Dumplings the portions are really really small, perhaps advertising them as appetizers and showing the size would help for future orders?

Food is amazing, service friendly and helpful the ambience is vivid and very pleasant. I haven't tried all their menu items the ones I've gotten are always great.

I came here to try the fig matcha advertised on Instagram but was ultimately disappointed. The fig matcha is supposed to have fig syrup as the sweetener and I'm normally notorious for not liking anything to sweet.. except I did not taste any sweetener AT ALL. It was basically just a matcha late unsweetened. I don't know if they just forgot the sweetener or what, but it just didn't taste right.

Interesting mix. I've never had fig and matcha together but it was a pleasant surprise. I taste more vanilla and it's not too sweet. Overall, I liked!

Went in with very high expectations of Brick Cafe but was quickly reminded of how hard it is to establish oneself as a powerhouse for coffee. The cafe seems to connect into a restaurant, then a bar. I thought it would be just a coffee shop in general. As for the drinks, the matcha is very earthy and the coffee is Temple, there didn't seem to be an Afghan "taste" to anything, more so the aesthetics of the place. If you're looking for coffee and matcha to compare with the other coffee staple locations in Sacramento, there are other finds that might be better. I'll return to try their other drinks soon.

Brick Café (inside Brickland) is hands down one of my favorite spots in Sacramento. It's Afghan-inspired and seriously such a gem. The people here are incredible. The staff is always so kind, welcoming, and honestly just the sweetest. Customer service is unmatched, and the baristas go above and beyond every time. Now for the drinks - my top two favorites are the Silk Road Latte and the Fig Matcha. The Silk Road Latte has these authentic Afghan flavors that are so unique and delicious!! I crave it daily :) And the Fig Matcha? Made with ceremonial grade matcha and the fig gives it this perfect twist. Both are 10/10. The vibe here is amazing, the drinks are next-level, and the people make it even better. I'm here pretty much every weekend since their soft opening at this point lol! P.s I've also had the rose matcha and that has to be my other top contender!! It's AMAZING

An Afghan coffee shop!!! It's about time I love this place. The staff is so kind. Despite how busy they were when I went, their service was still fast and incredible. There are outlets at almost every table and the seats are all super cozy. Very good vibes. I tried the anjir matcha and the Silk Road latte. Both were SOOOO good! Don't get me started on the aesthetics of this place! Absolutely gorgeous! Everything is very well thought out and curated. I'm so excited to see what's to come for Brick Cafe.

From the moment we walked in, I noticed all the little details that made the space feel so inviting, like lots of plants, good music, and a cozy atmosphere that made me want to stay awhile (which, we did). It's the kind of place where you can meet up with a friend, get some work done, or simply enjoy a slow morning. The coffee was excellent, and I have to mention the chocolate croissant because it was easily one of the most chocolate-filled croissants I've had in a long time. So good! Another thing I appreciated was how spacious it was. There were plenty of tables and room to spread out, which was perfect since I came with my kiddo. She loved the open space and even turned it into her own little dance floor while I enjoyed my coffee for a bit. Overall, this is a wonderful local spot with a welcoming atmosphere, delicious coffee, and plenty of space to relax or work. I will definitely be back!

Honestly my first thoughts were, "why is there a car in here?" but Im sure car enthusiasts would fancy seeing a luxurious prestige vehicle in a cafe and everyone else would find it interesting as it is unusual for a cafe to just have a car right in the middle of its establishment. Their menu isnt overwhelming and only has a few selections, theres good pastries to try out as well. Coffee was alright and the pastries were ok, overall I guess I was just more distracted by the business's set pieces. In any case, check the place out, parking can be a pain if it gets busy, typical downtown sac. Issues.

I was a bit sad because their drink selection is a bit small. However, they were very helpful in helping me pick out a drink and explaining what some of their other drinks were. The employee was talking on their phone a bit throughout the time I was there, but I didn't mind since I was still deciding on a drink and not ready to order. I got the mocha drink and the Finjan coffee. I enjoyed both but I think I liked the mocha drink more. They had a wide variety of dessert that looked amazing. I want to come back and try them one day! They were absolutely mouth-watering, but too early in the day for me to have sweets. Their coffee house is quite large, with a lot of seating. It seems like a nice place to study! I loved that they had murals outside and that the nearby outside seating was also lovely. There is a wonderful aesthetic inside the shop and in the plaza it is located in.

They also have gluten free and vegan pastries too, and maybe the non specialty regular pastries as well, I'm not sure, so all of those are good options for those who get the munchies. It does get kind of crowded here at times esp on weekends, and the parking is challenging bc their lot is small and there's also zero shade. Seems most people park on the side streets in the neighborhood, but there are posted reminders to park respectfully and not block driveways and walkways. Service is good as the baristas are fast and good at their craft. I really like the ambiance here, it's really chill and it's nicely cooled here on a hot day though it really can get too crowded like I said, but everyone's respectful and people will share a table or let you squeeze in on the long table or side table. All in all, one of the better coffee shops in town. I don't live near east sac, but for coming to this Temple coffee location, I'm happy to make the drive.

The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop.
