What a cute little spot! It's a bit small and cozy. The barista was super sweet and friendly. All the staff was super attentive and helpful. The food came out really quick. You order at the front and get a number to put on your table. There was some sugar or sweetness on the rice that confused me but in general, the food was pretty yummy. Finally got to check out Breezy this weekend and it did not disappoint. The drinks and the ambiance are amazing here, even if you don't have time to wait for a table the coffee bar with matcha and lattes are a great grab and go option. I love that it's family owned and got a chance to express my appreciation to the owner herself and I'm pretty sure her son was our waiter. Great service and a they have a lot unique breakfast options on their menu along with the classics. Perfect for a patio SoCal dining experience. read more

Meh. The food's okay. I ordered the garlic fried rice with langostino and eggs. I could barely taste the garlic in the rice and the sausage was dry. My friend ordered the ube pancakes to share. It was just regular pancakes with some type of "ube" pudding slathered all over it. It would've been better if they mixed ube powder into the mix, THEN you can call it ube pancake. I read so many great reviews I had high expectations. We arrived at 10AM for brunch in Saturday, and there was a slight wait. It wasn't too long before we were seated and the service was good. We ordered hot breezy latte and I love U Bae Matcha. Drinks were delicious (well worth stopping in just for the drinks). The classic French toast was amazing. Surprisingly, it wasn't too sweet even with the syrup. The Jax Loco Moco however was slightly disappointing. The patty and egg were a little 'tough' and the rice a little hard, as if the dish had been sitting out for a bit. Overall the experience was good. Breezy is such an adorable and fun brunch spot in the SJC mission area. After having this pinned on one of my "must try" places for many months now, I finally took an impromptu day trip with the fam and it was well worth it! There is a kiosk at the entrance for guests to sign up for the waitlist. My family and I passed the time by walking around the nearby gift shops and restaurants. Once you are alerted that your table is ready, you then walk up to the counter and place your dining orders. We ordered the adobo breakfast burrito, Ube pancake stack, honey basil ribeye bowl, and mini easy breezy kids breakfast. You are then seated at your table and are able to soak in the ambiance and cute decor that Breezy has to offer. I personally enjoy a light and bright atmosphere when I am out having brunch. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was presented beautifully and with good portions to share. The rib eye bowl was packed with flavor, the meat was tender and juicy and the pink pickled onions paired great with the rice and meat. The breakfast burrito Reminded of the Filipino breakfast I grew up eating all wrapped up in a nice large tortilla. The little one enjoyed his breezy breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs, smoked applewood bacon and silver dollar pancakes. For dessert, we shared the famous Ube pancake stack & this was a huge hit! I love that it's not too sweet, it's super fluffy and light, and had just the perfect amount of Ube whipped cream, toasted coconut flakes, coconut crema and fresh fruit. Would definitely come back just to have this again! Pro Tip: There isn't a designated parking lot for the restaurant, but it is close to the metrolink if u want to take the train there. In addition, there are various parking lots along the mission vicinity that are a short walk to the restaurant. Be mindful, though, as some have time limits and hourly rates. read more

We came here during a couples vacation and I was impressed with the brunch and their menu selection. This is Filipino infusion type food and it was absolutely delicious. I had an infused rose latte and the french toast. The restaurant has such cute vibes and is perfect for date or girls brunch date. The service was great and the prices are fair. I decided to write my experience from April, and saw that it was temporarily closed?! It scared me because this was such a lovely place with delicious food...but I guess they're remodeling, expanding their space with a bar and new menu. Looks like they're reopening on August 1st? Hope they keep their original menu! So my sister really liked this place and wanted me to try it. We came here with my BIL on a Saturday in April a little before 10:30am. This is located at the corner of Camino Capistrano and Verdugo Street. Being a Saturday, there were no street parking so we parked in the structure at the end of Verdugo Street. It was $4.00 for 2 hours, if I remember correctly. They told us it'd be a 20-25 minute wait after putting our name down, so we decided to stroll around this charming area pass the train station called the Los Rios Historic District. It felt like stepping back in time! Our table was ready before 11:00am, so we placed our order at the counter and waited for our food at the table. My sister and I both ordered the Easy Breezy ($16.99ea), and my BIL ordered the Jax Loco Moco ($16.99). For the Easy Breezy, I got over medium eggs, longanisa (sweet pork sausage), country potatoes, and upgraded to ube pancake (+$2.49). My sister also got over medium eggs and ube pancake, but chose bacon and garlic fried rice. My breakfast was good, but I guess I went with ordinary when I got the country potatoes. I regret not getting the garlic fried rice after I tried my sister's. It was so good! The ube pancake was really yummy, too. Not too sweet, light and refreshing with the fresh strawberries and blueberries. I scraped the ube cream off the plate, lol. The Loco Moco was not the traditional Hawaiian version. It had a hamburger patty smothered in their version of a loco moco sauce, topped with egg and over a bed of garlic fried rice (usually white rice, +$0.99 for garlic fried rice). This was really goooood. I think their garlic fried rice made my day. Staff were very friendly (except for the drink guy, he was just okay). The interior was very charming in pink everywhere, but not sure if that will change after the remodeling. read more

Went here for the first time because I've seen so many instagram reels/ TikTok's on the food and boy was it amazing! I got the longanisa bowl with the breezy latte. The longanisa had a sweet and savory flavor that was so delicious, added with the rice and side salad was the cherry on top. The breezy latte was sweet and cinnamony. Great breakfast/lunch in San Juan. Near the mission with a big menu. I got there at 11:15 on a Friday. And there was quite a long line. They said they were down a couple of people but we're working hard to turn the tables over. I waited 30 minutes. And was seated at a nice table inside. The coffee drinks looked super. I got an adobo egg salad bowl. It was delicious. There was so much pork in it that I was able to add it to a salad at my house for dinner that night and the next night. So flavorful and tender. The restrooms were clean and beautiful. There was lots of seating inside to wait but unfortunately she did not take names and so we stood in a line. We stopped by on a Sunday morning for brunch sans kids. This place was hopping and plenty of people waiting for tables. We were able to snag a spot at the bar eventually. I ordered a strawberry matcha and hubs got a specialty coffee. Both drinks were very tasty. The pancakes looked super fluffy and tasty. I got the honey beef bowl. It was a bit too salty for my taste, but decent flavor. Hubby ordered the chilaquiles and that dish was really really yummy. I should have ordered the loco loco, but will try it next time. Our neighbor ordered the Açaí bowl and that looked very appealing as well. So many good options. They are kid friendly and there were tons of families dining. They have indoor and outdoor space. They have outdoor seating, and during busy times when the indoor dining area is full, they'll offer you a table outside. Since the wait can be long, you'll probably say yes. However, they really should install a canopy or some type of shade. We were eating with the 90-degree sun directly in our faces, which made it very uncomfortable. Many restaurants offer covered outdoor seating so guests can dine comfortably, and I think that would be a great improvement here read more

Drove two and a half hours to try this place. Brought my siblings and their families here. Everything is good! The Ube pancakes and my Ube matcha are delicious. The adobo , my niece said it's good. Loco Moko , my nephew said it's very good and the Kobe beef , my sister said it is delicious. Since then I been to Breezy 4 times now. I tried all their matches and my favorite one is the Ube. It is a long wait but it's worth it. Very friendly people and the ambiance is nice. Met the owners . Very polite young men. Definitely will be back again. read more

Costumer service on 7 December 2024 1200ish could have been better but the super hype of the place and the number of people doesn't excuse the less than friendly costumer service. You can tell from the faces of the staff they where over it by our visit. The island music and menu items didn't bring the island vibes. Dinning floor on 1200 visit was super jammed packed with a less than a 30 minute wait time which was ok. We visited on a Tuesday morning and parked in the lot behind the restaurant. There was a short wait since they were busy. I ordered the Ube French toast and it was really delicious! The French toast was crispy along the edges, the caramelised bananas reminded me of Turon and I love Turon so it was my highlight of the dish, and the ube cream was deliciously sweet and the coconut flakes and fresh fruit were perfectly sweet as well. Went during winter break 2025 and maybe because we met up early at 10:30am, found good parking in the lot across the street and got bar seating right away! We saw a lot of people waiting. They told us 45 min for a table :0 Food was solid! I think we got the mushroom avo toast, definitely a French toast that was super crunchy good/dessert basically, and some other savory dish with super good fried rice base. Decor was very cute and pink. The drinks were super beautiful, too. We all got some kind of matcha drink and it wasn't too sweet even when it looked like it could be. Saw that this place was on the top 100 brunch places and of course I had to give it a try. Came here and immediately was stood out as the decor of the spot it looked like Barbie herself designed it with all the pink everywhere it was perfect for a brunch spot. They had a great offer of free ube pancakes with a check in so our whole party was able to take advantage of that which was nice of the waiter, in general the service there was great. The food was next level the ube pancakes were as every bit as awesome as they sound and the ribeye plate I got was amazingly sauced and cooked to perfection. One thing I didn't expect to be so good were the buttermilk pancakes I actually thought that those were better than the ube ones, definitely worth considering. If you're in the area and craving Filipino breakfast food, then I would recommend this place. There's not a whole lot of parking in the outdoor parking lot in the back (don't remember if you have to pay or not) but the parking structure has quite a bit for a small fee. When you walk in the restaurant, you're greeted with a pink and warm aesthetic, followed by the friendly servers. We got the ube french toast, which was fresh with the strawberries and ube cream as well as the longanisa breakfast which was very hearty and filling.
