Hana Korean BBQ is located on the very top floor across from the movie theater. If you take the non-working escalator (build up an appetite), just go straight and it's on your right. The lunch portions are the perfect size, reasonably priced, and very delicious. I had the BBQ bulgogi plate: Marinated Rib Eye Beef served with White or Brown Rice and choice of 2 side dishes. I tried it with the brown rice, macaroni salad, and choy sum (Chinese broccoli). They have soy sauce and hot sauce packets. Food is made to order. Saw at least 5 people eating inside, outside, and picking up. I say bring a friend and sit outside to enjoy the sun. There are tables inside and window counter seating. Since we were already there, we ordered Bulgarian pork and spicy pork with two side dishes. The food was shockingly bad -- easily the saltiest food I've ever had in my life. I've always driven by the kaleidoscope on the freeway... finally had a reason to stop inside. this little shop is cute and tucked away on the top (6th) floor. it for sure satisfies cravings if you want that bbq and has huge portions for huge prices. Hana Combo: Get if you're sharing It's SUPER loaded with lots of meats and lots of sides. For 20-something dollars, it can feed 2 adults so it might be a good value if you're ready to split. Came in at 5pm. I got the bulgogi lunch. I waited about 10-12 minutes for my order. The beef bulgogi was flavorful. I enjoyed the sauce on the side. The tofu wasn't as flavorful as I would have liked but that's where the sauce comes in. The Mac salad was good too. Good value for the amount of food you get. Ok wow I wish I discovered this place before moving!! So much food and so delicious! The portions and quality are incredible - we got the Hana special which came with kalbi, chicken teriyaki, mandoo, bulgogi, and meat jun (which I always miss from the islands so I was surprised they had it here! Delicious food for decent prices (especially for 2026) the location is a little inconvenient if you have a baby and stroller as you need to take the elevator. It's on the same level as the movie theater in the Kaleidoscope. My husband loves the Galbi plate with white rice and I love the bulgogi plate with brown rice. The spicy pork is also a great choice as well as the combo plates. Each plate portion size is enough for two people or it can last one person lunch and dinner especially with all the sides that's included. After our adventure at Mission San Juan Capistrano, we were starving. Hana Korean BBQ was on our way back to Anaheim, and their Korean plates did not disappoint. After a month long trip in California, I was missing Hawaii Korean-local plate lunches. Once I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was warmly welcomed by a lady (later to find out she's the owner) and a native from Oahu, Hawaii. The food tasted like home, and the meat jun sauce was ono ("delicious" in Hawaiian). The staff was hospitable, and the food hit the spot! Restaurant is located at a mall so you'll need to take an elevator and escalators, but the trip is well-worth it! We stopped by this plaza to charge our car and decided to grab a quick bite. The plaza itself was mostly empty or closed, but we were happy to spot the sign for Hana Korean on the first floor. The restaurant is actually located upstairs, and we ordered two lunch plates to go, then enjoyed them at the outdoor patio. We got the meat jun plate and the bulgogi plate, both came with a great variety of side dishes, which I loved since I'm all about banchan! I chose the choy sum, corn, japchae, and cabbage. You don't often see meat jun in LA or OC, I usually only find it in Hawaii so it was a nice surprise. The meat jun here was solid and satisfying. Ordered Meat Jun w/cucumber kimchi & japchae noodle for the sides lunch plate and a separate side order of Spicy Pork. So happy with my order. Food was delicious! Everything was still hot when I got it delivered (mind you I'm only 15mins away). Love the thank you note sticker. I was grateful to find it just across the hospital I was working at and was not disappointed! It's a little tricky to find, but it's upstairs on the level with the movie theater. It's not a big restaurant, but it's got everything you could want if you're looking for delicious Hawaiian/Korean food. I got a few plates to share with friends, and their portions are HUGE!! I love that they don't skimp and the quality is there. So onolicious, and the prices aren't bad at all. Regular go-to place is closed on Sundays, so made the extra drive to try this place. Ordered the Hana Platter which is supposed to feed 4-5 people, but there is more than enough meat to feed twice as many so 5 stars for the portion. The flavor was great, short ribs tender and would recommend and get again. Also got some sides of Cucumber kimchi and Japchae, so was a nice meal. The only reason I rated 4 stars is the location. It's a great option if you happen to be there already, but the Kaleidoscope was dead and had to take two flights of stairs which were actually non-working escalators. I would hope they think about whether the rent they are paying for space is going to good use because the landlord is not doing a great job of attracting customers and this place deserves the foot traffic! Hana Korean BBQ is located in a mall. The mall is a ghost town, 2nd floor is where all the restaurants are located. Adjacent to Edward Cinema is Hana Korean BBQ. We were greeted warmly with friendly smiles from Sterling. He was personable and helpful with all our questions. He was very knowledgeable about the food and provided excellent service. We ordered the Hana special which included chicken, kalbi, beef and meat jun. It also came with 4 sides. We got japchae, mac salad, spinach and stramed cabbage. The meat were tasty and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that Sterling asked how we liked our kalbi cooked. We like our meat cooked medium. The kalbi was tender and flavorful. The meat jun was also good. We really enjoyed the sides. We love japchae. I would prefer it to be warm vs cold but we enjoyed it nonetheless. My aon ordered the lunch portion of kalbi plate and he loved every bite! The restaurant was clean and inviting. They had a tv so it kept us feeling at home. They have tables available inside as well as a restroom. Wish we lived closer so we visit more frequently but if we are ever in the area, we will definitely be coming back again. I finally decided to try it today- I ordered it on DoorDash and picked it up to eat it at home. My van broke down and my food sat for at least an hour til I was able to get home.
