Highlights: atmosphere noise is a little quieter since you're on a golf course but it can get a little louder depending on the diners and if they have glow golf going. Food and drinks were tasty but the service was a kinda slow. We were there around 6:30 and didn't make it out of there in time for our glow golf reservation at 8. It could be a little hard to find your server, but there is always someone around who asks how they can help. This most recent visit was a "step above the last time" that we were here. Is what I told Frankie the manager who also took care of us alongside Ethan our nice server. Not in a training type way just courtesy checks. Most people dining, when we came on a less busy Tuesday, were enjoying the fresh air and turf views on the outside back patio area. That's where we usually frequent but I wanted a booth inside-so that's where we dined. The few booths are located in the bar region. I could still look out and see the happenings outside & that's also what I prefer. Very open floor concept to this establishment. They had baseball on so we were able to keep up with teams' scores (although we couldn't see both the Sox play one another as we hoped that we could). Frankie told us some stories to his family ties to the east coast as well so that was fun. That he'd like to have glimpses of the game too if only they had that particular channel it was on. They decorate seasonally and currently because it's soccer FIFA season they have fun and whimsically have placed soccer themed decor throughout their restaurant. They're currently offering international type cocktails for $10 too. So how can we not pass up a caipirinha that had a different spin to it than an original regular caipirinha would have. Theirs has passion fruit flavor to it. I enjoyed it immensely. Kinda funny when you peep the bar tender peeping you take a mini photoshoot of their creation! For dinner we came in with the plan to share Birria tacos and a Beet Arugula salad. And to enjoy a glass of Orfila wine and to also get our wine pick-up. It used to be three tacos for $17 but since they had changed their menu and business design it's now 2 for $17. The tacos are very filling an hence our pre planned idea to do a shared dining experience. So we still opted to do that even tho we weren't getting the third taco this visit. The tacos and beet salad did not disappoint. The tacos come with their house-made EPIC salsa rather than consommé. I keep saying they need to bottle that because I'd definitely buy that for home consumption! Everyone I have talked to about it agrees it's pretty darn amazing salsa! I particularly noticed the new staff attire. It really does make a difference to see clear name tags and a more uniform look in order to be able to distinguish who works there. I tried Brickman's for the first time last Friday and was drawn in by their World Cup themed food, drinks, and decorations. It ended up being a really fun place to spend the evening. The restaurant sits right on the golf course and has plenty of parking. The views from the patio and the large windows inside are beautiful. The overall vibe felt like a mix between a country club and a sports bar, which made it a great spot to watch a game while still feeling a little more upscale than your typical sports bar. We started with the house margaritas, which were delicious, reasonably priced, and definitely packed a punch. The service was friendly and welcoming, and it seemed like a lot of the people there were regulars. My dining companions enjoyed their burgers, and the fries were really good. I thought my meal was just okay. Between the atmosphere, views, drinks, and service, I'd definitely like to return and try more of the menu. read more

After golfing at The Links, my friends and I came here for dinner. It's super convenient being able to finish a round and walk right over for food. We started with the Hummus Plate (4/5) and Spicy Sage Fries (5/5). The hummus had really good flavor and I especially enjoyed the garlic and olives in it. It paired well with the fresh veggies. The pita bread was a bit dry. The fries were definitely my favorite appetizer. They were flavorful with a slight crisp on the outside which is exactly how I like them. For my main entree, I ordered the Pesto Garden Pasta (2.5/5). It came with a generous portion of vegetables and was a good size overall but I wasn't a fan of the pesto flavor or the texture of the noodles. For dessert, I tried the Raspberry Cheesecake (3/5). The flavor was good although I personally prefer a firmer crust. It was still a nice way to end the meal. This is a lovely restaurant. We sat on the outdoor patio with a view of the golf course and putting green. The weather was perfect which might contribute to my five star review. You know how everything feels great when the stars align well? I was in the company of fantastic friends with a beautiful backdrop and absolutely perfect Southern California weather. Our server was very attentive and took excellent care of us throughout our entire meal. All eight of us enjoyed our meals. The popular dinner to order was the fish and chips. I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection. My husband went with his usual hamburger which he loved. Cocktails flowed and were tasty. The restaurant was decorated for Easter. They put the grass and egg decor on the ceiling of the indoor space. They also created a wall for photo ops, which, of course we took advantage of. Best way to start the morning after a wild week long event? Mimosas at Brickmans :) I ordered a Steak and Egg Smash and my friend and I got the Build Your Own Mimosa. Drink was great, the food was so good (we both keep on wanting to come back, might just make a trip out here soon), and the view with all the golfers was nice! Our server was very sweet and attentive and made sure we had a fantastic meal. The menu for brunch was limited (which might be restrictive for other guests) but honestly that was enough to choose from for us so we were happy with our brunch experience. Love the Christmas Bar! Came here for the first time with some friends to see the bar and celebrate birthdays, and it did not disappoint. The bar was decorated inside and outside, and had a few photo ops like a sleigh, and a window box you can stand in. The ceiling was covered in ornaments and presents for decorations. The cocktail menu was new this year and not only were they very reasonable, they were also strong, and the 3 we had tasted really good. Drinks were all the same price of $15, which was cheaper than what we paid at another pop up bar, for weaker drinks that weren't as good. We tried the Merry Rita, the Christmas Vacation, Partridge Pear-tini, and the Holly Jolly spritz, and even both of the mocktails.. All of them were excellent and we'd order them again. The food was extremely reasonable priced and delicious. I got the fish and chips and it was flavorful and not too greasy. Two friends had the burger and said it was tasty as well. We had such a wonderful experience at Brickman's! We came in to celebrate after finishing our finals, and our server Kaci made the whole experience even better. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, attentive, and accommodating from start to finish. She was so patient with our group and even helped us with modifications to our check, which we really appreciated. Came here for dinner with my husband and two young kids and assistant manager Frankie was very personable and made us feel like VIP's. I really appreciated how clean it was and the food was enjoyable. My 5 year old had the Mac and cheese and I really liked how it wasn't your usual Kraft macaroni, but looked whole made. I came here for Easter brunch and paid $85 for the buffet. Overall, it was just...mid. The breakfast side actually had a good variety. There was an omelette station (definitely the highlight for me), along with sausage, bacon, potatoes, and eggs. That part was solid, though the fruit selection was pretty limited. The lunch/dinner side had more options like honey baked ham, prime rib, mac and cheese, asparagus, and a vegetable medley. Unfortunately, this is where things really fell short. The ham had almost no flavor, and overall the food quality just didn't match the price point. They also had a dessert section with cookies, pastries, and other sweets, but nothing was labeled, so you had no idea what you were picking up. On top of that, most of the desserts tasted very generic, like something you'd get from a grocery store. There was a shrimp cocktail station, but the shrimp was very chewy and not good at all. They also had a small kids' section with hamburgers and another item, plus a separate area with caprese, and breakfast extras like pancakes or waffles and Greek yogurt. My biggest issue was the quality across the board. Even the bacon was thin and low quality. For $85, I expected much better. They also didn't have basic things like salt and pepper on the table, which was surprising. That said, the atmosphere was cute. The space was decorated nicely for Easter, and they had an Easter egg hunt and a bunny, which made it a fun experience overall. The staff members were nice, and I was checked on quite a bit. Lunch with my dear friend is always wonderful, regardless of the location but Brickman's fell a bit short.... There must have been a golf event that day because we ended up parking on the street despite their large parking lot. We were greeted right away and given the option of indoor or outdoor seating. It was a gorgeous day, so we opted for outdoors. It's a nice setup. You're literally right on the golf course, so if that's your thing, you have a great view. Take note: they have heating lamps. Service was friendly. I wish I remembered our server's name- he was nice, not overbearing, didn't check on us every 30 seconds. Nice guy. The food- honestly, I was underwhelmed. I wasn't super hungry so I ordered an appetizer- carnitas nachos. I picked at it, but then I just stopped. Meh, really didn't have any flavor. I boxed it and took it home. I knew my fiancé would enjoy it with all his hot sauce concoctions. I wanted to come back and update our review after having another go at Mother's Day brunch after having a poor experience in 2025. We live nearby and I really wanted to go somewhere else but my wife asked to go here because the weather was nice and we wanted to sit outside. The food was considerably better than in 2025 and the live music was amazing. Not sure what her name was but she could win America's Got Talent easily. They had many of the same items as last year... omelette station, prime rib, shrimp, breakfast items, desserts, etc. Across the board, it was better than 2025. Cooked better. Tasted better. Desserts were really good. Service was ok. Price was the same $85 as last year so maybe that's a win after a year's worth of inflation. But again, without an included cocktail or mimosa or anything, I don't think the value was there. Especially considering the primary guests are mothers and they're probably eating about $35 worth . We went to this restaurants for breakfast while staying at the lakehouse hotel. It is about an 8-10 min walk or a 3-5 min drive from the hotel. The place is located next to a golf course with a great view. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We tried their breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, and the classic Benny. All were just ok. They have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages and two freshly made juices, I tried the one with carrot, orange and ginger and it was delicious. We went there twice and the service was very slow both times. We tried to go there for a third time but after waiting for a while without being seated, we ended up going elsewhere. This is a great, local restaurant if you want a casual environment that's also family-friendly. The fries and burgers are amazing! I will say the service needs more work - we've been many times and seem to always get subpar service when we are seated in the dining room (slow service, lack of attention, lack of general happiness from employees lol). But when we sit in the bar area, service is great! We've also been here for Easter Brunch. I personally prefer the regular menu over the brunch menu. If you're looking for a venue for a joyful Easter egg hunt - I'd skip this as the space for the egg hunt is very, very small for the amount of people who attend. So disappointing. I realize that it is the Mother's Day holiday brunch and that everyone comes out and restaurants are slammed. I pre-purchased a buffet for my wife and children. We got sat in an overflow area where the live music was played on a speaker. It lacked all the ambience of the main dining room. We asked for a different table, but they were unable to accommodate. My husband took me here for our anniversary. He ordered the Hot Chicken Sandwich and I ordered the Birria Tacos. The Chicken Sandwich overall was good, but it used more slaw because of how big the chicken was to balance things out. The Birria Tacos were good and juicy, but over course it's not "traditional," I suppose. Would I order it again? Probably haha. The staff were very attentive. Came for brunch service on a Monday morning and we were warmly greeted and seated quickly. That's about the end of the positives. The server came to take our drink order, which we got about 30 minutes later (after the food..) and when one of the orders was wrong, she rolled her eyes and told us that if we didn't like it, she 'could' take it off the bill. It wasn't even the right drink??? The food was average and definitely the only other thing saving this from being a 1-star review. We couldn't get out soon enough so we asked for for the bill and noticed...surprise surprise, the wrong drink wasn't even taken off the bill! This review is based on service only because we did not have a chance to eat. We sat there with my toddler for about 20 min and asked to have a server. We notified the host, who was very kind, and notify the server for us. Then it's like the server was avoiding eye contact. There was barely anybody there and at that point, it felt we were being ignored for a reason and after 30 min of waiting we got up and left. Terrible service especially seeing that we had a toddler who needs to be fed on schedule. We went on a Sunday afternoon and were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered to share between two of us: Potato skins- these were our favorite and delish. Topped with beef birria, cheese, and pico de gallo Truffle it up burger- nice size burger, topped with caramelized onions, arugula, and served with tater tots (which were so crispy) Braised short rib- Not our favorite, unfortunately. The vegetables (beets and asparagus) were burned, so all you could taste was the burned vegetables. The short rib was a nice portion, but the beef and sauce were extremely salty for our taste. The mashed potatoes were creamy. Minus 1 star for the burned vegetables that was served to us. Also minus another star for the service. Unfortunately, our server was no where to be found. Our water and drink glasses were constantly empty, no one would come by to check on us. Also there was food all over the floor in the patio, from the tables being cleaned, but no one seemed to sweep the floor. So for the prices the restaurant charges, they should improve their service and also sweep under the patio tables throughout the day. read more

Went here on Valentine's Day around 10am and was surprised to find there was still a decent amount of parking spots available! Got the breakfast burrito and it was so good! Tater tots were nice and crispy and not greasy at all. I normally skip salsas but the one that came with my burrito was really good! Great food, fun sports bar (but also very family-friendly) atmosphere, and cheerful service. I love this place! While searching for a place to eat out on thanksgiving, I happened upon Brickmans. I've never eaten there so decided to give them a try last night (11/23/24). We were greeted immediately upon entering, but they were super busy so we had to wait a moment to be seated. Once at our table our server, Tyler, was right there pouring waters and taking our beverage orders. They have a nice beer and wine list of mostly local places, so bonus points for that! For food we ordered the roasted 1/2 chicken, and the fish & chips. Both plates were super nice, delicious, and well prepared. A side note: some of their menu items are a little over-the-top. For example They have a half dozen burgers, but they're all "gourmet type" offerings with blue cheese, and onion jams and special sauces. A regular double cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and red onions would have been nice, but that's just one lady's opinion. Our lovely server ended up also taking care of two large parties sat next to us ( a 10 and 14 top), so she got a little bogged down by them: which is lack of planning by management and not her fault. So we did have to wait a while to pay our check, but we had no place else to be so it wasn't a problem. I can't believe that we've never come here for dinner until now, though. I got home and was very glad to make a reservation for their Turkey Day Buffet. I'm sure the hubby and I will be back for dinner again, and often! read more
