Dumplings the portions are really really small, perhaps advertising them as appetizers and showing the size would help for future orders?

Food is amazing, service friendly and helpful the ambience is vivid and very pleasant. I haven't tried all their menu items the ones I've gotten are always great.

I came here to try the fig matcha advertised on Instagram but was ultimately disappointed. The fig matcha is supposed to have fig syrup as the sweetener and I'm normally notorious for not liking anything to sweet.. except I did not taste any sweetener AT ALL. It was basically just a matcha late unsweetened. I don't know if they just forgot the sweetener or what, but it just didn't taste right.

Interesting mix. I've never had fig and matcha together but it was a pleasant surprise. I taste more vanilla and it's not too sweet. Overall, I liked!

Went in with very high expectations of Brick Cafe but was quickly reminded of how hard it is to establish oneself as a powerhouse for coffee. The cafe seems to connect into a restaurant, then a bar. I thought it would be just a coffee shop in general. As for the drinks, the matcha is very earthy and the coffee is Temple, there didn't seem to be an Afghan "taste" to anything, more so the aesthetics of the place. If you're looking for coffee and matcha to compare with the other coffee staple locations in Sacramento, there are other finds that might be better. I'll return to try their other drinks soon.

Brick Café (inside Brickland) is hands down one of my favorite spots in Sacramento. It's Afghan-inspired and seriously such a gem. The people here are incredible. The staff is always so kind, welcoming, and honestly just the sweetest. Customer service is unmatched, and the baristas go above and beyond every time. Now for the drinks - my top two favorites are the Silk Road Latte and the Fig Matcha. The Silk Road Latte has these authentic Afghan flavors that are so unique and delicious!! I crave it daily :) And the Fig Matcha? Made with ceremonial grade matcha and the fig gives it this perfect twist. Both are 10/10. The vibe here is amazing, the drinks are next-level, and the people make it even better. I'm here pretty much every weekend since their soft opening at this point lol! P.s I've also had the rose matcha and that has to be my other top contender!! It's AMAZING

An Afghan coffee shop!!! It's about time I love this place. The staff is so kind. Despite how busy they were when I went, their service was still fast and incredible. There are outlets at almost every table and the seats are all super cozy. Very good vibes. I tried the anjir matcha and the Silk Road latte. Both were SOOOO good! Don't get me started on the aesthetics of this place! Absolutely gorgeous! Everything is very well thought out and curated. I'm so excited to see what's to come for Brick Cafe.

They are secretly hiding a gourmet kitchen in there. I only came for coffee, but the food envy was real the second I saw the dishes on the other tables. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs with an iced herbal tea. And what can I say? SO. GOOD. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the culinary mashup of kimchi and chimichurri was immaculate. I loved it so much I literally couldn't leave without buying a second order to-go for my mom. Yes, THAT good. This is a must-visit if you're in Sacramento. I'm already plotting my return to try their popular Vietnamese coffee.

Wanted to try this place because of the YouTube channel, Feed MeiMei…read more The Cold Brew with Hojicha Foam was delicious and was described perfectly by our front girl. The Black Sesame French Toast was fantastic! We also got the Date-Orange Latte and the Salted Honey Lavender Latte, both tasted great! Our three drinks took less than 10 minutes, and I think the French Toast took exactly ten minutes. Not long at all, and it was busy when we were there(11am). My order was to-go, and they were all perfectly packaged! I so appreciate the front girl answering all my silly questions, the efficiency of the team, getting to watch the man in the kitchen do his work, and the clean and inviting presence of the place. My daughter brought in her baby milk and spilt some, only for one of the guys to clean it up quickly. I so appreciate you guys!! There was a challenge, as I also spoke with the front girl about, but parking is competitive. All the parking spots were taken. Some parking spots were reserved for the neighboring businesses, so I found parking on the roadside. Is it possible to expand the parking lot? It's tough to give patronage to this great business with this challenge. I suppose it's a good problem to have when many people want to come here ;)

From the moment we walked in, I noticed all the little details that made the space feel so inviting, like lots of plants, good music, and a cozy atmosphere that made me want to stay awhile (which, we did). It's the kind of place where you can meet up with a friend, get some work done, or simply enjoy a slow morning. The coffee was excellent, and I have to mention the chocolate croissant because it was easily one of the most chocolate-filled croissants I've had in a long time. So good! Another thing I appreciated was how spacious it was. There were plenty of tables and room to spread out, which was perfect since I came with my kiddo. She loved the open space and even turned it into her own little dance floor while I enjoyed my coffee for a bit. Overall, this is a wonderful local spot with a welcoming atmosphere, delicious coffee, and plenty of space to relax or work. I will definitely be back!

The wait wasn't long and the decor really sets this place apart from other coffee shops. They have a Porsche parked in the middle of the coffee place. They sell their coffee as well as other pastries but I didn't give any a try. Nothing that struck me with I need to try this in terms of pastries. There coffee and matcha is sourced from Vietnam. If your looking for a place to chill with friends and for vibes I'd recommend coming here. The Bourbon vanilla latte was just ehh. Small smoky taste in the drink but pretty much a vanilla latte. Told the person that I didn't really like my drink and they told me it's because of the condensed milk they offer as a sweetener in the matcha even though the person didn't say it wouldn't taste good with the matcha. In addition took a while to convince the person to make another drink which I think of I didn't really drink much of the drink I think it means it wasn't good. Remade drink was the hojicha which I appreciate the person remade after the struggle but unfortunately it wasn't for me. Again love the decor but in terms of drinks I won't be back.

The employee was talking on their phone a bit throughout the time I was there, but I didn't mind since I was still deciding on a drink and not ready to order. I got the mocha drink and the Finjan coffee. I enjoyed both but I think I liked the mocha drink more. They had a wide variety of dessert that looked amazing. I want to come back and try them one day! They were absolutely mouth-watering, but too early in the day for me to have sweets. Their coffee house is quite large, with a lot of seating. It seems like a nice place to study! I loved that they had murals outside and that the nearby outside seating was also lovely. There is a wonderful aesthetic inside the shop and in the plaza it is located in.

I usually get them both at 50% sweetness. Another thing they offer here that some other shops don't have are the mini boba balls. My friend ordered the uji matcha latte macchiato with the mini balls, and he wanted another one to-go! The shop is a tad small and cozy(ish) since the seats and tables are close together. The theme is very colors of a bee; black and yellow. There's a long bench with cushions so it's a good place to sip and chill, and people come here to study it seems. Ive been here a few times mainly on a Saturday and all 3x it's been busy. They have 2 kiosks you can order from, or you can order from a human. Wushiland choose a good area of Sac to post up shop because it's the currently the only boba drink shop (for now) near Hollywood Park/Land Park and very close to Sac City College. They're located in the corner of a strip mall type plaza. And parking isn't too bad. Overall, good drinks for a reasonable price and service is decent. They have a fun logo, too. I would definitely come back here to try more of their drinks!
