The only thing that threw me off was that if I wasn't mistaken, the barista left room for cream and didn't fill the cup all the way. Usually I hear baristas ask if I'd like room for cream or not so that's why it threw me off a little seeing my cup not filled all the way. Otherwise this seems like a very humble coffee shop with a large variety of coffee, definitely wouldn't mind coming back here to try other items.

I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather.
