My experience at bridal box for shopping and buying the dress was wonderful. They listened and got me into the perfect dress for my day. The nightmare came after when I booked with their seamstress. When you purchase a wedding dress the magic happens in alterations. The seamstress seemed to know what she was talking about. She told me she couldn't cut the train off for less than $500 on top of the $650 to hem the bottom and take my dress in. We left the train. When I tried my dress on the first time (she altered it twice) it felt wrong but was the right length. I took the dress home disappointed. I made another appointment to try and fix it, she charged me another $60 and it was still wrong. I was defeated with a dress that was just wearable. The card above is the name of the person who fixed their mistake, removed the train, adjusted the straps so the dress fit correctly. She did it for $125 and it was done in two days. It is perfect and captures exactly what it felt like the day I put my dress on! Liana was an ANGEL! I found my dress and she took such good care of us. We had a large group which I know can be overwhelming. One of my bridesmaids was actually being very rude and disrespectful towards literally everyone including Liana and I kept apologizing and trying to makeup for her behavior but Liana was so kind and professional she kept the focus on me and my dress. That bridesmaid is now being kicked out of the wedding and is no longer going to be my friend. That's how bad it was. Went in with my bestie to find "the one" for her Fall wedding and thought it would take a few shops to find it, but I was wrong. Not thrilled with my experience here. Felt the lady was pushy of what she thought was right. I wanted a size up from the one I tried on in the store and she was firm on "no the size 10 is perfect" well now a few months later I'm trying on my dress and it fits but it's so tight and uncomfortable, I'm going to have to get a corset put in it to even breathe and enjoy my wedding night. Really wishes I stuck to my gut but I thought she was the professional and knew better. Honestly I would go to David's bridal over this place because the dresses are cheaper there and they have a better selection. This is a charming quait bridal shop with a cozy personable feel, - house to several beautiful wedding dresses to choose from. I was greeted and assisted by Suzanne a very helpful, professional, and delightful young lady. She was fantastic throughout my whole visit, asking me questions about dress styles I'm looking for & also my venue to get a better idea of which dress would suit me most. After having me choose my top picks, she added her own selection of dresses to my liking. She helped me zip up each dress & put aside my favorites. Simultaneously, she kept my bridal party entertained, talking and laughing with us in the private VIP room. She also offered coffee & champagne. I wanted to wait until after I received my dress before I did a full review. I made a last minute bridal appointment here. And it was easy to get in. The place is adorable, and they have a lot of dresses to choose from of all kinds. I also grabbed a beautiful veil I think matched with my dress. Luckily, I found my dress that day. The main reason I'm giving it three stars Is because the day of my appointment, granted I drove two hours to be there, Christine was late. Which is fine, but when she came into the store there was never an apology. From someone who drove two hours, and wanted to have a great first bridal experience, I was a little saddened that it was looked over. Next, I did feel like she was a little pushy. To the point she would interrupt the girls that came with me, and we would all give each other looks. It was just odd. There was another girl on here that posted that Christine said her dress was brand new to the store...Christine said the same thing to me about my dress AND veil. I don't know if they really were new, it was just something I noticed. Today when I picked up my dress, I told her I wanted the sparkle veil, the same one I liked at my fitting four months ago, she told me oh that's great they're new... I called the morning off and asked if they had same day appointments. Coincidentally they had availability that same day. Suzanne was my consultant. My review is well overdue! I purchased my wedding dress here in 2019 (at their old location) in hopes to have my wedding in 2020. However it was delayed until now (2021) due to Covid. I actually went to David's Bridal before Bridal Box (BB). David's Bridal dresses appeared to have a lot of dresses but the styles are very similar. The staff at that time were helping my group and another group. Why David's Bridal schedule 1 attendant to 2+ groups about the same time I still don't know why. We were there first yet she cater to the other group more. Bad experience at David's Bridal for me. My experience with Bridal Box (BB) was wonderful. I scheduled a time slot so my bridesmaids and I can look at dresses together. It was just us for at least 1 hour. BB staff was very helpful. They keep me thinking realistic as my price range was around $1500. She indicated I should not look for dresses beyond the price range I set. So true; I wouldn't want to pay more than I can afford at that time. She grabbed several dresses. BB has a great selection of unique wedding dresses that doesn't seem mass produced like David's Bridal. Mermaid dresses does not fit my body shape well as I had wider hips. A-line dresses are my go too! I ended up falling in love with "Sottero & Midgley - Watson" wedding dress. It was the sample one which she sold to me for $1400 (retail $2500) with $100 for the dry clean. It was at my price point. The wedding dress suited the venue (Madeline Garden in Pasadena) - Victorian style. Yes, I traveled back to NorCal (where I grew up) to purchase my wedding dress. It is hard to trust and find good reasonably priced wedding dress shops in LA. My cousin purchased her dress at BB and it was gorgeous so of course I followed suit and visited BB. I am so glad I did! I would recommend BB to anyone looking for their 'one' dress. Make sure to book an appointment! read more

My party and I arrived at the store at 10:55am for my 11am appointment. The store owners didn't show up until 11:15. My bridal consultant Christine didn't get there until 11:45. I received no help on picking dresses. I was told to go grab my own. My own sister had to assist in getting in and out of dresses. The consultants wouldn't even come into the dressing room. When I arrived to my appointment I had gone through their website and picked out my favorite dresses. Do not go off of their online portal. They probably had less than 50 dresses in store to actually reference and try on. We finally left the appointment 30 minutes early because my consultant had an accident after a fall on the floor. And by accident, I mean a real accident. The accident got wiped on the ballgown I was wearing at the time. Just completely and utterly disgusting to say the least. I do not recommend this "salon" under any circumstances. I wish there was an option for zero stars. read more
