Even if there is a wait, it is usually short, and they move fast to make room for their guests. The times we have been there, they are always busy, but there is never a long wait for your food order and it's just a friendly place to eat. Solid but nothing spectacular here. Fairly standard breakfast options. A good option for when you're headed up for a day in Crystal River. We stopped in before the Manatee Festival - We had this & Grannie's on our list of options. Grannie's was packed, this was busy too but had a few tables so we went here. I ordered a pancake combo with bacon and scrambled eggs. The eggs were fine, bacon a little overcooked. I did love the cinnamon swirl pancakes. The portion was good and they were delicious. We came by for a quick breakfast while in the area. We were seated right away and ordered water to drink. Our waitress was friendly and helpful with menu. We ordered the special Irish Benedict and potato cake and Garden omelet and potato cake. The omelette was good with sautéed veggies, the potato cake was extremely salty . I had a few bites and was done. The Irish Benedict was also good, he could eat the potato cake but also agreed it was very salty. The waitress never asked how our breakfast was so we did not share it with her. The cashier didn't ask us how our breakfast was either. So sadly we could not share these thoughts with them. The restaurant is clean along with the restrooms. We may be back when in the area to try the stuffed french toast. read more

This is where I go for my Reuben sandwich (extra crispy and in my opinion, one of the best around... but on this particular visit, I was also wowed by both my server Lynn and the manager Julie. Lynn made me feel like one of the family and was "spot on" with our orders. She was a joy as a server. Manager Julie checked on all the tables to make sure that everyone was happy (something I've only seen at posh establishments like Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Flemings, etc.). I even saw her take up the slack and clear some tables for her wait staff. I mean, WHAT manager does this nowadays?! A GREAT one like Julie does. I tell you, I've been flitting around different breakfast places here in town and my friend and I decided to make this one our ONLY place to go for breakfast OR lunch. Wow. There you'll fine the hardest working crew of women who run this place like a well oiled machine. The breakfasts served at this establishment are some of the best I've ever had - and by far he best in Crystal River! The staff are ALWAYS friendly and willing to help a girl out with my obsession with iced coffee and remember to bring a glass of ice to the table now without my even asking! The menu is very diverse with traditional breakfasts, omelettes, skillets and they even serve mimosas and Bloody Mary's so NOW you understand my true love of breakfast station! We've tried several locations of the Breakfast Station and I have to say that this Crystal River location is our favorite. Customer service is excellent, we are always welcomed when we enter into the restaurant. Our waitress this time was Julie and she was prompt in greeting and getting our drink order, she had a very sweet demeanor. I noticed that the manager was very hands on - greeting and seating customers plus bussing tables to make room for customers to be seated. I ordered The Engineer which consists of a ham steak with scrambled eggs and a side of fresh fruit instead of potatoes or grits. The ham steak was cooked perfectly - a little char on the outside but tender and juicy inside. Not too salty like places have on their menu. My scrambled eggs were cooked just the way I love them. They were cooked all the way through but with no brown color on the outside. The size they offer is two eggs but if you prefer three eggs you certainly can have them with an small upcharge. Their fresh fruit cup is just that - fresh seasonal fruit cut up. Very good flavor and a healthy addition instead of the usual starchy sides. Our food came out in a timely manner, nice, hot and delicious. Great food and service! A wonderful breakfast stop that also serves brunch selections. They found loyal customers in us! read more

If you get one thing here make sure it is the almost famous captain crunch French toast. In my opinion it should be famous. The mimosas were good for the price , we got a pitcher, but I would stick with the original flavor as the others are very syrupy and don't mix well. We are frequent diners at this breakfast station and we love the energy and respect the staff have towards the diners and particularly towards each other. There have been times we have had to wait for a table and there have been times only a few booths were occupied but service is always at a high level This starts with manager Alex who cleans tables, refreshes drinks and makes sure staff is good The food is consistently good and we have never had a bad meal there. 1st time here. Was doing some early shopping and had to wait for a store to open, so I decided to try out the breakfast station. Asked for a table outside because inside was chilly but that's normal for me. First I like their outdoor sign because they list the servers names which gives you a chance of remembering them. Sandra was my server today and she did an excellent job. Came out right away to clean my table, set down the menu and ask for my drink order. Returned quickly with my water. Then I saw that they had mimosas and had to try the Tiffany blue Mimosa. Ordered that along with the garden omelet with crispy hashbrowns and English muffin. Stopped here on the way home from a weekend in CR. Visited the Breakfast Station in Homassassa, dont quite remember the service and overall visit being as outstanding. Was greeted by the managing partner, Alex who took down our names fir booth seating. We were now on first name basis. From listening to them greet other customers. They make a point to remember names and say "welcome home". This restaurant is impeccably clean and following the CDC Covid19 restaurant rules. A touchless hand sanitizer as you walk in and every other booth seating and other tables spaced apart. Some cool train devices and pictures throughout the restaurant. Our waitress was nice and got the job done. She wasnt as exuberant and engaging with customers as the others appeared, grateful to be back working. . There is definitely teamwork displayed in this establishment as you can hear them all communicating to one another. We ordered traditional Eggs Benefict. Generous serving of hollandaise sauce over perfectly cooked eggs and thin sliced ham (not traditional Canadian bacon) was a nice twist to "tradition". We picked this place because it seemed to be the only place in town to get a Bloody Mary before 11am. We honestly weren't expecting much of the breakfast. Wow was I surprised! Our visit got off to a bad start when we had to ask a passing server where ours was after seeing other tables being tended to before we even spoke to anyone and got drinks. I ordered the specialty, captain crunch French toast but couldn't finish it. I only ate a piece and a half when the grease starting getting to me. I knew it was fried but it really was too saturated in oil to eat. I would not recommend it. I also ordered a peach Bellini but it came without peaches and just tasted like Champaign with a little simple syrup. The server did offer to replace it because they didn't have the peaches but I opted to keep it. Not sure why it was still listed as a special. My husband had a very different experience. He ordered the NY steak and eggs special and he thought it was very good. Our server was very nice and attentive once she noticed we were there. read more
