Donuts aren't my biggest craving, but when I saw the display of donuts, I wanted to try so many! We opted for just a few. -maple donut filled with Nutella (I know, WTH?! But honestly it was such a good pairing and sooooo good!) -extra maple glazed "8 donut" -Krueller donut hole (chilled and filled, yum!!!!) -cream puff that just looked so perfect and although I've never had one until now, it was light, airy, and perfectly sweet and delicious! I wish I had it in me to try more, but u til next time! Oh yeah, the wait time was fast because they are efficient while being patient and friendly!

They do have cream and a couple of different Torani syrups if you would like some flavoring. We will definitely make this a regular stop as we pass through Independence monthly on our way back and forth to Bridgeport. There is street parking, some tables inside and out and restrooms inside the restaurant behind the counter. I will update this review when we have their breads, pies and other sandwiches. This is true old fashioned ice cream made with real ingredients. You can taste how real the ingredients are in every bite as the flavors dance together on your tongue. We spoke with the gentleman that owns the shop. He spoke to us about where he gets the cream, and some of the ingredients. They really make sure they use good products. You won't find emulsifiers, and guar gum here! The care and attention to making a superior product like this is hard to find. I shared my need for clean food, and my appreciation for what he and his wife create with the gentleman. Truly an Art! This is a must try if you happen to be in this little town passing through.

During our last visit we needed to use the restrooms and they were very unclean. My brain always connects dirty bathrooms to probably dirty kitchens. I never like to give poor reviews and give regular spots multiple tries. We just can't do it anymore. There is a coffee shop and juice bar across the street we will be trying on our next trip.

There was no wait & the baristas were polite when taking our orders, they had ample seating inside and outside, and there's a restroom adjacent to the building but you need to ask for the key. This place was so good that we stopped by twice, on our way to Mammoth Lakes and before we made our way back home. Both times we ordered iced lattes with their house made syrups and milk alternatives (Total for 4 larges w/ milk alternatives & syrup add-ons: ~$27) and we took home 2 of their bags of beans. They had food options as well, but we didn't take a look at them. Very sad that we live so far away, but good for my wallet or else it would've been empty from daily visits.
