Centrally located, and right next to the Kimpton hotel which I love! Went to eat breakfast after a workout. They are PET FRIENDLY out door seating only. I ordered an espresso and LOX bagel.. which is. Smoked salmon and cream cheese with more fixings. I used to not be a fan but it's delicious. Service was slow and had to ask for the cream cheese because they forgot. Presentation was beautiful but service not great. Only good thing is the convenience. May or May not go back. read more

I love this place. They seem to only hire beautiful women for waitresses. The biscuits and gravy are a cheesy jalapeño biscuit with hearty sausage gravy. The whole hog is full of meat for 12.50 to 14$ depending on if you add green chili. (I don't recommend the "monster" choice. Seems to lack in experience for the extra price. But the omelet itself is great. The country bowl also is all meat. Blue corn pancakes are so good but not worth 10$. Coffee is great. Monte cristo is great 11-13$ This is our favorite breakfast joint. read more

I'm being slightly generous here, because, as stated in a few other reviews, everything I had for breakfast here was lukewarm. That included the coffee (which comes out quickly in a large mug). But everything else about Breakfast Club is top-notch, from the food to the decor and especially the service. I ordered an item I'd not had elsewhere, a turkey benedict. The English muffin was a bit dry and tough to cut, but it was otherwise delicious. The breakfast items my dining companions chose looked equally tempting and also received very favorable feedback. Hmm...I never enjoy writing reviews that aren't positive; especially when its based on only one visit but since I was only visiting the Phoenix area, I won't have a chance to return anytime soon. I'd have to sum up my visit to the Breakfast Club by saying it was just MEH...which was hugely disappointing after reading all of these reviews prior to my visit. The eggs benedict and the omelet (my mom ordered it) both lacked taste/flavor...it was pretty evident that not much seasoning was going on in the kitchen. We both agreed that the highlight of our visit were the sides of French roasts that we ordered; I could eat that again...but not sure this restaurant is worth returning to next time I'm in the area. Crazy stupid service with nasty people. They are open till 2pm outside at 1:59pm they tell me they need to put chairs up. I still have my drink and food in hand. Why did I tip 20% ? Then they are nasty and kicking you out once they get your money. I understand if kitchen closes but to tell me they need to stack chairs. Will not be back. This is always a good breakfast/brunch spot to come. If you don't place yourself in line through here then you might have to wait a bit, they do get busy. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Their border bowl is sooo good! My husband really likes their Cuban sandwich and their sweet potatoes are always fresh and tasty. Their orange juice is also fresh. Their fruit is always sweet and enjoyable. My son loved eating the fruit out of everyone's plate. Their black iced tea is also very good. You cannot go wrong coming here. I had some time to kill while my daughter was at baseball camp so I decided to grab a late breakfast. They don't have a dedicated gluten free menu but the waitress was able to give me some guidance. I ordered the Tuscan omelette which had tomatoes, mozzarella, and pesto. I couldn't eat the potatoes, they are not gluten free, I had bacon as my side. The omelette was ok. I love pesto but the pesto on the omelette was not my favorite. The bacon was great. It was better than the omelette. It was thick cut. The service was fantastic. Sunday morning, downtown Phoenix is a ghost town, but this place is slammin'! Full of out of towners here for the ball game, and locals as well. The wait was longer than listed, but we quickly got seats at the bar. Servers really hustle here, but don't skimp on service. We had the BC French Toast and Turkey Benedict, along with a super smooth nitro brewed coffee. The French toast cake topped with berries, flavored butter, granola, candied nuts (awesome!), and a touch of their house-made syrup. Usually these concoctions are overwhelmingly sweet and rich, but this one was just the right amount of sweet stuff. Added a side of bacon that was perfectly cooked. Very disappointing when the staff acts like you're putting them out on a simple request to sit at a hightop table in the corner away from the busy restaurant. So I explained my situation that I'm in town for work I need to social distance. Their response was well there's an open seat at the bar in between a bar full of people. The restaurant manager, Ash, gave great recommendations when it came to food and was super attentive! OK, so time for my semi-annual update on the Breaskfast Club in DT Phx. Noting, I work right across from them and walk over maybe 2-3X per month. Also noting; if you're driving here, it's modestly difficult to locate, but worth the search. BC's food is invariably very good to excellent. The offerings are a bit off the "standard" taste for the given item, which is a huge plus. The best items are their steak breakfast, the chinga chicken is awesome, and I love their hash browns and fresh fruit bowl. OK, so one time in ten the hash browns are a bit over-done, but that's the exception. Just great food all around, and a huge plus that the food items are not the standardized BS. Possible downsides ? Well, if you start adding on items, it adds up, pun intended. They are a mid-range price shop, and that's great with the very good to excellent food. Watch the add-ons a little bit, though. Service has always, always been immediate, efficient, and friendly. Noting, I always just go to the "bar" area (maybe 20 spots ?) so I've never sat at a table. But; re: the bar... Great and almost immediate service. I can't say enough for these guys; they're awesome. Again, just watch the bill a tad bit if you add on extras, but hey, that make sense. : ) ! read more

Just what I was looking for to satisfy my brunch fix. This place had great reviews and the most options for breakfast compared to other spots in the area. I figured it would be a good choice and it was. It is a bit hidden by Blue Hound and up the stairs. You can choose to sit outside on the patio or inside. I got the salmon eggs benedict and it was lovely. I am particular about my benedicts but the hollandaise sauce on this was tasty and creamy. It was a bit odd that it was all a mountain of egg and salmon, and it was not mounted on an english muffin like usual but regardless it was very filling and was served with great potatoes. My husband got steak and eggs and his steak was juicy and tender. We decided to throw in a side of french toast for fun and this was a good choice. I went for breakfast around 6:15AM. Because it was so early it hadn't started to get hot yet so I sat outside. I ordered a strawberry smoothie and the Breakfast Grilled Cheese over easy. The smoothie made it out pretty quick. It tasted good. The only thing that was kind of disappointing was there looked to be strawberry syrup at the bottom. I usually try and stay away from the syrup drinks but I guess one every now and then isn't the end of the world. When I see smoothie I think a bunch of fruit/juice in a blender. This might have been more of a shake. The sandwich was really good. It was goldielocks bacon; not floppy but not crispy, just right. The over easy egg was also done well. The yolk ran but not enough to make a mess. $19 seems a little pricey for breakfast but I guess that's about right for a sandwich and smoothie in the downtown part of a major metro area. read more

Here's the deal...I would have given five stars, if finding the restaurant hadn't been equal to getting lost in a corn maze at Halloween. For real, the construction, parking, and walking over a wonky, wooden bridge made enjoying my breakfast challenging. That being said, I highly suggest the lemon poppyseed pancakes. Tangy, not too sweet, and just the right amount. The best part was the cream in between each layer. No idea what was in if, but it was scrumptious. I cleaned my plate. I would probably give this place a 3.5/5 stars. It was pretty average for breakfast. Menu seemed limited and didn't have anything super unique. I got the turkey benedict, which came with potatoes and fruit. The dish was very large and tasted pretty good. The English muffin was nice and buttery, and the turkey and avocado were solid. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't hot. Maybe it was sitting out for a bit, but the service seemed pretty fast. Oh my goodness when I tell you that I come here every day when I am in town I legit come here every day in town. Not only is the food great, but so is the people watching! First I have to take the time to say how amazing Laurie is as a waitress. I request her every time I am there and she could not be more personable, sweet, and caring. She really has a knack for amazing customer service, and is part of the reason I keep coming back for breakfast. The breakfast itself is so so good. I personally tend to stick with the omelettes, but my friends like more sweet and even those options look absolutely delicious. Also, their coffee is AMAZING. However, word of caution if you order a large iced coffee it's going to be a LARGE large, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They also have sugar free options for flavoring if you have some dietary restrictions. I really enjoy coming to this place and they always keep it nice and spotless l, and definitely encourage some good social distancing so you don't feel like your sitting on top of people. I could not give more than 5 stars and if I could I would. I absolutely love coming here and cannot wait to come back again! read more
