This place used to be our favorite place for breakfast, but the last few times, it has really gone down hill. My wife and I split the Train Station breakfast. Food was not warm (sausage and pancakes), the biscuit was so hard it could have broken a window if you threw it at it. The waitress was nice enough to replace it. Not too impressed. It was ok. Hash browns were over done to the point that it's extra crispy and could break a tooth if not careful which also cause it to be dry. Egg Benedict itself was good..the egg was actually perfect. The corned beef hash was good as well, home fries were a little soggy. All in all, it was not too bad, it did fill us up. Yum so glad I have one so close to home now! We used to stop at the one in Springhill when we were in the area. Nice new edition to Lutz/Land O Lakes area. They are open 7-3 breakfast & lunch. Specials mon- Friday for around 5 bucks. Great friendly staff and even as busy as they are a reasonable wait. I highly recommend you get the Crunch cakes! They are such a treat u have a hard time not ordering some every time! Today I tried something new to me the sunrise Skillet. It was good but I'll go back to my beloved hash browns next time as this cane with big chunks of potatoes and I prefer the thin & crispy potato version . Husband got the corn-beef and it was nicely crisped on the outside. We both had the dollar pancakes as our side they were very good. My husband and I are in town from Orlando, and someone suggested we eat here. There was such a huge range in the reviews, but we decided to "risk it." So glad we did! Upon entering, the staff greets everyone with an upbeat "Good morning!!! :)" We were seated right away and our dink order taken promptly. We had coffee and water within 60 seconds! There were so many choices- it was hard to decide! I had the sunrise skillet - potatoes were seasoned well and cooked through. Excellent. My husband had the depot breakfast- bacon was crispy- he enjoyed the grits- eggs cooked just the way he likes them. We had no complaints at all. The restaurant was full with people waiting for seats when we left at 10:40 am on a Saturday. Very promising! I'm glad we decided to stop by, and we will be back the next time we are in town. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! The service was fast & friendly, the food was a little slow coming out (not due to lack of effort). The place is clean. I gave 4 stars because the have Mimosas & Bloody Mary's on their menu but can't serve the due to not having their license. As of July 31st, you could not serve alcohol...I ordered a Sunrise Mimosa & was told you did not have your liquor license & could not serve them yet! I never said you were serving illegally. My point was that you should not have menus out advertising your alcohol until you are prepared to serve it. read more

I have been to Breakfast Station several times since I moved here. At first, it was good. I particularly like that they have shredded hash browns. But every time I go there it gets worse. They had good coffee, but now the coffee is horrible. Lately, even though I ask for crispy bacon, it comes practically raw, and I have to send it back. Today was the last straw. My over easy eggs were not over easy. Over medium is a generous description. My sister's bacon was raw, and it looked like they split an order of hash browns between us. If I could rate this place a zero, I would. Two people in my party ordered the eggs Benedict today. First time it came out, the poached eggs were hard boiled, all 4 of them. Second run around, it literally looked as if someone threw up on my plate. The hollandaise sauce was more like a gravy, way too thick. The waitress was very rude as well, when she came back to see how every thing was the second time, she said "what's wrong with it now?" In a very condescending tone. This place has a habit of leaving hash browns on the griddle way too long, resulting in mushy hash browns. Normally, I don't like to go there for breakfast. But our favorite breakfast place was closed today, so we went here instead. My husband likes their Train Wreck breakfast. I have, on occasion, had good hash browns here, so I was hoping for the best. Alas, mushy hash browns once again. So I ate the eggs and a couple pieces of toast and left the hash browns. But my husband enjoyed his meal and the servers were pleasant and efficient. Living in land o lakes I'm happy to see another breakfast place appear. I'm always in this plaza so it's convenient to stop in. For breakfast I ordered the breakfast special $4 for bacon, egg, toast and potatoes. Such a good deal. My boyfriend ordered the same thing. When our food came out it was cold, the potatoes were undercooked and his biscuit was cold. I think the $4 special is an amazing deal but if it's going to be cold then it defeats the purpose. The service was great and the servers were friendly and on top of us making sure we were happy and our drinks were full. We did not complain about the food because we just wanted to enjoy the breakfast. I'm not sure if we would come back tho. read more

The sign said, "please wait to be seated." so we waited. someone else came up behind us and put their name on a scraggly sheet of paper with no indication that it was required. Getting the hint, we put our names on after. when the hostess came back, we explained the situation. there was one booth left in the restaurant. the other lady who put her name on the list ( the only person present in a party of three while my entire group was there) came back. the hostess came back and told us we could sit at the "bar" because she has to follow the order of the list. when we got to the bar, the waitress was loudly complaining about another customer. at this point we needed a drink... turns out they don't have their liquor license, but are advertising alcohol online and on the menu. stay away wesley chapel residents! @the owner who says they don't advertise alcohol- it was on the menu queen!!!!!! read more

Do not go here if you have a big party!!! This is the worst managed restaurant I have ever been to. My family and I got there at 8:15 on mother's day. We knew it would be busy so we wanted to get there early. My son Michael is the first person on the list. He was told 30-40 min wait. (See picture) At 9:20 we were still waiting. My son asked to speak to the manager who did not have any idea how much longer it would be because we were a bigger party (9 plus a toddler). We sat and watched party after party get called in and seated. When my son told me she didn't seem to care that we were waiting I lost it. I asked her why they have seated so many people and we were still waiting. Not 1 apology was given and she still said she was trying to see about a table for us. I asked how she was planning on doing that if they just keep seating other partys and using all of the tables. My family and I have loved this place until today. My husband and I decided to try something new for breakfast on Saturday morning and we were pretty surprised when we drove up to see a line out the door! We decided it must be pretty darn good if the line was that long so we decided to still try it. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be sat but it did move fairly quickly! Every single employee was so exceptionally friendly and helpful, I was blown away!! As amazing as the service and atmosphere was, the food was that much better! Service was awful. We were seated right away and placed our order. The waitress was Refilling our water and checking in every once in a while and then nothing. After several minutes she came to our table to tell us that she forgot to put the order and that it would be a couple minutes. We figured she put the order in right away and said hey we need to make this because I forgot their order -but 20 minutes later I asked someone to check on the order because we hadn't seen our waitress. she said it would be a couple minutes. I set a timer, 6 1/2 minutes later we had to leave because we had already been at the restaurant for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I just wanted some sausage links and hashbrowns and was considering Cracker Barrel but wanted to do something closer and family owned. Found them here on Yelp with mixed reviews and decided to order my sides here. I got 3 orders of hashbrowns, 2 orders of sausage links, a scrambled egg, and a meal of fish and chips for three people and it was $20. I love that they give you the option of soft or crispy for your hashbrowns! Although I will admit, like previous reviews said, they could be seasoned more. The sausage links are huge which was nice and unexpected. We picked up our food togo, which was super fast and easy, and accurate which isn't always the case when you get Togo.
