The arancini disappeared almost as fast as they arrived, and all three pizzas were excellent. What really set them apart, though, was the sourdough crust. Crisp, airy, chewy, and full of flavor before you even get to the toppings. If I had to pick a favorite, the Margherita gets a slight nod, but I'd happily order any of them again. The restaurant itself strikes a balance that's harder to achieve than it looks. It's big enough for a class reunion but intimate enough for date night. The energy is lively without being loud, making it just as easy to enjoy a conversation as another slice. As someone who's lived on the Mendocino Coast for decades, I probably appreciated one thing even more than the pizza. Seeing the old Hill House alive again put a smile on my face.
