This is a good place to have a burger and a beer. My mom likes it a lot as well. Winter menu is good.

Lobster rolls were DELICIOUS!!! We got take out the other night and it was soooooo good and the portions were huge. So much lobster meat, definitely got our money's worth. Next time, I will probably turn my lobster roll into 2 by toasting an extra hot dog bun! read more

I've been a couple times and each time is the same result. Fantastic bartender (Ruby) and her bar back is just as friendly. It's usually busy there but they take the time to make small talk and your drink is always full. I've only tried the salads but they are great. read more

Gave this place another try and sadly had a worse experience than 1st time. I want to like this place but they make it very hard!! 5 people in our party, ordered regular breakfast entree's and one Brewology Frites. Took almost 45 minutes and the only thing brought out was the entrees, never got the frites which I was disappointed with bc they were what I was looking forward to most. I could see if it was busy day but it wasn't, and it took long last time we came as well. So seems like this is a standard thing for them. One person at the table ordered fried eggs with american cheese. When they got their meal it had no cheese on the eggs, so he asked the waiter. The waiter replied "oh that meal doesn't come with cheese", and walked away. We all sat there confused, so then he asked again later, "so it's not possible to get cheese with any of the meals? Cus i asked for cheese when I ordered but u just said oh it doesnt come with it..." and the waiter responded "well I could bring out some cheese for you if you really want." By that time he was halfway through the meal so he just said no its okay. Also, last time I got the brewology benedict and it came with 3 eggs benedict on a plate. For $16 I thought even that was a bit disappointing. But then this 2nd time I ordered same thing and only got 2 eggs benedict and a small pile of asparagus? Still for $16. I'm sorry but 4 stalks of asparagus do not equal an entire 3rd egg benedict with ham n cheese n english muffin lol. I was a little annoyed that I was jipped basically with that. I tried but I do not think I will be returning here. Super slow/crappy service and the food is inconsistent. read more

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!! First time coming and will be coming back!! The atmosphere isn't like basic breweries... which is a good thing!!! They had like a "fancy" side, the bar with TVs and then a side that was for families. They also had outside seating (which I can't wait for summer to sit at). We never knew this place existed until we read an article about the Port Jefferson location closing. So, we decided to try it just in case it was also in trouble ;) We got there about 15 minutes after it opened at 4pm and were the only diners at that time although several people were at the bar. We were greeted quickly and seated by a very nice waitress. Her service remained great throughout the meal. As soon as we sat down we were brought a large warm soft pretzel with a delicious mustard dipping sauce. A very nice alternative to bread. Between my wife and me we ordered Caesar salad, mussels, the Redemption Burger (loaded), a root beer and two margaritas. The portions were large, cooked perfectly, tasty and filling. By the end we were totally full and ended up dismayed after the waitress told us we could have had root beer floats for desert. Now we intend to return for that. read more

Overpriced, genuinely poorly prepared food and mediocre service. Don't get the mushroom burger unless you add sauce. They clearly don't have a vegetarian on staff. There were clearly other waiters that were nice (one recommended I add this sauce but AFTER I ordered) but our specific server was terrible. I was really disappointed because their veggie burger was good! I used to go pretty regularly a few years back. I used to like their fries, but this time they were COLD! but I am never going there again. The ambiance was good, but not worth our bill. My dish wasn't the only one that was bad-- my mom's was too. She ordered the short rib and it was really knotty and fatty. The buns were stale. My boyfriend and dad liked their meals, but you know, it'd be nice to have the whole party enjoy their meals. This a beautiful building, decorated appropriately in a nice shopping center,great location with a great theme, Craft Beer and Burgers! What could go wrong? Having just recently moved to the area wife and I decided to give it a try! Although the place was less than half full arriving diners were being herded to the same station instead of spreading people out, 2 parties near us asked and were reseated in another dining room. First impression was the stemware was cloudy and utensils we dirty! I looked to swipe some from adjacent tables but they were just as bad so we took our napkins and cleaned the silverware and stayed away from glasses. Ordered two tap beers and instead of pint glasses like you might assume in a pub we got 9 oz. goblets that even with the Head were only 3/4 filled???? The beers are certainly reasonable at $7 so I wasn't going to make it an issue! Yelpers have recommended the Brussels Sprout appetizer and it sounded wonderful with bacon, red onion and cranberry served in a skillet! It looked beautiful but the sprouts were very dry and undercooked (could've used a shot of oil or white wine). The bus person retrieved the order without any inquiry I have to say the burgers were presented wonderfully and were terrific! This place has the potential not to just be a great burger joint but a fabulous east end stop! The wait staff although very friendly seemed inexperienced and more intent on checking their I-phones! The dish issue could be the auto dishwasher, the chemicals are very expensive and mgmt will sometimes try to milk them particularly over a long Holiday weekend! Will give them another shot sometime this Summer! read more

However, our orders weren't accurate. 2 people's burgers were cooked less than they asked. I ordered vegetables in place of fries, but got fries. They then charged me for the vegetables but fixed it when we pointed it out. For the price, the service could have been much better. read more

Sorry I waited as long as I did to check this place out. Its been on my list of 'to dos' for awhile now. So we headed down to their Speonk location this past weekend. From the outside it looks like every other shop in this strip. The interior is nice and though I read many complaints about the acoustics, we didn't seem to be bothered by it. The bar seems to be on point. Excellent drink menu. Great beer selections. I tried two of their specialty drinks (summer something and strawberry mojito), both were top notch. Would definitely get both again. The soft pretzel instead of bread to start was a nice way to get the meal rolling. Staff and service overall were excellent. Very friendly and offered help when I couldn't make up my mind. We skipped apps which ended up being fine because I drank enough to void my hunger. For dinner I tried the turkey burger. Added American and bacon. Also had my fries changed to Poutine style. Everything was great. My wife ordered their version of a Reuben. I have to say, this was the best Reuben I've ever had. I don't even like Reuben's, but I will definitely be eating one on my next trip over. They slice the meat thinner then I have ever seen. And it was cooked perfectly. My only critique was that it could've used alittle more sauerkraut. Though don't let that stop you.. its really an awesome sandwich! read more

Brewology is a great gastropub spot. Food is descent, many craft beers and really fun decor/theme. So we got a flight of beers. They also have flights if whiskey available. Chemistry lab theme through and through! Served in beakers, and ordered off of the periodic table of beers. Found a delish grapefruit and a really crisp local summer ale. For food we got the frites. Loved the gravy on it, but very salty. Hence...we drank more beer. And then, we split a mac and cheese. Salty as well. Perfect breadcrumb topping. Sucker for a breadcrumb topping. Friendly , quick service , with great food and drinks . My boyfriend and I had the turkey burger and the angus steak burger which were both delicious . Big portions and great fresh food . Another plus was the two for one bloody Mary's and mimosas . Usually when it's two for one the drinks aren't up to par but we had both and they were great . Great food consistently. We live nearby and have been here many times! Cindy is the best! Recently had the new buratta appetizer and it was delicious. My husband and I just had dinner at Brewology. He suggested going there because he remembered a recently posted pic of good looking squash ravioli dish on their menu. We ended up having a great meal. We started with spicy calamari. The calamari was tender with a light crispy coating. A creamy dipping sauce on this side. Fantastic! The baby kale and pear salad were also delicious. I had the shrimp and grits as my entrée. While not traditional, this was a home run. The dish had several large, perfectly cooked shrimp over a bed of tender and creamy grits. A tasty sauce complimented both the shrimp and the grits. My husband had the squash ravioli with roasted pumpkin seeds and goat cheese. This dish was fantastic. Served with two slices of toasted bread, he asked for more bread to sop up every drop of the sauce. The meal was capped off by the "donuts and coffee" dessert. Three warm donuts stuffed with Nutella and marshmallow arrived. The "coffee" was a rich chocolate sauce for dipping. All topped off with a few clouds of tasty whipped cream. Also noteworthy was the french press coffee. Steaming hot and satisfying. Our server Samantha was attentive without being obtrusive. She was personable and her presence added to our nice night out. Came here with my girlfriend for a quick nite and drink, which turned into an entire meal once we saw the new pasta options they added to the menu. We did not regret it! The food was DELICIOUS! Both pasta dishes had great flavor and were very rich. Only slight issue I noticed was that the Gnocci seemed slightly overcooked because some were harder than most, but I still ate it all bc it was so good! I've been here before and had better reviews. I suppose being a weeknight they didn't have the best people on staff. It was a slow night, not too many customers, around 7pm. Service was really slow. The waitress was nice but forgot a few things. I had a lipstick stained water glass (it happens, so I'm not a jerk about it), but it was taking a while to get a new glass after I asked, so I reached to the empty table next to me and grabbed one. Both the waitress and the bartender forgot the ordered beer. Food came out slow (which isn't a dealbreaker) and was delicious. Menu is limited, but also not a big deal. Everything on the menu is unique. The Chili calamari was crispy and spicy and perfect. My grilled cheese and soup was excellent and the bf was very happy with his Br burger. My previous experience with the food was just as good, just had better and more attentive service. It kinda also doesn't look great when the bartender has a pizza delivered for her own dinner and eats it right at the bar. I get it, maybe you don't want to eat the food served , but mayyyyybe take some initiative to conceal the box and eat it discreetly. Wish I could say I would go back, it's a cool trendy place with a fun menu...but there's other places calling me name. Worth a try if you're interested...just be patient if you find service lacking. read more
