    Fully Loaded Gyro
    Scott P.

Excellent little whole in thebwall restaurant. I've driven past this place for the 2 years we have lived in the area and always wanted to try it. Tried it today and was blown away. I had a Fully Loaded Gyro and my wife had the Chicken Panini. The Gyro was authentic and tasted like I was back in Greece. The meat was well seasoned. The lettuice, tomato, onion, and feta were all fresh. The tzatziki sauch was awesome. The portion was size was enormous and each bite was the perfect combination of meat, veggies, and sauce and cheese. My wifes chicken panini with roasted tomatoes and peppers looked really good. She said the chicken was juicy and the sandwich was really good. Zero negatives with this place. I will be returning.

    "Orange cranberry" ciabatta turkey sandwich

This was my first time eating here, after reading the reviews I figured I would give it a try since Sedalias food scene is absolute garbage! This landed right on that heap with the other spots here... To start the prices on the website are wrong and they didn't tell me about the charge to use my card cause I would have paid cash had they informed me of an over 2% sur charge! I ordered the orange berry turkey ciabatta sandwich, which as described as a cranberry orange ciabatta bread with turkey (very little turkey at that!) and all the "Greek" fixings.... It was a plain ciabatta bread with a few dots of some sort of cranberry spread! I opened the container before leaving the drive thru and showed the lady and she insisted that it was the cranberry orange bread... I didn't want to argue so I said fine. The other thing I got was the sample platter with a small Greek salad and pitta bread with hummus and tzatziki yogurt and three falafels... the salad was not good and the pitta and sides were the best part of the whole meal, the falafels where ok, not very flavorful. All in all save your money it's not worth the unexpected price tag!

Great food, excellent service. A good place to change up from the run of the mill restaurants. Definitely worth stopping in and trying!

Just ok - choices are limited in a small town though. Unfortunately they weren't real friendly either.

Great food. A little steap on the prices. Average atmosphere. I would have liked to see hear some Mediterranean music.

Basil cashew chicken is the best! Everything I have had on the menu is great. Definitely one of the best places to eat in Sedalia.

My favorite thing here is the brickette burgers, second would be the gyro sliders. My daughter's all time favorite is the chicken gyro.

Not your typical round shape but more of a tube/long shape which really works great for dipping them in tzatziki. We also had grape leaves which come warm. Yummy! We had a chicken shawarma and gyro entree. Both came with rice, salad, pita, and hummus. All very good. My one criticism is I prefer my protein sliced more thinly instead of a thick cut. It's a texture issue for me. The thicker, the chewier. The chicken also had a bit of chewy skin. It could have had more flavor. Still good but this is what made my review 4 instead of 5 stars. I thought the gyro had a little more flavor than the chicken. You order at the counter and then they walk your food out to you when it's gone. Our two appetizers came out very quickly. Our entrees just a few minutes later. Service was smooth and very good. The guys working there were all friendly. Great service! The restaurant is very clean, plenty of seating, and lots of appropriate artwork. It was cold in there but it was really hot outside that day so they had the air turned up. It did make my dining in experience a bit tough since I couldn't escape sitting under an air vent but I don't really want yo criticize them much for running the air in a hot day. That's better than the alternative. On the way out I got a small variety pack of baklava and a rice pudding. Both really good! I'm still eating the baklava. I really like being able to get the variety! It's hard to choose. We would definitely go back again. On the way out, we saw 2 gentleman with gyro salads. Wow, it's a huge bowl with gyro piled high! Looked fantastic and I want to try the gyro salad now!

I couldn't have told you a single thing about this part of the country. But after one lunch at Beet Box, I'll be talking about Columbia for a long time. The Lamb & Eggs is an absolute masterpiece. On paper, it doesn't even sound like it should work. Then it shows up looking like a beautiful mess--a mishmash of flavors, textures, herbs, vegetables, creamy elements, perfectly fried eggs, and incredibly seasoned lamb. It feels like chaos... until you take the first bite. Then it all makes perfect sense. Every ingredient has a purpose, and somehow it all comes together in one of the most memorable dishes I've had in a very long time. As incredible as that bowl was, the Za'atar Fries with Harissa Mayo somehow stole the show. Crispy. Battered. Perfectly seasoned. Every single fry had that satisfying crunch on the outside while staying fluffy inside, and the harissa mayo was the perfect finishing touch. These aren't fries you order because you're looking to round out the meal. They're fries you'll be thinking about long after you leave. I came into Columbia knowing absolutely nothing about it. I left wondering how a place this good isn't on every food lover's radar. Beet Box isn't just a great lunch spot--it's a Godsend. Six stars...out of five!

I just moved to this area from Elko, Nevada in October, so to be fair I'm unfamiliar with a lot of things...therefore I took to Yelp to see what was around! As soon as I saw, there was a Pita Pit, there were no more questions in my mind what I was going to have for lunch. I have not had Pita Pit in 14 years, and was helping and praying it would still be what I remembered it to be. As soon as I saw that they had falafel in a brown rice bowl I knew what I was getting. My only complaint is I was originally pretty sad that the falafel was all broken up and not in big round balls... but I digress. That bowl was fresh, filling and amazing!
