after my coworkers and I decided we wanted something different. One of us had been here and suggested it. First the good. I enjoyed my sandwich - excuse me, my zeppelin- I had the lone star and subbed chipotle ranch for the wasabi dressing they normally use. The steak was tender and had a good flavor and the spring mix lettuce and veggies were all fresh. Workers were friendly and answered any questions or special accommodations I wanted. Now the bad. It took 30 minutes from arriving to get through the line. Their system is so inefficient it is crazy. I don't know if another bread oven is needed or more employees making the bowls/zepplins but half an hour is ridiculous! Also, it was 84* outside this day and it was warmer inside the restaurant. I was about to pass out with the long line and the heat. We elected to eat outside in the shade because it was cooler with the breeze than inside! The poor staff looked like they were about to faint, what gives? And the prices aren't exactly inexpensive. My sandwich alone was $9.50, add chips and a drink for $2.89+ tax. What knocks this place out of the park is the bread. That French roll is so yummy =, once it is hallowed out and stuffed with your favorite ingredients you can go wrong. read more

I wish I didn't have to travel to the Dallas area to eat here, but such is the case. Not your ordinary salad place, Bread Zeppelin does know how to elevate a salad! As I'm watching them pile the ingredients to the very top of the bowl I'm wondering how I'm going to add dressing and toss it without spilling it all over the table. Next step...they pour everything out of the bowl onto a large square of paper and proceed to chop it, add the dressing of my choice (asking me how much dressing I wanted) toss it, and put it back into the bowl! The ingredients were fresh and the bread and soup on the menu was a nice compliment. The staff were very friendly explaining the process and making everything to our liking. The inside ambiance is similar to a Chipotle. I'd frequent this place if it was closer to home. read more

I live 40 minutes away and I make the commute to come here because it is so good. The bread is perfectly cooked and has just the right amount of filling inside. I personally love the Atlantis. All the employees are very helpful and helped me decide what compliments the ingredients I put in. They are so helpful that I overlooked an instance that a customer without a handicap pass parked in the handicap spot and the employees ignored it. I am a huge fan of Bread Zeppelin! I absolutely love their food. However, I went to the Bread Zeppelin in the colony and it was a horrible experience. The employees that work there were extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was very uncomfortable with the comments they were making to me and the things they were saying to each other. When I finally got my food and sat down to eat one of the employees walked by and flipped off the other employee for some reason. My food was average, I don't know how you can really mess up a salad but they managed. My advice would be to go to the bread zeppelin in Plano! It's much better and the employees are kind and respectful to their clients. read more
