Sorry Amy. We no longer have shaved snow :( Our tea menu is greatly improved compared to years ago and we also have a lot more snacks :)

Most of our milk teas are non-dairy. For the ones that are dairy, we also have non-dairy options, almond milk or soy milk. Just let the cashier know you want it non-dairy.

I really liked that it wasn't too sweet, but I wish the espresso was stronger. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. I use to come here A LOT because it was my go-to milk tea shop near campus. They still have delicious milk teas but their quantity decreased. I use to get a full bag of chicken nibblers because they were so good but they decreased their size. They still serve it in the big bag but there's literally only 7 pieces of chicken and it costs around $6! What a rip off!! I'm paying a lot for a snack and it doesn't even fill me up. They add carrots and celery sticks which is good but it doesn't make up for the amount of chicken given now. I'd rather spend my money at Quickly's because at least I'll get my money's worth. They even decreased their sauce size. Their sauce is really good but they made the package so small now, it's so not worth it anymore. Service also got worse. Came here with my little cousins and the worker that Sunday was so rude. They ordered 4 drinks and chicken nibblers but the bag he gave them was too small so they asked for another bag and he responds by saying "uh.... what for?" Their service use to be amazing. I don't remember who it was that I use to see every time I came there but he worked a lot and he was always so kind. Tall, manly, and had facial hair. He always provided the best service. Not sure if he still works there because I don't come around as often anymore but he really provided amazing service. I'd only come back for him and their milk tea because that's the only thing that hasn't changed about the place. I enjoy the atmosphere. Workers are nice - the people who usually hang out here are of the college age, since this cafe is located right next to San Jose State. It's a nice place to hang out and they also have Wifi, so come here to do your homework. :D The food is okay in my experience. Teas are also average. Service, atmosphere, and variety of foods are much better than Quickly's which is also nearby. I got the Thai iced tea and it was okay, just tasted like normal but a little watered down Thai Iced Tea. The chocolate cake was okay and so were their big macarons. The chicken nibblers didn't have a lot of meat and they were mostly batter. Tasted like a typical frozen chicken bits sort of thing. I'd prefer the ones over at Quickly's just for their chicken. Wow service today. I was seat outside on property chair and the table off one piece broke legs cause the table shaking and my drink spilled out on property floor, I walked in and ask if I can get replacement drinks because it spilled with broken shaking table. Three girls said no replacement or refill. They you drink already I said I didn't I just put my supplemental in and stirring up. I don't like the service today with those three mean girls. I has to pay another drink. Used at Starbucks the replacement customer drinks because it still on there property. I noticed break time don't it. I has to pay another drink they screwed up. Located in bustling Downtown San Jose, this charming spot is a gem! It offers a delightful variety of boba drinks, refreshing fruit teas, awesome smoothies, and an array of delicious snacks like takoyaki, macaroons, matcha Swiss roll cake, chicken nibblers on rice, and teriyaki salmon on rice. I've visited 3 to 4 times and am consistently pleased with my orders. The only minor downside is the challenging parking, so I prefer visiting during the day on weekdays. Fresh teas! Doesn't taste powdered. Menu isn't extremely interesting. It's kinda just the standard drink menu, but the drinks are nice. It's right next to SJSU's library, so it's a very convenient tea place. It's muuuch better than Quickly's, so if you're on the other side of the campus, I suggest you go here instead. Amor Cafe is so much better if you want to sit down and enjoy yourself for a bit. The staff are friendly and jolly as well so it adds a lot to the atmosphere, as opposed to Quickly's snobby and rude staff. They also have wifi here! read more

I had Thai Milk Tea for the first time from Amor Cafe, and I loved it! I had been craving boba for quite a while, so to be able to enjoy delicious boba after boba sobriety was amazing. I definitely recommend their milk tea. Unfortunately, they do not offer as many flavors and options as other milk tea places; however, the amount of tea you get for the price of large drink is very reasonable. Me and a friend went here at said friend's recommendation. The girls were nice when we entered and ordered. I ordered a butterfly lemonade, which I thought was really sweet, but it turns out I just had to stab the lemons inside a few times. What I wasn't expecting was the hair *inside* the cup. Drinks are alright. They try to have variety, but it's all equally bland or not a good combination. There is not a lot of food/snacks compared to other boba places either. Their food menu is average. I wouldn't say anything is bad about the drinks or food, it's just this is not a place I would recommend. Service is quick so I guess that's a pro. read more

Great service and great milk tea! I think of all the cafés in the area, Amor makes the best milk tea. I didn't really like their calamari. I felt like the sauce that came on the side didn't compliment it well and I prefer the legs to the rings. Over priced bubble place marketed towards the high school generation. The tea is just like any quickly tea with names you probable don't want to learn. If you have to choose between this place and the chia thing next door, this one will be the better choice. You can also walk a few blocks for better tea places. read more

As a tea-lover, I applaud this, and I enjoy discussing tea culture with them. The owners run the shop in colder weather, when people forget they offer special hot drinks, and hot teas, caffè lattes, and Vietnamese coffee. In the hotter months, the staff expands. The decor is subtle, the music never interferes with thought or speech, good amount of outside light. The tea mocktails are some of my favorites, usually juices or purées with green tea, sometimes jasmine green. I'd love some Moroccan tea, made with gunpowder green tea and fresh spearmint (peppermint is too strong), but it's not from Asia. Drink sizes are 16 (hot and cold) or 24 (cold only) oz. There's teaware, full leaf teas found on the menu (we love ancient black at home for iced tea), baked mochi treats, and tea jellies. We bring our own tea tumblers, more rigid than the plastic cups they use. There are often tea "barista" classes on weekends before they open for customers, should you like to learn something more exotic. On weekends and Mondays, they open at noon, otherwise it's 11am.

I've never been to a Happy Lemon before. I as warmly welcomed and greeted when I entered the store. There is plenty on seating inside. Besides drinks they offer bubble waffles. I checked out the menu. I decided to order the grapefruit green tea with 25% sweetness and minimal ice. My drink was ready in less than 5 minutes. It was $6.95. My grapefruit green tea was so refreshing and delicious. It really hit the spot. I enjoyed drinking it on my way home. I would definitely come here again.

The avocado smoothie did not get my mom's approval. There was more milk than avocado. The golden fried tofu was yummy. Basil popcorn chicken was just okay. There was barely any basil for something called "basil popcorn chicken". Pandan waffle was good even if it was on the soggy side. French fries were GOOD. Would I be back? Maybe not for a long time. Service was friendly and decor was cute. Price was comparable to other boba places.
