I came here with my wife for a pizza diner, the food was okay, but the service was one of the worst in my experience. Our server (Tewai) acted like we were invisible for no reason. We went at 2pm in the afternoon and it was so empty that we decided to eat in. I love it here. Clean, nice and lots of big tvs around to watch sports. Arrived here when they opened at 11a. Was seated and pulled up the menu using their QR code. Our order was taken and our beer and water came out promptly. We ordered their chips and salsa to start. The chips are made in house and came out warm and crisp. The salsa is also made in house and had excellent flavor. We shared a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It came out piping hot. Ordered two large pizza from here to take back to,our hotel after our sea turtle snorkeling trip. We ordered one sausage and one pepperoni. It came to $63.00,if paying in cash. Or $65.83 if paying with credit card. Luckily, I had exactly $65.00 in cash. The pepperoni,pizza was extremely greasy. I realize pepperoni does,usually get greasy, but it was so bad, I used paper towels to try to get some of the grease off. The sausage was supposedly homemade But it had just didn't taste good. They get points for offering red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese. While we got extra pizza for the day after breakfast or lunch, I sadly have to report these leftovers will be heading to the trash. My husband and I were craving pizza and decided to try out this brick oven location in kapolei. It's located near Chun Wah Kam/ Hula Boba, in that same parking lot but in the corner! So if your not tech savvy like my parents you may have a bit of a problem trying to get it to scan. If that be the case I hope the waitress/waiter will help you out! Fried onions rings were good and came with ketchup and ranch dressing sauce to dip. Came at 4pm on a Wednesday. The place was pretty empty. They have a full bar. The staff are friendly and checked on us frequently. She brought us the noodles and sauces separate so we could sauce our pasta to the consistency we wanted. When I tell you my daughters loved it..... that would be an understatement, one added more pesto than Alfredo and one more Alfredo than pesto. Both very happy and quite for the first few minutes of our meal. That's how I knew we picked the right place to be adventurous for dinner. I love this place. This is my second time visiting Brick Oven (the first being downtown), and the food is still delicious! I ordered a personal size pizza with a side order of buffalo wings. The pizza was hot, the cheese was "melty", and the wings were fresh out of the over hot as well. The bread on the pizza wasn't too thick--just the way I like it. And the greasiness was an added bonus. Our waiter was attentive and the service was good. The only issue I had was it took awhile for our drinks to come out once we sat down, but that wasn't a deal breaker. Everyone I was with enjoyed the pizza, so I'd say that's definitely a good sign.
