Happy Hour at Bricco is plentiful in portions. Quaint restaurant (inside) which feels it's a neighborhood restaurant. Customers seem to know the staff. We had the following food and each of the dishes were good American favorites comfort food: Caesar Salad, Fried Mozzarella, and Spaghetti Marinara.

My wife and I stopped by here during happy hour. We ordered the spaghetti and marinara, fried mozzarella, and Caesar salad. All three dishes were great: robust flavors, fresh ingredients, well-prepared and very good-sized portions. And for happy hour prices that were very reasonable. My wife and I left full. The next time I go back for happy hour, I'll order one of their drinks, which are also reasonably priced. The hostess was very friendly and so was our waitress. Happy hour appears to be popular, as the restaurant was full. The ambiance was buzzy, high energy, people enjoying their meals and each other's company. This is a friendly, neighborhood-type restaurant. They also have music, although we didn't stay to listen to it. Definitely a place I'll return to.

We are at Bricco almost every weekend -- it's become our go-to spot for great pizza and good vibes. We always sit at the bar, where the staff knows us by now and treats everyone like family. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. We always get the New York-style pizza, half jalapeño and pineapple, and the other half pepperoni and sausage. It's the perfect combo of sweet, spicy, and savory -- and the crust is always thin, crisp, and perfectly charred from the oven. You can tell they really care about quality here. One of my favorite parts about Bricco is the live music. They often have cover singers doing classics -- think Elvis, Frank Sinatra, and other old-school favorites -- and it gives the whole place this fun, nostalgic energy that makes you want to linger a little longer. Whether we're just grabbing a drink and pizza at the bar or making a full night of it, Bricco never misses. It's easily one of the highlights of my weekend every time.

Because changing into going out clothes and driving sounded exhausting, we went with delivery instead. THE FOOD. - House Salad. The pile of mozzarella cheese and roasted red bell peppers are amazing! Oh, and the salad is fresh too. It serves at least two people (with second helpings if needed). - Deluxe Pizza. A nice balance of bold and fresh flavors. The pepperoni & sausage brought savoriness while the canadian bacon added a touch of sweetness. Red onions and roasted peppers gave a vibrant lift whereas the mushrooms and black olives grounded it with earthy, briny notes. Cheesy mozzarella and the boldness of Parmesan cheeses finish off this delicious pizza. - Build Your Own Pizza. He only wanted pepperoni & onions because life doesn't have to be complicated (his words, not mine). THE RETURN. I'd come back for more pizza and salad!

Cute place for good food, generous pours, and live music! We came on a Friday night and got a lot of dishes to share. We got the calamari, bolognese, ceasar salad, linguine, and pizza along with wine & dessert. Everything tasted fresh and if you come for happy hour, you have an extensive food and drink menu to choose from. The live music was really nice and the service is excellent.

Hubby was craving Cacio e Pepe, so I did a search on Yelp and this was the closest place that offered it. The reviews for their Cacio e Pepe seemed promising, so we decided to give it a shot. We ended up ordering our food to go. I called at 3:45pm to see if I could place the order for 4pm pick up, but they said no, and to call back at 4pm when they open. I wondered why they even picked up the phone in the first place? Hubby arrived at 4pm, placed the order for 2 Cacio e Pepe's to go, and it was ready in 15 min. When we opened up our food containers at home, we were pleased with the size and portion of the pasta, however they completely missed the mark on the flavor. I'll admit that we've had authentic Cacio e Pepe quite a few times in Italy, so we know what it should taste like. Unfortunately this was not it. First of all, the dish was very soupy and watered down. Typically Cacio e Pepe is creamy and consists of pecorino, pepper & butter. The pecorino and pepper were very light. We actually barely tasted any pecorino, but there was some type of cheese on it. The pepper was also very light, which is not typical for this dish. The pasta was unfortunately over-cooked (too soft) and not al dente. And last of all, Cacio e Pepe should be creamy, not watery and soupy. This review is solely based on the Cacio e Pepe dish, so please keep that in mind. We would consider returning to try their pizza or lasagna. They also seem to have a good happy hour menu.

Pleasantly surprised at Bricco yesterday. A group of us went to dinner at this small but very clean, and chic restaurant. The food was great and delicious. The only reason for the 4 stars is that one person ordered a Chicken Salad and it took forever for it to come out. A couple of people were almost done eating when the salad came out. I was pleasantly surprised the menu was updated and added a vegan and gluten free dinner option. Bravo! I ordered the Kale and Mushroom Vegan Ravioli.... so good! The house salad can also be accommodated to be vegan. Wonderful! I was a happy camper! Our server was very kind, helpful, and polite. We'll definitely be back. Hopefully, next time will be a 5 start review.

We came here for dinner tonight. The restaurant is small but they also have a tent outside that is very cute. Food was delicious and service was great. I had the chicken piccata and that was very good. The pasta was perfectly cooked, el dente, and it had a nice chewy texture. The zucchini was also very good and not overcooked. Hubby had the pappardelle pasta with bolognese (meat sauce with beef & pork) and he loved it. We had Diane as our server and she was wonderful. Staff is very well-trained here and everyone is so nice. There's also live entertainment on the weekends. The guy started out just singing but he changed into an Elvis Presley outfit later and did a fantastic job entertaining diners.

My wife and I had a spur of the moment craving for some Italian and on the recommendation of some of the folks on her FB groups we decided to check out Bricco. Our server, Jennifer was wonderful. Attentive and personable. The outside seating was nice with a patio heater setup. I ordered the Blue Collar Chicago Style and my wife ordered the Alfredo and it was delish! We wrapped it up with the Nutella donut balls (lol) and had enough left over for the next three days! Forgot what the name was. Definitely coming back. Especially to check out the pizza and the different style crusts. The 14" seems to be the perfect size too. Excellent!

The food was absolutely delicious. Our server Michelle was great & the ambiance was inviting. Our first time here and we can't wait to keep coming again and again.

My second visit. Went on a Wednesday night. It was not too busy. The dining room was mostly full, and the patio was empty. We were greeted promptly, but the staff appeared stretched thin. It took about 5 minutes to be seated, despite no one being ahead of us. We ordered calamari shortly after sitting down. It arrived a very long 15 minutes. The portion size was reasonable, and the quality was very good. The marinara was served warm, and the arugula added a nice contrast in texture and flavor. This was the strongest part of the meal. When the calamari arrived, we placed our entrée order: a gluten-free pizza and two pasta dishes. The entrées arrived about 20 minutes later. There was a lot of waiting. Approximately 40 minutes worth (5 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes for the appetizer, and 20 minutes for entrées), which felt long given the overall crowd level. The pizza was very good, especially since it was gluten-free. The pasta dishes were below average. They were overcooked and soft, with sauce applied too heavily. We finished with tiramisu. It was good quality, though somewhat expensive. The total was $107.21 before tax and tip. The staff was friendly and professional throughout the visit. Service delays appeared related to staffing levels and kitchen pacing. Overall, this visit was inconsistent compared to my previous experience. Some items were strong, while others fell short, and service was slower than expected for the price point. P.S. The restaurant next door, Alo Asian Kitchen, was under renovation again when we left. At this point, this is probably the sixth or seventh remodel I've seen there.

Such a lovely family restaurant. We sat outside in the Patio. And they have heat lamp. We ended up order a bottle of Decoy wine. The food was Delicious. Service was Excellent and very Attentive. We enjoyed it very much. And would come back for more.

Will definitely be back! Chicago native and have been searching for a pizza like this for years. We ordered a large, whole sausage, half green pepper and onion. So good! My Aunt and I both ordered the small house salad as well - and we both loved it. We sat inside and it was a really nice atmosphere. There is a pretty patio set up outside as well with nice lighting and greenery. Staff was super friendly and social with us which was nice. They didn't rush us and seemed to want to get to know their customers. Thank you! read more

Ordered takeout for our first visit. Phoning in our order was easy and efficient. Spin arrival staff was helpful and courteous. The food was delicious, fresh and made to order. The Caesar was perfection, chilled, crispy, homemade dressing and croutons were the perfect bite. Pizza was light, and delicious. The meatball was a huge hit with the whole family. We came in last night to celebrate with Douglas Roegiers "The Crooner" entertaining. The food, wine, service, and ambiance were amazing!!! We will go back for more!!! There are options to sit inside, or out with a heat lamp, the casual and friendly atmosphere is very pleasurable to say the least. "Briccio" is our new favorite Italian restaurant. read more

If you are gluten free and order through GrubHub beware. I ordered a GF pizza and it was delivered. I checked my receipt and my pizza was labeled gluten free. I ate 2 slices and I noticed that the crust was different--more chewy than normal. Uh-oh, right? I called the restaurant and the manager told me that the pizza was not gluten free and that they were out of the gluten free crust for 2 weeks. OH NO! I cannot eat gluten for medical reasons. They really didn't care. Sure, I didn't get charged but I got screwed over because (1) I will get sick, and (2) my family is eating pizza while I cannot. I am frustrated because I checked the receipt to be SURE. I feel like I just got punked. Not cool! Now this usually doesn't happen at this place and their GF pizza is really good. It just a warning to be really careful because they are not necessarily looking out for you. read more

MIND BLOWING FANTASTICALLY INSANELY AMAZING AUTHENTIC ITALIAN! We landed in Laguna Niguel from ...I know, {Newport Beach}, - unfortunately people are fleeing our once sleepy town, to new areas. I have traveled around the world and tonight's dinner was one of the best dinners that I've ever had my life! I experienced Bricco's a few weeks ago and had a dinner and I thought it was exceptionally delicious and we ate on the plate and had left overs for a couple of days - portions are definitely substantial. After going to this restaurant and waiting for my to go food outside with my dog and an ice cold Modelo this place rocks! The pasta is homemade and cooked Al Dente - perfecto! This was our first visit here so sampled the pizza, pasta, soup, salad and appetizers. Everything was made from scratch, fresh, seasoned perfectly and hit a home run in my book. Thought to try them out as the restaurant is walking distance from my house. Was craving a chicken parm with a side of spaghetti in meat sauce and unfortunately that's not what I was served. App ordered was the garlic cheese toast that is perfect. Topped with Parmesan/Mozzarella, shaved basil and marinara dipping sauce. The chicken seemed to be frozen mini cutlets that were drenched in marinara sauce which was very light. The fettuccini pasta that was also doused with this marinara sauce. Everything tasted the same. Sent it back and requested the Linguini and Clams in the white wine sauce spicy. This was absolutely delish. A few closed clams but they serve you plenty and ingredients are Very fresh. after driving by this place no fewer than 600 times, my husband and I finally made it in. What a great discovery! He was in heaven with his chicken Parmesan, garlicky Caesar salad, and tiramisu. I had the shrimp and linguine, and the shrimp are ginormous and perfectly done. They have a daily happy hour where are you get a few dollars off of select food and drink. The owner stopped by to say hello and he told us about the live music that they have every Friday and Saturday. We look forward to checking that out sometime soon. Four of us tried four different dishes along with bruschetta trio and a Margherita Pizza for appetizers. Everyone was happy and went away stuffed. Our server was attentive and very sweet. Karen, our server, was so nice and welcoming! When we told her that it was our first time here, she took the time to explain the menu, suggest great options, and informed us about live music on the weekends starting at 6pm. We ordered linguine Alfredo and p bolognese off the happy hour menu (portion is half the size of the regular portion) and 14 inch NY style C5 on one half and Blue Collar on the other half. EVERYTHING was amazing and will definitely come back with family and friends! read more

I ordered a pizza from here through door dash to have ready at 4:35pm. When I got to the restaurant, the girl at the restaurant said oh we forgot to turn on our over and your pizza was not made. They open @ 4:00pm and at 4:30pm they just noticed there oven wasn't on. What gets me they did say they were sorry. When I asked for a refund, they said you have to go and get it from door dash. What really sucks about it, is there pizza is really good but when you treat customers like this you lose my business. BTW this has happened before and I gave them another chance... What gets me, if they knew there was a problem, why didn't they cony me. What a way to run a business. I will never, ever come back to your restaurant and will make sure I will tell as many people that I can of how this restaurant treats their customers. If I could have given them zero stars I would read more

Loved last night at Brico !!! The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service provided by Kimberly was stellar. What made the night an absolute standout, however, was the entertainment by Dave Alcantar and Jeff Jorgenson. We could not believe the power of this musical team- they had every one on their feet, or smiling in their chairs with the music . My guests kept commenting on how nice it was to get a "free concert," while enjoying a yummy meal in a very warm, and inviting restaurant . Driving an hour to get to this restaurant with its delightful entertainment and food was worth an hour's drive. read more

Not really Italian pizza. Margherita had sliced tomatoes and garlic. Haven't tried anything other than pizza but if that is an indication this is more of an American-Italian kind of place, unlike the website description. Incredible pizza! I had New York style! The large 18" pizza was tremendous! Exciting flavors, perfect crust, and just delicious. Cold beer, and awesome wine selection! The place is clean, well staffed, and parking is good. I haven't attended the live music nights yet, but I plan too. Great local Italian restaurant! I'm gonna start going often! read more

The Caesar salad was so tasty. I love the fried capers that are added. Bricco does an excellent thin crust Chicago style pizza. Last visit we enjoyed a couple of their pasta dishes. The wait staff was very attentive. I enjoy going on the weekends as they have some very good musical acts playing. As a Chardonnay drinker I was very disappointed with their Chardonnay. They offer one brand and to my palate, it is not very good. I will byo on my next visit. read more

Bought a light crust pizza called Blue Collar, at Bricco's last night and it was very good. The light crust pizza had generous amounts of the toppings such as pepperoni, sausage, meatballs and cooked just right. I understand Bricco's has gluten free pizzas too which I will try next time. If you dine in, they have a singer and great music on weekdays. The diners seem to like the music and singer . I do recommend you try Bricco's I was pleasantly surprised how great the pizza was. I feel the layout of this restaurant is awful. They need to redesign it so everyone can see and hear the singers. Also, the pasta dish I ordered lacked flavor. If you want really good Italian food, go elsewhere. read more

I'd give it one star if it wasn't for the pleasant people that worked there. When we called to order some linguine, we were told that they didn't have linguine noodles... huh? You're an Italian restaurant. That's analogous to calling a Mexican restaurant to place an order then and being told that the tortillas had the day off. Anyway, we went ahead and ordered the seafood arrabiatta. Wow... Chef Boyardee is rolling over in his grave. There was a total of 2 shrimp and a handful of calamari. The spaghetti was way over cooked and the sauce was a negation to culinary quality. Hadn't been there in a while and just remembered why we don't go... the staff is really nice though. Owners Jordan and Creig Mullikin love to eat delicious food, drink great wine and be treated like family. They want every bite, every sip, every visit to be delicious and a treat. Meet the Business Owner: Jordan M.

He has worked in restaurants since he was 12 years old. In 2005, he launched a restaurant and catering business in Irvine, which he successfully operated until 2021. That year, he sold the kitchen and transitioned the catering operations to the newly acquired Bricco Cucina and Wine Bar which he now runs with his father and Co-owner Creig “Mully”

We decided to try Bistro K as we were in the area and the reviews, pictures and the menu looked good, plus we were in the mood for a good Italian meal. We were greeted at the door by Brittany, who sat us promptly and was actually our waiter. Brittany set the tone for the evening and carried it through to the end. Simply fabulous service and personality. She made us feel not just welcome, but a part of the family. But it wasn't just the service that was so special. We decided to start with a glass of wine. I ordered the Prisoner Red while my wife ordered the Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. And then the first hint of the forthcoming special culinary experience came. Their Focaccia bread. This bread, with a little cheese on top was supreme. Light, flavorful and the perfect start. We remarked that we could just drink wine and eat focaccia all evening! Next we split a Ceasar salad to start. It was fresh, crisp, with shavings of parmasean and a spot on Ceasar dressing. Next came our main course. I chose the Alaskan Halibut off their specials menu, however, rather than piccata sauce, I chose Brittany's recommendation to have it Alla Checca, with fresh tomatoes and basil. My wife chose the Chicken Piccata, because piccata sauce is a true test of any Italian restaurant. The halibut was perfectly prepared and a generous filet. Maybe the best halibut dish I've ever eaten. The tomato's and basil gave a nice acidic complement to the fish and the juice from the tomato's made the fish tender, flakey and moist. Served with perfectly prepared green beans and potato's. The chicken piccata was simply excellent, with just the right amount of lemon and perfect consistency. The chicken was perfectly pounded out and cooked. Also served with green beans and potato's. At this point, we thought we'd reached the peak, when Brittany brought out a giant slice of coconut cake and two decaf cappuccinos. OMG. This coconut cake should be illegal. To say it was great is an understatement. Light, full of flavor and coconut shavings. Simply phenomenal. Tina, the pastry chef, has it nailed on this cake. If you like coconut, you must try it. A++! If we could give a 6 stars on Yelp, we would. We feel it is under rated at 4.3. We are already planning our next visit to Bistro K, and can hardly wait.

This is a hidden gem. Ownership has changed a year and a half ago. It is family owned and operated, and yes the Owners are actually working in the kitchen and dining room. Everything on the menu is made fresh, from the pasta's, the sauces down to the salad dressings and desserts. They also have live entertainment/music on Fridays and Saturdays. The entertainers are top notch, American Idol caliber, and some actually are as well as performers in movies. You can see who is performing on their website and read their bio's. Reservations on these evenings are highly recommended, I would say they are a must. It is a small place, therefor it gets a bit loud inside making it difficult to have an intimate conversation, but they have a great outdoor heated tent with a speaker outside for those that want to have a good meal and with a full on conversation. I went on a Saturday night around 6:45 and there was plenty of seating available. We started with some complimentary focaccia with olive oil and balsamic, and then I ordered the cheese and spinach ravioli, that comes with a small side salad. My friend ordered the chicken Parmesan and I highly recommend. That one also comes with a baby side salad as well as broccolini and a small portion of delicious fettuccini Alfredo. It was quite the meal. We finished dinner with one of the best pieces of tiramisu I've ever had. The portion was huge, enough to have some left over for later. I wish I could remember our server's name...she was wonderful! Super friendly and helpful. She also gave great recommendations on what to order. Looking forward to coming back soon!

From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming. Our waiter was awesome--attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making the night special. The owner even stopped by and was incredibly warm and personable, which really added to the experience. The food was super good. The Bianca Pizza and the Bolognese were straight-up bomb--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly executed. You can tell a lot of pride goes into the kitchen here. Great service, great food, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot for a special occasion. We can't wait to come back and try more items on the menu. Highly recommend!

The pasta was also mediocre. For a sit down restaurant with sit down restaurant prices, the food was not the quality it should've been. We got a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side for $8, so overall the desserts are on the more pricy side. I highly recommend and will continue to come back.
